It seems home owner insurance providers are looking closely at tile/cement tile roofs. Specifically if they have any mildew/algae build up and use that as a reason to not renew. We got the letter and decided to have the roof cleaned. We called So Cal and a few others. Kendricks co had really good reviews and was very competitive. We got a clean-up date for a week later. There is no deposit, just both agreed to price and terms. Ken showed up on time. His rig and equipment is self contained. He set up berms to catch the waste water. Also, set up a pump to direct the waste water into the sewer. My roof is a cement tile and looks like reddish clay tile. Picture a roof 33 years old and never cleaned. So you have dirt, tile aggregate, and green stuff plus water. Just so you know, this is a very, very dirty process. This stuff (crud) with high-pressure water shoots about 15 feet past the roof line. Ken cleaned up real good the stuff that flows down the sides of your house. But you will need to clean your windows and screens after this process. That's just the way it is. Ken did a great job and at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend this company. read more

They did a great job cleaning the roof. The 39-year-old tile look like new. We were able to install our solar panels on top of them without the typical moss and grime on them. The solar installers were very complimentary. Communication with them was great during the quoting and scheduling process. Their pricing was good. Not the cheapest, but less than half of two other companies. They also didn't use the high-pressure tactics some others used when asked to quote. The one thing I would make sure is to ask about payment mechanisms ahead of time. I ended up writing a check instead of using my credit card. That was unexpected. Aside from that, I am very happy with the results and will use them again for both the roof, and to clean the solar panels when the time comes. read more

I called several power washing companies about washing the siding on my house, solar panels, patio covers, walkways and pool deck. "So Cal" was responsive and very competitive in their bid. They kept in touch with me before our scheduled work date and then arrived when they said they would. They did a professional job with their work and protection of property. While there were a few spots missed initially missed they quickly cleaned them when I pointed them out and made sure I was completely satisfied. I certainly recommend them for power washing and would use them in the future. read more

We got our roof done and wanted to get our roof tiles cleaned before we reinstall our solar panels. Reached out to several companies for a quote and So Cal Cleaning Services provided the best quote as well quick response to any of my questions. I needed to get it done before Monday and they were kind of enough to do it on a Saturday. They did an amazing job and super happy with their work. I highly recommend So Cal Cleaning Services if you need your roof tiles power washed! read more

After 6 years, I felt that it's time that we do proper power washing of the house. I contacted So Cal Cleaning Services because of the near perfect Yelp review. :) As usual, Yelp also contacted other businesses as well. From the beginning, I could tell that So Cal Cleaning Services was very professional, polite and careful about their business. They asked for the exact address to check the house so that they could give me an accurate quote. Everything went smoothly and I decided to go with So Cal Cleaning Services. On the day of, Hayden and his friend worked efficiently and everything looked so clean afterward. They were very pleasant to deal with, answered all the questions we had and helped with moving things around and back in place. They are really pleasant young guys that seem to have a good head on their shoulders. I was really impressed by the level of professionalism and the quality of their work. Really really recommend So Cal Cleaning Services to anybody who is looking to clean their properties. read more

Very good work! Easy to communicate with regarding their schedule and what we should expect.

Contacted this company to assist with an insurance airphoto mitigation for my roof. Andy, the owner, was very responsive and extremely helpful with my scheduling and following all the way through with providing my before and after pics along with a letter to provide to my insurance company. His team Joseph and Manuel were so nice. They were fast and efficient. As previously indicated in other reviews, this is an EXTREMELY messy job. The team did their best with the clean up. There was still alot of clay residue from my roof on my yard that will require a good rinse off. This was definitely worth it to stop the foolishness of my insurance company's drop threat. If you have received an insurance notification, this is the company to use for mitigation!! read more

We thank Kendrick and Hayden for their FANTASTIC work on our 3,300 sq. foot roof! Their prompt response and willingness to work on Mother's Day Sunday to help us immediately before our solar installation began the next day earned our business! Our roof is composed of concrete tiles that were the subject of severe neglect over 17 years, never once receiving a pressure washing. Kendrick and Hayden made quick work of such a large job bringing two pressure washers and using the only two hose bibs we have external to our home. We will for sure be repeat customers in the future. THANK YOU, Kendrick and Hayden! read more

So Cal Cleaning Services did an excellent job cleaning my roof and windows. Washed away over 10 years of dirt, grime, and algae growth. Also appreciate that they made the relatively long trek to my home in North County. Definitely recommend and will use their services in the future. read more

Kendrick did an amazing job on pressure washing the old clay roof and hardscapes on my 1988 rental house. He was excellent at communicating and providing a quote before the job and gave a very competitive price. He arrived on time and was very friendly and easy to deal with. He was very detail oriented on cleaning every tile and took photos of one area of concern where the wood under the eaves had rotted over the years, so I could have it repaired. The amount of crud that came off the roof and out of the gutters was impressive. The end result is a roof that looks sparkling new. He even provided before and after drone images (attached) at no extra charge! I highly recommend Kendrick and his company SoCal Cleaning Services and would use him again without hesitation. read more

One of the pre-requisites to our upcoming Tesla Solar Panel install was a clean roof. I called around and had quotes from 650, 750, 1000, 1200 and 2K for our 2-story house. They were near the lower end had an available timeslot that week. Our steep red concrete tile roof of 30 years had green algae, black soot, and a few cracked tiles making it slippery and dangerous to walk on. I went up there prior to assess if I was up for the task but concluded that that was a NO for me dog! SCCS rolled up with 3 guys and a couple of high powered gas pressure washers and went to work. I estimate it was 3 hours of non-stop blasting and probably an hour of cleanup of windows, pavement and fences. They use a drone for before and after pics, were friendly and professional and took credit card payment. Before and after pics speak for themselves. read more

I'm super happy with their work! Very reasonable price, extremely friendly staff and great customer service. Highly recommend! I live in a twin house. I never had roof pressure washing before and didn't expect it to be that messy. My roof tiles were relatively clean, and roof had good gutters. But even that couldn't save from red dust clouds which turned my white stucco walls pink. Fortunately Hayden and his partner washed the wall and pavement. My neighbors refused to wash their half and were not home during wash. Despite all precautions some dust covered their deck. K & H guys were super nice to leave their phone number and return back in a couple of days for additional cleanup with no charge. read more

I recommend this cleaning company without reservation. We have owned this mid-80s home for a couple of years. So Cal Cleaning services cleaned the roof and gutters with outstanding results. Kendrick and his guys did great work at one of my listings. I was amazed at how much moss and debris they were able to take off and how polished the finished product looked. They were out there all day, did great work, were reasonably priced, and provided good communication each step of the way. Also, I asked Kendrick to accommodate another service provider who would be picking up some items that day from the garage and would potentially be in the way. Kendrick went out of his way to accommodate them and make sure nobody got wet in the process. I appreciate that. I will be recommending him in the future. If he doesn't end up beautifying your dingy tile roof, you can be assured that we will be cleaning your neighbor's roof soon and beautifying the neighborhood in the process. read more

Kendrick was punctual, conscientious, and he did a flippin' fantastic job! We have quite a lot of windows in our end unit condo. Every window has a transom above it. He cleaned the tracks and the screens and navigated his really super tall ladder up my stairs to clean the three windows in the staircase. He was super friendly, and I will absolutely have him back in six months or so to clean the windows again! Fantastic job! read more

They were available right away and came out to clean our windows. The guys we're polite but not friendly. They removed their shoes while they were in my house. They said the cleaning included all the tracks, sills, screens, and inside/outside of the windows. They straight up refused to clean one window because it had a pellet hole in it from the previous owner. I realized that my son's window had dinosaur stickers on it after they cleaned it. So I spent a bunch of time removing the stickers and the glue - which I didn't expect them to do. But then the guy came in while I was using Windex to clean the window when I was done, and he handed me his rag and said that it cleans better. Okay. A bit weird. There are several enclosures to the windows that they didn't clean. I could run my finger on it and pull off dirt. They left the screen off of one window and they didn't get paint splatter off of another - which they said they would. When I did the walk through to pay, I mentioned this. They put the screen back in and got the paint splatter. I wasn't upset with them or anything, but I certainly couldn't recommend them in good conscience. They didn't do a good job. read more

Kendrick was very professional. He showed up 10 minutes early, set up, and worked all day. Our house had taken a beating this year with all the winter rainstorms so we wanted to power wash everything. He also cleaned our windows and chemically treated water spots that needed some serious TLC. I feel like we have a new house now. Kendrick also rinsed down our neighbors houses due to the dirty water that sprayed from cleaning our roof. A good guy and fair prices. Thank you for the excellent work. Super prompt and friendly service. Hayden did a fantastic job cleaning our windows - they were spotless. I will definitely use them again.

I can't say enough good things about this company. I needed to get my roof, sidewalks, and driveway pressure washed and was referred to K & H Pressure Washing. My neighbor hired K & H to get his roof cleaned and it looked amazing so I decided to hire them. The owners, Kendrick and Hayden, showed up to do the job. They were very professional. Not only were they punctual, on-time and efficient, they showed a genuine care for customer satisfaction and went above and beyond what my expectations were. They went over the entire procedure and even used a drone to take photos before they began and they also took photos after they were finished. A few tiles were broken, which they pointed out, before the pressure washing began. I have to say that Hayden and Kendrick are extremely hard working and worked their tails off. They not only cleaned my roof, sidewalks and driveway, but also cleaned the gutters, the side walls to the house, repaired the broken roof tiles and cleaned the post drip from the gutters. Whatever spray or dirt that went into the home next door, that was also cleaned at no charge. With so much poor customer service in many of today's businesses, it's reassuring to find a company who backs up their product and most importantly values their customers and satisfaction. They love what they do and it shows. This is how all businesses should be run. To anyone reading this, I highly recommend K & H for Pressure Washing. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Kendrick and his partner with So Cal Cleaning Services did a fantastic pressure washing of our roof and house and washed our windows by hand. We had to get our roof cleaned to remove the moss in preparation for solar installation. Originally, I was planning to just have the roof cleaned but Kendrick offered a comprehensive cleaning of the roof and house exterior for an affordable price. He even helped me with removing an old DirecTV dish - an extra task that I really appreciated the help with. They provided drone before/after pictures of the roof - the roof looks new now! The work was done by the company owners, which I really appreciate, you can tell they are conscientious and really care about doing a good job.
