como siempre muy amable Alex y Eddie. Alex did my haircut and I decided to do something different, side bang! I love speaking with him and it felt so natural and comfortable being there while he was cutting my hair. Shampoo and conditioner included as always which I love. Will be back again like always in another 3 months :p. read more

I feel terrible leaving this review but after my last appointment I won't be going back. I was working with one of the stylists and went over my plans for my engagement photos that were taking place the next day and even was offering to have them do my wedding hair and makeup. I brought the golden blonde extensions with me that color matched my hair perfectly but I needed my roots touched up and to get a hair trim. I told the stylists my hair color already matched but I just needed my roots touched up and a trim. I'm not sure where the misunderstanding was because she ended up bleaching all of my hair and turning my hair grey. At the end she didn't even cut my hair and told me I was done. When I told her I needed my bangs trimmed she did trim them but made me look so botched. I didn't tell the salon when I was there because I'm not confrontational but I cried the whole way home. The hair on the top of my scalp is fried and frizzy and looks like baby hairs now and my bangs look terrible. I had to cancel my engagement photos and now need to wait to find someone to fix my hair. The whole staff there is extremely nice so I feel terrible posting this but I was very clear when I sat down with her about what I wanted and I don't understand where the miscommunication happened. read more

My neighbor goes here and sees eddy. I thought with a referral would be good. It was definitely pricey. It seemed quite high as another person quoted me 50.00 for a toner. For a toner and trim over 100.00. I tipped it was ok. I thought I'd give him another chance. I reached out he blatantly avoided me. I had told him I wanted to grow out my grey. I guess I am not worth at least a text or call back to tell me he can't work with me. This is not good human interaction. I know I wasn't rude and most people love me. This was too sad. Worse part I care and I'm worried he's not ok. In customer service always respond. You don't want to work with me that's ok..but no response not ok.. read more

AG Salon - After hair was done - Hair Salons Near Me - Anaheim, California

Made an appointment to have my hair colored and cut. My stylist's name is Eddie. He chose my hair color and I asked for at shoulder cut. The color he close was fantastic; it was slightly lighter and has allowed my gray hair grow in with less notice. The haircut was professional and I am able to style my hair easily. The shop is clean and a very comfortable place to have your hair done. I saw young, middle-aged, and old persons come in and have their hair done. I recommend this place. This shop is also bilingual. read more

After a few years of going to the same salon, I wanted to venture out and try a new local place. I am happy I found AG Salon! After Googling a few places, they appeared as a highly rated nearby spot, and I was not disappointed. I was able to secure my reservation online for the next day, and upon my arrival, the hairdressers were super friendly and inviting. I was impressed by the clean and fancy interior. You could tell they love the black/gold aesthetic, and it works! As for the haircut, I wanted something to preserve my hair length but keep my layers and add some dimension. I got my haircut with Alex, and he was super friendly and completely understood my vision without skipping a beat. He even suggested curtain bangs, and I am completely obsessed with how they turned out! He was really efficient but precise with the cut, as I was in and out of the chair in 20-30 minutes. Love! The cut was also reasonably priced and consistent with what was quoted online. I would also like to mention that they are a bilingual team (english and spanish), which is not an issue for me since I also speak spanish (though not 100 percent fluent). I chose to speak to my hairdresser in spanish since that seemed to be the primary language they were speaking in, but I am sure even non-spanish speakers can get the hair cut or service they are seeking here. Very warm and friendly team. Even invited me to an upcoming "quermés" they were hosting downstairs (it's a fun social event with food, music, etc usually held to raise funds for a good cause/individuals in need). 10/10, can not recommend enough. Will be going back for my future maintenance cuts. read more

Superior services. One on one consultation. They checked how my hair strands would react to chemicals before doing anything. Eduardo gives excellent customer service. You feel like he is your family. Very honest and they will tell you what will work on your hair. Felt very comfortable. Gave a realistic time frame for appointment. Easy to book an appointment. Salon is beautiful and prices is fair. They honored consultation estimate and did not charge me for my consultation. Overall, very happy with may appointment. read more

AG Salon - Chic asymmetrical style - Hair Salons Near Me - Anaheim, California

I booked a hair styling and makeup session for my girlfriend and was really disappointed that they price gouged me at the end. Their site advertises their hair CUTTING services as $50 for women and $70 for their makeup. They do indicate that the price can be higher with a plus sign but there was ZERO reason to not charge us the base price. They did not have to color, cut, shampoo or do anything to my girlfriends hair. They literally just curled it. She could have done it herself. They didnt do anything special. The makeup was done well but there was nothing crazy about it. It was standard professional makeup. Instead of paying the $120 I was expecting plus tip, they price gouged me for $200 for literally zero justifiable reason. Its so egregious that it truly feels like a borderline scam. $80 price increase for no reason is crazy work. If anything it should have been less than $120 because instead of a haircut they simply did curling. It felt so egregious, I would go as far to say as its bait and switch. If they had been honest with me about the price, I would have given them a glowing 5 star review. Now im out $250 because im a generous tipper. Its sad that a business would rather have a quick buck like that instead of do ethical business and literally retain me as a client for years and make thousands or more from me. Now I will never give them another dollar and tell others to avoid them. I would have been happy to pay the price they felt was fair IF they were honest at the start about that price. Otherwise, its a scam. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I've been to many hair salons in my lifetime but this is definitely the best one, no question. I was 20 minutes late and the owner and assistant were so understanding, customer service was amazing! Eddy is such a charming and talented man. I got curtain bangs and wolfcut layers and they came out exactly as I imagined it thanks to the awesome advice and recommendations from Eddy. He went above and beyond by explaining more about hair maintenance and styling. I had a hair wash, haircut, and styling done for $50! (Any other place would've charged $60+). I will definitely be going back again read more

Customer service is superb! Eddie and Alex are incredible stylists. The atmosphere is amazing & friendly. Highly recommended!!!

I want to start off with the stylist cut my hair exactly how I wanted and did a great job. This is only my second time here but I don't see myself returning. Unfortunately, my parents never taught me Spanish growing up and both times I've gone, the stylists only speaks Spanish. I had made an appointment through their site at 11:52am for a 2pm appointment same day. I arrived around 1:45-1:50pm to find the door seemed to be locked, but people were inside. I took another customer telling the stylist inside I was there. Then the stylist almost seemed as if they didn't want to let me in until I showed them I had an appointment with them. They were surprised and seemed a bit annoyed that I made an appointment. Once they let me in, they said they would be maybe 15 min before getting to me. They weren't finished until 2:40 with their other client. I finally sat down, they washed my hair, then had to tend to another client who had foils in their hair. I understand that can damage one's hair and have no issue with them stopping to assist with it, but while they finished me, this poor other client sat at the washing station. Overall, it felt as if they need more staffing on a weekday and a better booking system. read more
