Also when I went to the hospital in Boston i had to retake the initial x-rays because this office did not send them and I was told by that doctor that it would be a quick and easy surgery and that as long as my cardiologist said I was fine then so was he. So nothing has really changed other than this place wasting my time and making me travel to have this done. I seem to have nothing but problems with this place. From the simplest of things like getting information sent to another doctor to the constant back and fourth to try to get a tooth out this whole process has been a big headache. I went in and had some other medical issues and ended up being cleared by too other doctors to find out that after I got the clearance that Dr. Milano still did not want to take out my wisdom teeth. I get being cautious but I've already been told by two other doctors that know more about my condition that I would be perfectly fine to have this done. So now I'm being sent to mass general in Boston for wisdom teeth to be removed. I was told I would get a call from the hospital to set up the appointment but after a week I decided to just call myself just to find out from the hospital that they never even sent anything to them. So I have been waiting in pain for over two months and still have gotten nowhere, and on top of everything it is so difficult to contact them because the business hours are not your average hours.

I fractured my tooth and it was causing intense pain over the weekend, tried to find a dentist on…read moreSunday to no avail and settled for the ER for antibiotics and a local anesthetic to hold me over until my Monday appointment with Aspen Dental. The staff seemed professional, but they waste no time taking any and all of your dental ailments and using them as a reason to politely talk down to you for not having spectacular teeth. They took a full set of x-rays for pain in one tooth. The Doc agreed the tooth needed to be extracted, but the swelling was too high and the pain I'd be in if he attempted it then would be too high to numb, so he'd schedule me back for Thursday (3 days). A few hours later the front desk calls and the receptionist lets it slip that the doctor's holiday plans changed and the earliest he can see me is next Wednesday (9 days). I get being busy, but if you have plans just block they day off. Then if your plans fall through you get to be one of the only places around taking same day appointments and walk-ins, your phones would be ringing off the their VoIP bandwidths. But to tell someone that is in severe pain that you're going to help them in three days, and tell them to wait another week is wildly insensitive. And when contacted about prescribing something for the pain now that I was expecting to wait an additional week, they prescribed some slightly stronger Tylenol. How the desk staff thought it would be appropriate to mention to patients they have to be rescheduled due to the doctors weekend party plans is truly a mystery to me, but this business as a whole has been a horrifyingly stark example of what happens when REAL customer service goes by the wayside. Tooth pain SUCKS... I would not recommend you guys to my enemies. I can however Highly recommend Gentle Dental in New Bedford! The difference in care and compassion here is night and day. The staff at Gentle Dental were very prompt, welcoming, and accommodating. Gentle Dental was able to see me on the original Thursday Aspen had promised and we're able to take the time to re-X-ray the tooth in question, because despite Aspen's very fancy standing X-ray helmet, they sent over some pretty fuzzy scans when I requested my records be sent over. Gentle Dental performed the extraction that day, even taking multiple breaks to re-apply pain meds to ensure I wouldn't feel a thing. Once I was properly numbed, the tooth was out in under 2 minutes. Gentle Dental set me up with the meds I'd need to recover comfortably and quickly, and Dr. Manish Juneja gave me his card with his personal cell number, and asked me to call, even if it was on the holiday, if I was feeling any pain at all.

They said they confirmed and made appointment, but was having problems with my insurance being charged still made appointment. fast forward two weeks later to my appointment two hours before my 2 PM appointment this office calls stating my insurance still isn't being able to be charged. Also, they won't be able to see me. Meanwhile immediately I got on the phone to try to correct issue. Long story short, I finally get my insurance customer service lady on the phone and she calls them personally with me on standby final outcome. They don't except my type of insurance , they are incompetent as secretaries, I hate to see what the doctors do if they allow jerkoffs to work there probably the same way.
