I have 50 termite bait stations at my Benton farm that have been in service for several years…read more Betts installed serviced them for over 4 years with no issues. Betts was recently bought out by Orkin. I scheduled an appointment that was for bait station servicing and inspection for termite activity as a precursor to selling my farm. There was confusion when the inspector arrived for the appointment. I was told that they could not inspect the stations as part of an inspection and they would have to be serviced by someone else. In the course of our conversation the Orkin area manager got on the phone, was rude, not understanding, and got mad. What I did not know was that he cancelled my contract without notice. when I called the number to schedule my service again I was told my account had been cancelled and I was unable to schedule the service. I cannot remember the area manager's name but will find out and post another review. This company's corporate mission statement are just empty words. The district manager is unprofessional, uncooperative, and made a bad situation much worse. I never had an issue with Betts, but this company is managed locally by a really spiteful ass!! Orkin is owned and headquartered in Atlanta, where I live full time. My intention is to schedule a meeting with the CEO to discuss this mismanaged misadventure. Hopefully they will show this clueless cowboy the door. Keep in mind that I had already paid for the service that cannot be scheduled. I would stay clear of Orkin.

We signed up for regular monthly pest control with Orkin in Wichita and paid yearly. They were…read morethorough, getting rid of mice in the winter and ants and other insects in the spring and summer. Whenever we had even a slight sign of pests returning, they came back immediately to take care of them and without added expense. Our technicians were knowledgeable and professional. Then we moved out of state on short notice. They contacted us when they saw the house was empty and were prompt to cancel our service when I explained that we had moved. A month later, we received a check refunding the cost for the part of the year we didn't use. We had such a great experience with them from beginning to end that I had to write a review!

We had used this company in the past, so they were the first company we contacted when we needed…read morepest control again. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing. A family member initially contacted the owner and was told they were short-staffed and booked for the week, but that she would call the following week to schedule service. That callback never came. Due to unexpected family circumstances, I took over trying to schedule the appointment. I left a voicemail that was never returned. The following week, I called again and spoke directly with the owner. Once again, I was told they were short-staffed, booked for the week, and that she would call me the following week to get us scheduled. I waited the entire following week. No phone call. It has now been another week, and I still have never heard from her. I completely understand that small businesses can be busy and short-staffed. What I don't understand is repeatedly telling customers you'll call them back and then never following through. If you're unable to take on additional work, just be honest and say so. Customers can respect an honest answer far more than being left waiting week after week for callbacks that never happen. The biggest issue wasn't the scheduling it was the repeated lack of communication and follow through. After more than a month of trying to schedule service, we were repeatedly brushed off with promises of callbacks that never came. Their pricing may be competitive, but in our experience, the lack of communication simply wasn't worth the savings. We have decided to take our business elsewhere.

I had them out to check my attic for pests. A guy came out. I think he was really a bug man and not…read morea pest man. But he went into my attic and checked it. Said he saw nothing. I asked him if he could find any entryways for pests to get in. He said no. He never did give me the free estimate I asked for. He showed me one small hole where pests, like mice, could get in. I had that filled by my handyman. Today I had a dead squirrel in my attic. I had to pay someone $200 to get it out and clean up. One area was sealed where the squirrel got in. Don't waste your hard earned money on this outfit. They are flat out no good.

Avoid these guys. I can only speak for the Bedbugs though…read more I dealt with a bedbug infestation and they did come out several times. Eventually they told me i had to take my paneling down and that is why they keep coming back because they go dormant behind that paneling. I lived in a rental and the rental company told me i had to atleast try their exterminator first and if they also suggested removing the paneling, then we could. That ended up being Arrest A Pest. They came out once, did the heating to get behind the panels and went over the rest of the house... They came out 1 more time but no signs of any activity since that heat treatment. I bought the guarantee from Bedbuginator and he wouldn't give me anything for all the money i spent, i gave them almost 2grand, this was probably 4 or 5 years ago now. I go to review them on facebook and next thing i know, the review is gone. I review again! My post is gone again AND i'm removed from commenting on their page. So i wanted to get these reviews out for people to see. PLEASE DONT WASTE MONEY on bedbugs from this guy. They just dont work. I know 1 other person that used them and bedbugs never went away! Like seriously why do these guys even mess with bedbugs?? Its just very unprofessional for a company to remove your negative review/comments and then stop you from commenting and warning others. It was a simple review, and it wasn't nothing nasty either. They just try and keep their 5 star reviews! For real!
