In this case, Daniel Mejia, DMD from Coastal Dental referred me. I knew it would be a great decision because Coastal Dental truly cares about their patients. I decided to check out the reviews from Southcoast Endodontics. The doctors rated very well, but I chose Quan Nghiem, DMD. Sometimes you just get a feeling and go with it, which is what I did. At the end of March I went for my consultation. As soon as I walked in, I had already felt relaxed. The building was very well kept and immaculate. Karen Nunes, the receptionist was a pleasure to deal with. There are times I find that receptionists are not very friendly or accommodating. I have seen them be rude to other patients and even their own co-workers. That is definitely not a good reflection on the people who employ them. After filling out my forms, I was seen by one of the assistants, Karen Casado, who took x-rays. We started talking about different things. I felt like I had been going there for a long time. She was so easy to get along with. Dr. Quan Nghiem then walked in and explained to me what was going to be done. He was very friendly. They scheduled my appointment the following week. When I left, I was 100% confident I was going to be in good hands. I had my root canal done April 3rd. I was fully relaxed. Dr. Nghiem and his assistant Karen Casado did an amazing job. So the place have changed to Gentle dental…read more Today was my 2nd appointment with Dr. Sadhnani, I have to say the first time I went for the assessment I was very worried, going to a dentist is never my favorite activity, but I had to do it, I cracked a tooth few months back and kept delaying it over and over. The first Visit Dr. Sadhnani asked for a full series of X-rays to check the condition of my teeth, and since I have been avoiding eating on the side of the cracked tooth it made things worse for the surrounding teeth, Dr. Sadhnani went through the X-rays with me in details and showed me the work that needs to be done, and rescheduled me for today's appointment. Going in planing to work on 2 teeth I was kind of worried, but Dr. Sadhnani was very efficient and entire procedure went very smoothly with what I would call zero pain at all times, he was always explaining step by step what he is going and how I would feel. After finishing the work I asked if we can go further and have further work done that was scheduled for a 2nd visit, and he was very welcoming to do that as long as I'm comfortable. He totally understood my busy schedule and was very very accommodating. When I returned for my deep cleaning I waited a half hour before even being checked in and another half an hour out back without even being seen or checked on. I enjoyed my experience and recommended that dentistry for years. My son had a recent appointment where he was supposed to get sedated with gas or something so he would lower his nerves. But the owner who made the appointment had an emergency case. Now they treat money over patients welfare. So be prepared to payout to get good care. Also everything is now run by the owners brother who just goes by Sam at the reception area. Of course not his real name but he is not listed under the employee registry so I dont know why he is always walking around in and out of patient rooms in scrubs and ready to help anyway he can. He said he could not reschedule my sons appointment until his brother looked it over. But I felt disrespected after all these years with them and they couldn't even call to cancel the appointment before I got there. I am so upset and disappointed that the owner and Dentist let his brother come into the practice and ruin relationships built over years when he was not here.
