My garage door was replaced by A-Bald Overhead several months ago and I wrote an internet review giving the company 5 stars after that experience. I recently had a problem with my garage door opener that was 4 years old when I purchased the house and is currently 9 years old. I had such a good experience with Russell previously that I called him for advise. Russell could have tried to schedule a service appointment but instead he went well out of his way to discuss the futility of trying to repair the problem and instead suggested that I replace the unit. He offered to sell and install a new opener but also offered to provide me with installation tips should I feel comfortable in replacing the unit myself. Russell spent a generous amount of time with me on the phone discussing the installation tips and I was able to replace the head unit myself and that saved me the cost of installation. We needed our door opener repaired or replaced and we had already had A-Bald Overhead do repairs before and were very happy with them so we called Russell again. He was very honest with giving us option to fix our opener we have and the cost but also told us the age of our opener and it was his opinion for just a little more we could replace it with a new opener with more options than our old one. No pressure! He sent out Amber the very next day to install our new opener. Amber was a pleasure to have working at our house and was very good at explaining how to use the key pad and the phone download to me because I am not tech savvy. Great service from these guys at a reasonable price. Late one afternoon our garage door was stuck in "up" position. This was a big problem since we face a busy street and did not want the door up over night. We called A-Bald Overhead and they had Russell out in just a few hours. He was able to fix it quickly and the price was very reasonable. He also did some preventive maintenance on my mom's house next door while he was on site. We were very pleased. GREAT service from the guys at A-Bald Overhead. All of a sudden the garage decided it wasn't sure if it should be up or down. We called and they came over that afternoon to figure out what was wrong. It was the opener, I guess 15 years is a good life expectancy for something that is used multiple times a day.
