ordered a key and service, the day they said they would come out I had to call for them to tell me key was on back order, then on the new day they were supposed to come out their phone goes straight to voicemail when I call(as if I was blocked). (updates): (sep 4): calls still go straight to voicemail still, and management replies to this post saying the key is back ordered even further. (sep 9): finally got an appointment. 2 hours past my appointment I am told the technician got their only machine wet from the rain and monday they will send it to florida to get fixed and MAYBE id get a rescheduled appointment whenever available after the machine gets back from repair, whenever that would be. not first appointment, but whenever they have an open appointment! I don't know if it's that guys first day and he took the machine out of the vehicle to cut keys in the rain or what but this is highly unprofessional. all of it. absolutely ridiculous. read more

Stood my daughter up twice. We made the first appointment for our VW key and he made up some phone problem excuse. She called and waited for almost an hour for a no-show. I called him on another number and made another appointment for a week later because he was booked solid. Again a no-show. Tried calling and waited for an hour. We ended up hauling the Jetta to Sundial locksmith in Tempe and Ori had us down the road in 30 minutes. I am very disappointed with our local small business. read more

Do not call these people for locksmith. They will overcharge you drastically. I got locked my keys in my truck. For 30 seconds of work I was charged 135.00. they are scammers and will take advantage of you especially if they know you need service. I didn't have the opportunity to call different locksmiths for quotes. These guys are crooks. Stay away. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would.. I was referred to Affordable locksmith by my Home Warranty company for a re-keying service. I made one attempt to contact them, by leaving a message on their machine and after 24 hours they never returned my call. At this point, I contacted my warranty company and requested another business because I saw where this was going.. The other competitor had enough decency to pick up their phone and decline our business due to their reasons, but at least the "communication" (is key here) was there. Unfortunately I was redirected to Affordable Locksmith again.. Long story short, I had the worst time with this company. 1st off, they never returned one message; approximately 3 were left. 2nd, when I did reach them, they confirmed for an appointment that they never showed up to.. It got to the point, where I would call to find out what happened and they would either immediately hang up on me (after greeting me?) or send my call directly to voice mail... They were deliberately avoiding my calls? Regarding their "response", they told my warranty company that they showed up but no one was home? Beside the fact that I was present waiting on them to show up, my CCTV system also determined that was an outright lie... Or, more likely than not, they went to the wrong location. I think a follow up phone call would have easily solved this issue... Confirm an address or appointment.. Nope, just crickets chirping. Of course, after this experience, I uncovered a plethora of negative reviews on other sites about them. My whole experience seeking services with Affordable lasted approximately 4 days.. Have you ever wondered how a company stays in business? Ask this company, I think they have figured it out. I would not recommend Affordable Locksmith to anyone.. Come on Yuma! Update* I received a call back from Brandon after stating that I was leaving a review Affordable in my last message (#4). He advised that he had no prior messages from me. I expect a rebuttal to this review claiming "we attempted to make things right but.." I just hope they do right by their other customers, this was a very disappointing experience for us. read more

Quick to get appointment. They came and were friendly. Unable to open locked door. They said they needed to get a key made to unlock the door and that they would return to open the door several days later. No return call. Umable to reach them and left several voice messages. Poor customer service and follow through...used Nichols Lock and Safe and they did very good. Stay away from these guys....they will waste your time.... read more

If I can give 0 stars I would. I RARELY leave any reviews but I HAD to for them. We lost our only car key and called them to schedule an appointment. We called on a Thursday, scheduled for Saturday at 11:30am and never showed. When I called them at 12 they had the audacity to ask if we were "sure" we called them. They told us they were going to try and send someone but would give us a call back. Never did. We called again at 1pm. They told us 3:30pm. No one shower. We called AGAIN and they told us they were already closing so they couldn't fit us in until WEDNESDAY. I should have paid the extra $100 and gone to a dealership. TERRIBLE SERVICE! read more

I'll be honest, I made an account for the sole purpose to NOT recommend this company. I called Affordable because I had lost my car keys and needed them replaced. They answered after the third attempt, and told me it was possible. We arranged to meet at my car's location at a local Wal-Mart. After about 30 minutes after the appointed time, I called the dispatcher and he claimed that the technician was in the area. Additionally, he claimed the technician had called my phone number but I never received a call. We went back and forth for about 15 minutes until eventually he simply stopped answering my calls. We waited a total of 3 hours after the appointed time. Might I add, I was being very friendly and received no indication or complaint from his end - leading to no indication that he would flake on our scheduled time. I ended up calling Nichols Lock and Safe, and the technician - Jason - came out in less than 20 minutes to help. He was incredibly friendly, and was much cheaper than what Affordable said they would be. Jason said that the issues with Affordable were actually fairly common. I wish I had known that prior to calling them. -10/10 Would not recommend Affordable Security Locksmith and Alarm. read more

The WORST. Do not call them. If it is on a weekend just wait for Burge locksmith to be open, as Affordable is useless. They don't show up to appointment, don't call to notify you of anything, and they don't answer when you call them. So unprofessional. I am left car-less this weekend because they set up an appointment for the following day (Saturday), when everyone else is closed. I could go on and on about this dishonest, unprofessional place. Unfortunately,I can not give a good review. I called Affordable yesterday, because I locked my keys in my car and they are the only keys I own. I called and asked if they unlocked doors. I was told by the person that answered that they did. I asked for the price and then gave the location I was at. I was told that a tech would be there within the hour. I waited and called back after an hour and was sent to voicemail. I called again and left a voice message and asked to please call and let me know if they would be coming out or not. I never received a reply and nobody ever came. I finally called my sister to pick me up and left my car there overnight. I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more
