I know the furniture was heavy and not easy to transport upstairs, but I saw them make simple, careless mistakes like lay a mirror, with sharp metal brackets on the back, bracket side down on an end table. The end table had a few scratches already, but nothing like what they ended up with after the move. It would of been a lot easier for them if the had taken the drawers out, and been supplied with the right equipment from the company. When I booked the move, the guy on the phone was not upfront with all the extra fees and charges. So, that was a bit of a surprise. Then, after I had paid for the agreed amount of work, the driver slipped in an extra $180.xx charge. I was refunded that charge and the guy was reprimanded. Just be sure to check. He was also the same guy who drove over my rock wall, knocking it down, after I specifically warned him not to.

The facility seemed fine at first, but just two months later, I was blindsided with a 28.9% rent increase--jumping to $98/month with no justification other than "we can." While their lease legally allows for 30-day pricing changes, this policy is being exploited in a deceptive and unethical way. Now that my belongings are stored, the company knows full well that it's expensive, time-consuming, and physically difficult to move out. This leaves customers like me in a hostage situation--forced to either accept their arbitrary price hikes or pay hundreds to move our things elsewhere. This kind of tactic clearly feels like bait-and-switch pricing. There was no transparent warning that the rate would increase so drastically after such a short time. I entered into the agreement in good faith, trusting the price would be reasonably stable for a while--not jacked up before my third month. Even worse, this pricing strategy seems designed to take advantage of customers once they're locked in. It's coercive and predatory, especially for people on tight budgets or who don't have the luxury of hiring movers every time a storage company decides to raise rates. I've already filed a formal complaint with the Tennessee Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, and I strongly urge others to be wary before signing anything with this company. Read the fine print and assume that whatever rate they offer you initially is just bait--because they have the power to raise it as much as they want, as often as they want. If you value pricing integrity, predictability, or fairness--look elsewhere.

It went out to about five moving companies (this was on Saturday)  Within 10 minutes Ky from Bellhop at the Chattanooga office called me. Bellhop was the first to respond. Ky was so nice and extremely courteous. He helped us figure out what we needed. The price he quoted was a good fair price. Because of Ky we immediately felt confident and agreed to hire Bellhop. We received a confirmation for the job on the same day. Next day (Sunday) we got a notification with the pictures of our movers who were Alec and Austin. Alec also texted us to confirm the time etc. Alec and Austin arrived on Monday at our storage unit ON TIME and ready to work. They loaded the truck and we drove to our apartment. Let me tell you Alec and Austin were incredible. They worked their butts off NON STOP. We are on the third floor with TWO SETS OF STAIRS. They brought everything up with a smile and always asked us where we wanted things placed. We saw Alec carrying two very heavy large boxes at a time (like they were empty!) Me and my husband were shocked and impressed with the strength and stamina Alec and Austin had. And they did it in such an upbeat courteous friendly manner. They were fast too.  Nothing was damaged either no walls touched, no floors scratched. PERFECT! They were able to get heavy items up the stairs we thought we were going to have to leave behind and they were so nice about doing it! They made an incredibly stressful move stressless for us!  We are 100% happy with Bellhop and will definitely use them again. Ask for the team Alec and Austin. I did not observe them using any moving straps or tools that would be expected to protect both their bodies and your furniture. this apparently meant they also did not wrap any sort of protection inside the truck, as there are now numerous stains on my couch I will be dealing with, when it was in almost perfect condition prior to move. this also goes for repeatedly only using one person to move large items, mattress , credenza, etc. and resulted in the item/furniture being slammed to the ground upon placing it in the new dwelling. I watched this happed multiple times, where if they had just been working together my furniture and floor wouldn't be suffering damage. finally, my mom had spent an enormous amount of time largely labeling each box, and every room was grouped together at load in. even though they moved each room out one at a time, they did not load them into the truck in the same spot. this resulted in every single load on move in having to separate EVERY box off of the dolly into different rooms, and even then, extremely clearly boxes were in the wrong room. I paid a lot of money because I can't lift the heavy boxes with my disability, and it was a waste of money because I still had to move so many of the boxes to different rooms. on top of that, they wedged the boxes into the closet so boxes are scraping walls, and I couldn't move one box without starting from the top of the mountain and moving every box out. save your money, sell your furniture when you move and just buy new. not worth the hassle, expense, and damage of using two men and a truck. or use a better company

They are professional, helpful, and do an outstanding job. We moved all of our house to a storage facility. AMC had to walk our entire house full of furniture down a steep driveway. They wrapped every piece of furniture with blankets, plastic wrapped the blankets in place, and not a scratch or dent was to be found. One year later, they moved our furniture into our newly built home. It was a repeat performance. These guys are amazing and care about your belongings and your home. Not a bump on the wall or a dent of anything.
