After looking and calling so many places my brother and I came across this place and after calling and asking information we knew the wait was worth it. We met with Dee in person to go take our R V and let me tell you Dee exceeded our expectations she loves her job and it shows... she greeted us with a smile, it was hot outside and she offered water, made us feel welcome, her communication skills are just amazing, she walked us through every detail, patiently explained everything and made us feel calm knowing we were leaving out R V at a safe place and at a very good price. This is a SCAM operation, stay away as far as you can. I've paid my monthly dues which they keep refunding (see photos) and claim they've never received my payments, but instead demand I pay late fees. Multiple requests to speak to Doug Blum (Douglas H Blum), the owner, were all ignored/dismissed. He must be in on the scam or in complete ignorance of what his minions are doing. In fact, out of 4 payments I made between Feb 3-4, they refunded 2 and clearly kept the other 2, while claiming they never received them. Chase bank confirmed that the merchant was, in fact, issuing refunds on their own accord, and that the merchant still received 2 payments on Feb 3-4 as is clearly seen in my statement. Which means, I actually made an extra payment that should've been applied to March. Then again I paid for April, which too they refunded. Seems like a setup for collecting late fees. Speaking to Dee multiple times and clearly explaining it again and again was a waste of time, she's either brain dead or her job is precisely to run this scam, so she's playing dumb and deaf role very well. read more

I have been storing my toybox trailer there for about 3 years without any real issues, then this year about 3 months ago someone got into my trailer without breaking into it (I guess had a matching key) and stole a few items worth about $500. Then this week I picked up the trailer and when I got home and opened up the trailer found my two e-bikes are gone. To steal the bike they had to pull the trailer out of the space since one of the bikes was to larger to come through the door. I report the issue to the office and all they had to say were they are not liable. I guess the signing in and out is useless. Just giving a little insights... 144.00 in late fees.... I'm not so great with stopping by and paying for my space since I never use my RV. Needless to say, I have become use to paying a late fee. The fee is $10 or $25.00 after the 5th and $3.00 there after until the last day of the month. Once the next month roll in you are then charged $25.00 a day. read more

I noticed another review addressing the same problem I had at this facility. I have used and paid for the dump station here several times and the lady who helped us was very friendly and kind. She always had us drive through then park at the dump station and pay her before we begin. Today we went there again, and I stopped at the sign, looked left and didn't see anybody, so I drove around to the dump station to park, and pay as I usually do. When I came around the bend, a blonde lady with her hands on her hips, walked right in front of my RV and stood there, blocking me from driving any further. I opened my window to speak to her and she rudely and aggressively chewed me out for failing to stop. Every time I asked if I could speak now she yelled back "no but you can respect my rules." She chastised me as though I was her child and showed zero respect for me or my wife. I'm an RV'er and spend a lot of money supporting my local businesses and campgrounds. I have never been spoken to in this way. If she would have let me speak, I would have told her the only reason I didn't stop and wait, is because the other kind lady always allowed us to drive around then pay. I'm not optimistic but I would love to speak to the actual owner, and notify him/her a rogue employee is highly caustic and disrespectful to paying customers. read more

somehow my review was removed. i used to be a security officer at night that used to take care of affordable storage property. i worked so hard for doug going way beyond my mean working on holidays and not getting paid they don't even have a bathroom to relieve yourself at night that's how cheap they are. i was told to go in a garbage bag and place it in the trash. i couldn't believe they told me that. catalytic converters are being stolen off the rv the place has really changed i recommend you go someplace else the security officers do not make their rounds they stay up front and don't care about the people's property getting broken into i advise you to go someplace if security is important to you. read more

If you don't stop just right, the lady will yell at you. Mind you the sign to stop is way to the left and you don't see it. If they want everyone to stop and check in they should have an automatic gate to stop people. After I apologized, she continued to yell at me. She had the same exact behavior to others that entered while I was there. read more

The only good thing about this place is that it is near the freeway entrance and they have a good employee named Dee the works there in the afternoons. Asides from that you have to deal with the following conditions. 1. Limited access hours only open from 8-5 and 7 pm during the summer. 2. Poor lot maintenance. Potholes are growing throughout the yard. Concerns have been brought to the attention of the so called "manager" but she claims that there is not much she can do to fix them except add dirt. 3. Dirt and dust gets on everything you store there. As mentioned on number 2, they only add dirt to cover holes and "manager" states ghat owner will not pay to buy and add gravel to the road. 4. Sorage Price raised just about every other year and their excused/reason they always provide is "we are $ less than every other facility around the area" which is fine and dandy, but they forget to mention that most other facilities do maintain their lots and have better access and paved grounds which keep RV or boats clean. 5. Rude management. If you ever have or had to deal with this lady you will know exactly what i mean. She has NO people skillls and does not know a thing about customer service. Spends her time on phone or sitting on her ass browsing the net. I've been there many times and sign in and takes her a bit to realize you are even there. God forbid if she's is on her phone, she won't even acknowledge that you are there until she is done. Do yourself a favor and go there in the afternoons and speak with lady named Dee. She is great and should be running the place. Much more pleasant to speak and deal with. I think if enough of us reach out to the owner or pull our vehicles out. They might get the message. So... picking up an RV today, stairs wouldn't retract and had to have a friend that came with us to drive out to pick up pliers to remove a pin so I could retract it manually and move the RV out. Friend called and say the lady wouldn't let him in which was fine so had my friend drive the RV up front to get to get the pliers, he stopped in front of the dump station so I could hop out to get it and as soon as I got out this old lady came up and starts yapping "oh why you driving with stairs down?" "why you stopping here?" "There no mechanic work allowed in the lot, you have to leave" and literally told me to leave, I almost thought I wasn't paying... but what ever, I kept it classy and agreed so I wouldn't have to listen to some rude old lady I don't know yapping... then she tells me "it's 5mph here" which I knew so I responded "thank you we were going really slow" and she tells me "no, you were going really fast!" at that moment I knew right away that old women has some serious issues... parking lot+gravel+24 yr old class A RV+new RV driver = really fast? LOL I mean FFS come on genius it doesn't add up... Conclusion: would I come back? Most likely not (thank goodness)... probably wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemies... PS. Not all their staffs are rude, the first day we came there was another lady which was really nice, she was complete sweet heart, really polite and well mannered if all their staff was like her then totally wouldn't mind staying and recommending them... unfortunately a lot of times it's that one bad apple that ruins it all SMH read more

Whoever the "manager" is, she is a horrible disrespectful person who aggressively came at us and chewed us out because we pulled around to the dump station which is what the nice lady told us to do last time we went. We tried to tell the "manager" who has "been here for 7 years" that and asked if she was going to let us talk and she said NO YOU CAN'T BUT YOU CAN RESPECT MY RULES!!! THIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY!!! over and over on repeat. Who does that? We were incredulous. She has no right to speak to us, or anyone, the way she did. Two weeks ago I was told 5 RV catalysts converters was stolen. Night time security was made aware to do extra patrols around the grounds. I go back yesterday on 9/12/21 to take my RV out for a day at the beach and the catalytic converters was gone along with another RV. That makes 7 RV catalytic converters cut out of the RV's right under the night time, on grounds security. Security is aware that the thefts are happening and the thieves still get by him. They are paying him the watch our RV's and he ain't doing a very good job. Cutting those converters out in the day or night makes a lot of noise, more so at night. How does the security not hear that? Affordable RV Storage tells me he does 8 rounds every night to check for things like that but I really don't think he is since no one is there to see him do it if at all. The night time security there is a joke. 7 catalytic converters stolen in two weeks and he can't hear a power saw cutting through thick metal ? The staff is very friendly and polite but that night time security is a joke sleeping on the job and getting paid for it while we the customers are having our property stolen. This is unacceptable. They need new security, someone that's gonna actually do the job he's paid to do. That night time security just cost me a $500 deductible on my insurance claim and I'm really pissed about it. I work long hard hours for my money and don't need to spend it on negligence. Just shaking my head on this one. read more

Yes, I was out there to use the dump facility. And I had read that their hours were until 5:00. When I arrived the woman greeted me with a very zealous "oh it's too late to dump"... I said but it's not 5:00. She told me they don't allow dumping after 4:30. I can understand that. Why don't they put that in their advertisement? Why did I travel 35 miles... well 70 there and back and burn up all kinds of diesel fuel... When being under the impression that they are open until 5:00. I guess the owner says it's a standing rule that you don't dump after 4:30. I just like to know where is that standing rule written in your advertising. And also, to have one of the employees just be so happy to tell you that you're not going to be able to carry out the chore you intended to... Really makes me see how little people can be. But then to add insult to injury... To make sure that I didn't whine about it, try to appeal to her good side (if she even had one) or even offer to pay extra... Which I gladly would have. She concocted some crazy story after she told me that you can't dump after 4:30 and I said I came from a long long way she came up with this crazy story about how the last person had just stopped it up and it's not working anyways. That is so insulting to think that people are just so stupid that they will believe that. Anyhow I really wouldn't recommend this place. Also I saw some very bad reviews and they just sort of magically disappeared with substituting the review for the owner putting in his own comment saying we try very hard to be good to people. We recently had to move our trailer because the previous location sold and they were going to put in housing. We found this place after calling several others. Personnel here was very friendly and helpful and they agreed to take same payment we had been making at the other place. Parking is tight but doable. Only complaint is that they do not allow 24 hour access. We like to leave and return in the early morning hours to avoid traffic but cannot do it at this RV park. Otherwise, all has worked out well. read more

After calling around different places I found this place to have the best price in town, the gal there was also very helpful as I am a new RV owner. I was also able to pick my space from the 9 spots at my size available, and I had no trouble getting into the space as the road are wide and the spaces were on an angle. I like how they don't charge you a $20.00 fee for filling out a contract or charge you sales tax. I just paid the move in special price and she also prorated my first month as I moved in on the 6th. Looking forward to referral this place to my friends and getting the referral credit. read more
