Absolutely the Best Car Buying Experience!…read more I recently purchased a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie from Auto Haus of Irvington, and I couldn't be happier! From start to finish, Litza, my sales associate, provided impeccable service. She was patient, knowledgeable, and made the process stress-free. Then came Sherry, the finance manager--an absolute rock star. Where other dealers tried to toss out my Capital One loan (9.21% interest) and push me into a ridiculous 14.5% loan with a sketchy bank, Sherry actually worked with Capital One and got my rate down to 8.25%! That's the kind of dealership you want--one that truly has your best interests at heart, instead of their own pockets. If you're looking for a trustworthy, customer-first dealership that will fight to get you the best deal, go to Auto Haus of Irvington and ask for Litza and Sherry. Tell them Calvin sent you--you won't regret it.

Stay far away from Shawn and this dealership. My experience was an absolute nightmare…read more I purchased a van from them for approximately $15,000, put about 75% down, and only financed around $6,000 despite having a 700+ credit score. As I was leaving the dealership, Shawn specifically told me not to answer the bank if they called because he had lied to get me approved. The bank later contacted me with loan terms that did not match what I believed I had signed for, including approximately $30 more per month, four additional months of payments, and thousands of dollars in additional fees. The vehicle itself turned out to have serious issues that were never properly disclosed to me. The transmission had reportedly been replaced shortly before I bought it, and it is now having major transmission problems again. I also later discovered frame and structural damage on the vehicle history report that I was never made aware of. After paying approximately $15,000 for the van two years ago and driving about 20,000 miles, I was recently offered around $1,000 for it. It is essentially worthless compared to what I paid. The customer service was just as bad. I dealt with approximately four months of temporary tags while repeatedly asking for updates about my plates and being ignored. Once they had my money, communication became nearly impossible. When I went to the dealership in person to get answers, Shawn allegedly told me to step outside because he wanted to fight and made threats involving my business and my address. Whenever I tried to get answers, I was met with hostility, profanity, threats, or simply ignored. I feel completely misled and taken advantage of. I would never do business with this dealership or Shawn again. Do your research, verify every number with the bank, get everything in writing, and have any vehicle independently inspected before giving them your money. I strongly recommend staying away.

Before making the trip, I called because I live over an hour away. I specifically asked if the advertised price was accurate and explained that I already had financing through my own bank. I was assured that the advertised price was correct and that using my own financing would not be a problem. When I arrived, I was assigned to a salesperson named Richard. Unfortunately, he came across with a negative attitude and seemed more bothered than interested in selling the vehicle. After a short test drive, he informed me that the price had suddenly increased by nearly $8,000. When I reminded him about our phone conversation and the distance I had traveled, he casually said, "You know how it is--we have to get you in." That was incredibly disappointing. It felt like the advertised price was simply bait to get customers through the door. From there, the focus shifted to pressuring me into financing through the dealership so they could justify the higher price. I declined because my bank had already approved me for a great interest rate, and my insurance costs were already a significant factor. To make matters worse, Richard actually suggested that I insure the newly financed $45,000 vehicle with full coverage just long enough to leave the dealership, then switch it to liability afterward. Aside from being poor advice, that could leave someone without proper coverage and potentially violate the terms of their loan. Overall, this was one of the worst car-buying experiences I've had. If you're considering this dealership, I strongly recommend confirming everything in writing before making the trip--or better yet, shop elsewhere
