He was scheduled to come on a Monday but called about noon Saturday and said he could do it then, that his guys were nearby. They were there in 20 minutes and checked the filter which was very clean so they showed me that there was no need to change it. What they did find was a capacitor which was within a couple days of failing according to their measurements. With our very hot days here on the coast, we have been running the A/C all day, so I considered it a divine blessing that they happened to come before it failed. The entire cost was totally reasonable, and they also cleaned the A/C condenser unit very carefully using the least amount of water possible. Great company - service, dependability, punctuality, professionalism, expertise, price - all the best in my opinion.

Texted Steve Moore on a Sunday afternoon, and I get a return text the next morning at 7 am, asking if I'll be around at all. Since I was working remotely that Monday, I confirmed that I would be home, and he was at my place within 2 hours. He took less than 5 minutes to diagnose the issue and informed me that the Covid-era motors that were built for these Rheem compressors were breaking prematurely. Since my system was still under the 10-year warranty, Steve called the supplier, went to pick up the part, and came back later in the day to get the motor swapped out. AC works again perfectly. When he first installed the system four years ago, he provided a three-year warranty on service. Since this was the 4th year, I expected to pay a service charge for the work. Not with Steve; he waived it. You can't beat this type of personal and quick service, and truthfully, Steve is just a really nice fellow to deal with. You call other HVAC companies, and in the middle of a heat wave, they'll find ways to gouge you. Not Steve. He's decent, honest, and has my wholehearted recommendation. In fact, I have recommended him to multiple friends and neighbors!

In the past this heater had serious issues and would not work after several uses. I had a couple different companies come out and repair it, but within a few uses it would stop working again. I was at my wits end and randomly called tSpecialized Mechanical. I gave the tech the history of the problems with the unit. He did an evaluation and then offered to do additional research on this particular unit I have. He was able to figure out the problem, got the right part ordered, and fixed it.
