The facility seemed fine at first, but just two months later, I was blindsided with a 28.9% rent increase--jumping to $98/month with no justification other than "we can." While their lease legally allows for 30-day pricing changes, this policy is being exploited in a deceptive and unethical way. Now that my belongings are stored, the company knows full well that it's expensive, time-consuming, and physically difficult to move out. This leaves customers like me in a hostage situation--forced to either accept their arbitrary price hikes or pay hundreds to move our things elsewhere. This kind of tactic clearly feels like bait-and-switch pricing. There was no transparent warning that the rate would increase so drastically after such a short time. I entered into the agreement in good faith, trusting the price would be reasonably stable for a while--not jacked up before my third month. Even worse, this pricing strategy seems designed to take advantage of customers once they're locked in. It's coercive and predatory, especially for people on tight budgets or who don't have the luxury of hiring movers every time a storage company decides to raise rates. I've already filed a formal complaint with the Tennessee Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, and I strongly urge others to be wary before signing anything with this company. Read the fine print and assume that whatever rate they offer you initially is just bait--because they have the power to raise it as much as they want, as often as they want. If you value pricing integrity, predictability, or fairness--look elsewhere.

The team I received was untrained, unprofessional, disrespectful of my possessions, stole an item, tried to get in a fight with one of my buildings maintenance workers and cost me thousands of dollars beyond the thousands I was paying for the move. Some people may get lucky and have a good experience. I did not. It took weeks to get a canned response to my damage claims with the end result being $0.60/pound on damaged items. What that means is a $400 payment on over $4K in damages. And the $100 item that was stolen (not damaged)... $2.00 reimbursement! Even when speaking to the moving company that was contracted, they admitted to every shortcoming, fired the employees that were involved, and stated I shouldn't be charged for this move. Going back to Bellhop, I received very little support and even less compensation. I'm sure they will say "this is a rare occurrence" and "they're sorry for the inconvenience," but this was more of a violation than an inconvenience with Bellhop being the only ones walking away happy. Don't risk it. Hire someone who cares, will stand behind their brand, and will probably even be cheaper. DON'T USE BELLHOP.

The truck did not show up to pick up the furniture, When it finally did show up 14 hours late there had to be a whole new crew to pack and load the truck. They did not finish until after midnight! In the process of loading the truck there was significant damage to a door within the home we were moving out of. Also after having described in detail, all that was to be brought with the move the movers still left behind and exercise equipment. It was just one machine that could easily have been moved out of the unit by removing a bedroom door off of the hinges. They were refused to do so, and left the machine behind without any warning. The next issue was that the truck was still to arrive on time at its destination with all of our materials. It did not arrive until nine hours later than we were told. In the meantime, Work crew came and left because the truck was not there and did not return. Therefore, we had to unload the truck ourselves into our new home. Throughout the two days of the loading and unloading every phone call I had with the people at Bell hops help line would promise different things that never came true! If I could count the number of untruth that I was told Throughout those two days I don't know if I could count! Trying to make this right the company provided 15% of the cost of the move back to us! That no way will pay for the cost of shipping the exercise machine or for the frustration that we had!I did receive a payment for the damage to the door in the furniture which was satisfactory. Other than that, I would never use this company ever ever! As of now, I am waiting to hear back from a supervisor about the possibility of moving the machine that was left behind. If they end up shipping that to us or getting it to us in someway, then I will for sure post another review to amend my information here so everyone knows the true nature of the company.

First the driver tried to blame me for moving the pod after he had fled the scene (assuming he was drunk or high) Then after I call the local pods store, they have drug out the process of paying me back for the $17,000 in damage that was done to the property and now refusing to pay claiming that I did not follow their procedure. Frankly, they didn't follow my procedure of not backing into my house. This is an extremely unprofessional and unaccountable organization and that is something I wouldn't recommend anyone pay money to be involved with.
