Been going here for half a year now, the cuts with Don and Andrew have been clean and consistent across the board. I usually come for a high skin fade comb over. It's $15 a cut before tip which is pretty affordable compared to other barbers around Anaheim/Garden Grove. Highly recommend giving them a try. read more

As soon as he puts the dye on my head my scalp hurts. Careless during the process as well. I came in on Saturday, 8/17. The gentleman greeted me immediately and said he would be with me shortly. I waited maybe 5 mins before he called me to his chair. He asked how I wanted my hair cut, & I told him, just a straight even cut and maybe thin it out a little. I knew something was wrong when he straightened my hair before cutting (instead of the usual damp hair). And, when he split my hair (top & bottom) and used a buzzer to trim the bottom so when he released the top half, he didn't even know where he trimmed off! The entire hair cut took 10 mins. When I left the shop, everything *looked* good. When I got home and inspected a little more, my hair was CROOKED all around, blunt & not thinned out like I asked. I wanted to go ash blonde but she told me that it wasn't a good idea because it would probably damage my hair and that we would have to do it in sessions. I had let my previous bayalage grow out so my hair was mostly dark brown. I'm so glad she was honest. I appreciate someone who actually cares about the health of my hair and not just a quick buck. Im new in the area and needed a hair cut. I turned to Yelp to see who Yelpers recommended. I came across America's Cuts and decided to give them a shot since they have almost 5 stars. I was not disappointed, and was very pleasantly surprised. Its a smaller shop with maybe 8-9 stations. Very clean. Ambiance was good too. Nice music. There were 3 Stylist working...the brothers and a lady. Each and every one of them greeted me. I think they all smiled....but they had masks on...lol. After a few minutes of waiting, one of the brothers called me up. Sorry, I dont know his name. Super nice. Had a great conversation about dogs! He was very thorough. Did not rush at all. Its totally different from the chain hair cutting places. All 3 of the Stylists were very friendly. You can tell by the way they interact with the customers that they have a loyal following. The price was very reasonable. $15 for a mens cut! Chain places charge $20-$30 for a cut that they rush through. I found my new hair cut spot! You need to try this place out! I'll be back. read more

I have been here several times over the years. Every time was for something simple, a hair trim usually. However the few times I have asked them to cut quite a bit off they seemed scared to or would convince me not to, which was odd considering that I am usually the paranoid one. (Thanks to my mother who once told Supercuts to cut a few inches off the day before my first day at sixth grade at a new school, and they cut it to my chin) I was scared to go get my hair cut at the smaller places ever since. I usually had it all done at once with highlights or hair coloring with friends at their salons. However this was my third time coming here. I was turned off right away this time when I walked in and asked for a hair trim and the girl started talking to another worker who I did not even realize was there. (She was doing something on the ground behind the counter or on a low shelf behind the counter or something). The girl started talking back and then the only thing I heard in English was "We are all busy!" at her. I looked around and there were four workers here and three were taken and I was the last, so that whole situation completely confused me. The lady who cut my hair this time was quite friendly, conversed, etc. I think I may have had her before but it has been a long time. I had my hair layered again so it doesn't look much shorter but the front has been cut nicely with a little more style to it. However my hair is very flat and stubborn and fine, so I can never do much with it, so I will take what I can get. What completely confused me though is when she kept asking if I wanted my hair straightened. I said it is always straight naturally, and then she pulled out a straightener and turned it on. I did not want to get charged for something extra especially if my hair is as straight as it can get. (Curls fall out within minutes so I never bother). She said to let her know if I wanted it straightened and went back to blow dry it. I am beyond confused but I said okay. I was happy with the overall cut although I was willing to go just a tad shorter this time with it being so hot. Maybe next time I won't get it layered, who knows. I am happier with it now than I was. Prices for women's cuts state $12 and up, so you never know what it will be. Mine was $15 for a trim and layers. A turn off was getting charged 50 cents for using my card but it's not the end of the world. By the time I left they had a few people waiting. They do take walk ins. Like I said though overall the staff is friendly, but it is always a turnoff for me to see bickering or arguing amongst staff in front of customers. I have seen it at several places. I will continue to come here though. read more
