We've been meaning to clean our panels for a while but other projects have taken priority. I came across ShineBros page and reached for a quote and scheduling. Cole was incredibly responsive which is always a great sign. Not only was scheduling a breeze, but Cole arrived exactly when he said he would, explained the process and products he uses, confirmed he is licensed/insured and OSHA trained, and overall was extremely professional and personable. I especially appreciated the before and after photos, the panels look brand new!! We should've called Cole months ago, can't imagine how much energy we could have produced if we did! I took a look at my Enphase app and have already seen a dramatic increase in production. We will be using Cole from now on - do yourself a favor and give him a call, you can't beat the price, it'll take seconds to schedule, and you'll be on your way to your solar system functioning just as it did when it was first installed. ShineBros has other services as well that I will be contacting Cole for a quote for.

Jose at JVS Premier Painting Inc. was recommended to me by the team that replaced our roof. We had a good experience with that roofing team, so I took the recommendation seriously and called Jose. From the first call, Jose was friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable. He provided a quick, no-pressure estimate for the project. As we walked around the house, Jose pointed out certain items and asked for my feedback. He was willing to provide his own advice or options as we went along. Once the project began, Jose remained communicative, and he + his team were always on time and worked full days. We were up against an insane heat wave during this project, and despite the 100+ degree temperatures, this team didn't cut corners or rush. In fact, they were far more thorough than my wife and I expected them to be. The final results truly blew us away. The more we walk around the house, the more we point things out to each other like, "Oh look -- they even painted/fixed THIS." We have a 1950s home that has needed a lot of work. In the last few years, I've had to hire a roofing team, a plumbing team, an electrical team, etc. Of all the teams I have hired, I can say confidently that I have had the best experience with JVS Premier Painting Inc. -- I will be recommending them to anyone who asks. If you're poking around reviews right now and looking for a team you can trust to do things right, and even think about things you haven't thought about/don't understand re: house painting, this is your team. It's a great feeling to put money into a house project and, at the end, say, "Man, I'm REALLY glad I chose that team for this project." You won't be disappointed.

My search for a good & fair priced handyman started in September. My mom rents out her condo in San…read moreMarcos and I live nearby so I help manage it. So whenever there's a problem (ie broken AC, leaks, anything broken) I have to find a solution to fix it. Well, problems started happening in September. My tenant texted me saying there were water bubbles forming in the ceiling, they were on the 3RD floor, and eventually traveled to the 2nd floor (it's a 3 story townhouse). Turns out, the AC line was clogged and the condensation was not draining properly causing it to flood the attic. At this point, I called an emergency plumber to fix it. That plumber came in, put 4 holes in the ceiling drywall, vacuumed the water out, and advised to let it all dry out before drywall can be patched up. After I paid the plumber, the plumber never followed back up with fixing the drywall. So the 4 holes in the ceiling drywall stayed like that till yesterday December 16, 2015.... 3 months. I had plans for my father-in-law to patch it, but he broke his hand so those plans fell through. Then I went to Home Depot in San Marcos one day looking at kitchen appliances and I asked them if they had handymen I could hire and that is how I found Sergio's Construction. Home Depot said that the handyman will contact me, and within 30 minutes, Sergio called. I went an unconventional way of getting an estimate but Sergio was still able to give me a quote. I had pictures of the drywall holes that needed to be fixed, I sent him pictures of it and he came back with a quote of around $1k. I think this was end of October beginning of November. Well, I kept putting fixing it off, then I called and sent another company to give me a quote (they quoted me $2k!!), then I contemplated some more, and finally came around and gave Sergio the ok to do work. I did drag my feet a lot to fix the drywall, but that's a lot of money for me! Sergio was professional. He emailed me a breakdown of the cost of everything, plus he said he could install 2 bathroom vanity lights for me as well. He said he could finish it all in a day as well and he did! I went by yesterday when they were painting the drywall, and everything looked great! I was really impressed with how fast he was and the tenants were happy with the results as well. I will definitely be using him again for any future projects (which is probably very soon, since I need an oven installed and he said they do that as well). Give this guy a call if you are looking for a handyman!
