But though we did not end up buying our JD from Ag-Pro, it was at no fault to our saleswomen, Jewel Jackman. Parts dept is lost. Gave me wrong part and returned it from parking lot within 5 minutes. Was tola a credit would be in my bank within a few days. It has been 2 weeks, my bank states nothing from them and they say I forgot twice and now they say it's been done. Customer service is awful. I found the same part on Amazon for 40.00 compared to their price of 161.00. I will never go in here again. read more

The only good people that work there are 2 of the parts people. In the past 3 years I've tried to buy 2 tractors and a leaf picker upper machine. On the tractor all they had to do was call me back with an estimate for a trade in on my 6420 JD and they never called me back. On the leaf machine same thing "we'll call you back with an estimate" never called back. Then buying a new tractor the salesman said what I want doesn't exist so we drove up to Georgia to buy the 6105e no cab that "doesn't exist". Most recent problem is no AC on the 6420 and tech says he'll be here Monday to fix it only for me to call on Tuesday and service told me their techs have training in Georgia till Thursday. There are many other things that have happened (wrong parts or complete denial that a part came off a John Deere tractor) but that was before the name change so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. It really sucks that they have a monopoly on John Deere. read more

The Stihl website said Ag Pro had in stock a MS 462 chainsaw so I drove there Monday morning and sat down with salesman who went to look for saw in the display area and it wasn't there. Then he went in the back and searched, came back 10 minutes later tells me he can't find it. After a few minutes I am told a story that "the boss has it in his truck". They say they can have it in tomorrow about 10a.m. and I can pick it up then. Salesman Steve gives me an estimate on the price. Next day at 10a.m. I decide to call because I don't feel confidence after the run-around the day before. When I call and ask for salesman Steve the lady says he's not there and won't be there anytime soon. I remind her who I am and she remembers me but says the chainsaw was not in the boss' truck but in his house and they still don't have it. Then she tells me I can pick it up next day and throws in that the saw I'm buying is worth a whole lot more than what Steve quoted me but that they would honor the price. She says the saw is for firefighters and rescue. I ask if they can call me next day when the saw is in their hands, and she says yes. I look that saw up and it's EXACTLY WHAT I DON'T NEED. And I never got a call back not even to say they don't have it. It's been 4 days I guess they just want me to go away. Ag-Pro may be agricultural, but they are not professional. I spent my $1500 elsewhere and won't ever go back to Ag-Pro. read more

So the bearing on my really old flail mower went out and it was torn to pieces. I managed to get the outer race and part of the inner part out. They measured the parts that I had and were able to match up my bearing perfectly. They advised me at the time to order the one for the other side as if this one went bad, the other one has just as much time on it so it's bound to go bad as well. Sadly the bearing was only $30 with $20 for shipping, butl stupid me didn't listen and here it is 6 months later and low and behold the mower sounds like crap again. I knew exactly what it was and go figure the other bearing was torn to shreds. Luckily I saved the box from the other bearing and have the part number. I will say some of the newer guys in there aren't quite sure and I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman who was able to figure it out. Hope he never leaves. read more

I asked them to look over a used John Deere lawn tractor I was purchasing to see if they thought the very low hour meter matched the condition of the mower. They were very helpful and the general manager took time out of his day to personally look it over. That's the kind of customer service you rarely see, especially for somebody off the street, and it means I'll be using them for service and accessory purchases from now on. Staff can be a little slow and appear lost at times when you ask about parts. Been told that have in stick only to find out when I get there that they don't. Really wish they were better at customer service. Prices a little on the high side since they are the only dealer in area for certain commercial grade mower parts. Go there only when I need it that day and can't order it online. read more

Here I sit counting the number of rings, going on 30, nobody answers the phone. And it seems that over the years as the name of the place changes (I know of three), the culture of not answering the phone continues... 45 rings now and nothing. That said, they had the best price in town or online that I was able to find for a double sindle/pully for the deck of my Huskee mower. read more
