To get a sample of a few I went with one of their combination platters that included lamb skewer, gyros, meatballs, and waiter suggested the Greek pasta and rice (instead of fries). Great suggestion. Fantastic flavor, fresh spice and seasoning throughout and so worth a return visit when I am back in Grob Umstadt. Also enjoyed the stuffed grape leaves and left satisfied and full. Highly recommend.

Seit 1992 ist es unter der Leitung von Fam. Topaloglou zum Restaurant "Poseidon" umbenannt worden. Das Restaurant wurde komplett umgebaut und neu eingerichtet. Ein Besuch im Restaurant Poseidon bedeutet Balsam für Augen, Seele und Magen. Von der ersten Minute an setzt sich der Gast mit griechischer Kultur und Lebensart auseinander und begibt sich in eine Welt, die weitab vom Alltag liegt. Im Restaurant Poseidon wird auf höchstem Niveau auf Qualität und Frische geachtet sowie unkompliziert und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gekocht. Der neu eingerichtete Biergarten bestehend aus 90 Sitzplätzen und bietet bei Sonnentagen ein schattiges, gemütliches Beisammensein unter den großen Markisen. I have the German schnitzel (in a Greek restaurant-I know, I know). It was pretty damn good. The restaurant was hot as hell but oh well. If you find yourself in Darmstadt with no dinner reservations this is a good choice.
