I was sceptical. When I went there I realized the restaurant is spacious.. So here is the list ordered by us: . Drinks: White wine ouzo ( Authentic Greek drink) orange juice Beer Cola . Waitresses kind of forgot about cola and beer and super slow service..... . . STARTERS: We ordered starter palate: It had variety of starters and dips. - Peprika - Egg plant fried - fried zucchini - Kartoffel ( Fried potatoes) - peanut sauce, fish sauce etc. Some breads . But it was okay! I was not super happy with the starters because: - Portion served was way too less. - Taste was just okay, not upto the price I was paying. - It took sometime longer than expected for the starters to reach out table. . Main Dish: baby calamari: Not worth the price Medallions : just okaish VEG Kartoffel Zucchini and quinoa sandwich: Awfully bad (DO NOT ORDER) Dishes ordered had poor presentation. The lack taste and smell. VEGETARIANS hardly have any options and the one I tried is 12.50euros and is a Strict NO. . DESSERT: White mousse with raspberry pulp: Amazing Ravani: too sweet creme brulee: ok Final RATING: AMBIANCE: 4/5 DRINKS:3.5/5 FOOD: 1/5 STARTERS:2/5 DESSERT:2/5 SERVICE: 1/5 OVERALL: 1/5 . . . . . Much like most other Greek restaurants in Germany, there is always a large selection of very meaty combination platters. This is something I always enjoy! There is a slight tendency to overcook some meats, but the lamb chops are always good. The owners and staff are super-friendly and willing to accommodate special requests (a number of food allergies in the family). In any case, we always look forward to eating here! A good bet if you're in A-Burg!

To be honest, I though bringing old looking appetizers to our table was a bit strange. The sample appetizers didn't look appetizing at all, they looked old. A photo or explanation would have sufficed. The appetizers were good but nothing really special. I had the eggplant and octopus which were both decent. We each ordered our main dishes which included rice, fried potatoes or salad as the dish. I had a meat platter which was really good. The rice was ok, just parboiled rice. The potatoes were really good though. I really loved the salad, the dressing was very flavorful. Overall good place, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. I would recommend coming here.

To get a sample of a few I went with one of their combination platters that included lamb skewer, gyros, meatballs, and waiter suggested the Greek pasta and rice (instead of fries). Great suggestion. Fantastic flavor, fresh spice and seasoning throughout and so worth a return visit when I am back in Grob Umstadt. Also enjoyed the stuffed grape leaves and left satisfied and full. Highly recommend.
