Affordable just finished a complete overhall of our irrigation system from the valves for 5 zones to new "plumbing" and new emmiters for several trees and many, many shrubs! Sprinklers for grass were OK, but 3 grass zones received new valves as well. I got 3 other quotes. Affordable was not only the best price by A LOT (about one quarter of the highest bidder) but they also started within a few days of my accepting their proposal! Owen and Shawn have now helped me out _three_ times: there's just no one else I'd ever think to call. They get you scheduled FAST, they know what they're doing and they really are affordable. They have what they need with them on their trucks, so they're really in and out like lightning. BUT they take the time to explain what they're doing and how they do it "so that you can try to tackle it if it ever comes up again." Not that their work isn't guaranteed: it is - a one-year warranty (which is as long as I'd ever ask for a drip or outside plumbing issue). I unhesitatingly recommend Affordable Irrigation. We had a system that had been abandoned probably 10-15 years ago. Owen and Shawn not only replaced all the heads, but fixed several blowouts, replaced piping and upgraded us to an automatic system from a manual turn on. Really pleased with the service I got from Affordable Irrigation. Their business has just 3 people (from what I know), so, they are pretty busy year round. Furthermore, without a website, getting in touch with them digitally is a bit tough. However, they do respond to calls/texts, so if that works for you, they are worth exploring. Once you get their responses though...they were great! Owen was clearly busy but, after telling him about my needs (I asked Owen if he could do both irrigation and garden maintenance...but his business only does irrigation system), so he also helped referred me to someone who could regularly come and take care/maintain my garden, too. Owen sent out Shawn to help provide and estimate and Shawn was very thorough with understanding what work needs to be done. He actually spent some time verifying what was working, what options I had, etc, too. Since I already used up all the zones that my current watering system had, I ended up adding a separate timed/automated drip system for my backyard and Shawn helped me get my dripping system set up working for my planters in another area that I already had dripping/irrigation system set up as well. Not only that, Shawn noticed a malfunction of my current irrigation and helped run the timing system and replace another watering head in my existing garden as well. Total time spent was 3.5 hours for 2 guys...at a very reasonable and affordableprices..just like what the business name says!..and I thought the prices were worth it.
