The person who showed up was not with sound pest but was with Fikes. He spent all of 5 mins walking through my house and sprayed an aerosol can that costs I believe $29.99. He did not spray in under or around anything. This was also not the description of service that was provided to me through yelp. I called to complain immediately after. I have also called to talk to a Manager multiple times. They always state they will call me back and never do. It might have been a great company before it was sold but do not let the historical positive reviews fool you this is not under the same management as before. Go somewhere else for service.

We'd dumped about all the Raid under the sun at them with no effect. We called to explain the situation and AAA recommended that, given our living arrangements, it would be more convenient and effective if we used different products to take care of the problem ourselves. About a year later now and I haven't seen a single roach since. These folks really have the customer's best interest at heart which I find rare in this day and age. I know I'll be going back to AAA should I have any future pest infestations.

I ONLY wanted the rat boxes done and repeatedly stated to the company that did not want chemicals sprayed around the house. I would tell the workers this the day before to remind them and they still could not follow that simple instruction. Less work right? So, they screwed up many times. The final time was December with another new guy showed up the day after I reminded him, in writing, not to spray chemicals. Guess what, they showed up the next day WITH A SUPERVISOR, and proceeded to spray chemicals all around my house. They also put GLUE traps in my crawl space without asking and I never would have authorized that. I decided to cancel my contract AFTER that and called the company running the comcast-like gauntlet of 'what if we gave you this or that credit'. I declined and asked to cancel and they removed my credit card. I was not informed of any remaining balance. After that, they sent me a bill for the service that they once again screwed up. Keep in mind I paid full price to these guys for years just to have the rat boxes done so I was grossly overpaying and they got way more out of me than they put in. I called them to dispute the bill, they said they would call me back after running up the chain. They didn't. Instead they insist I owe them money for a SERVICE THEY CONTINUALLY SCREWED UP. They are an extraordinarily incompetent company that can't follow simple instructions.

EDIT: THE POSION THEY PUT ON MY LAWN IS HIGHLY TOXIC TO PETS, BIRDS, AND PEOPLE!!!!!! THEY LIE…read moreABOUT THE SAFTEY SEE PHOTO OF PRODUCT LABLE WARNING I was really clear that I did not want pellets used my yard because of their impact on bees, butterflies and birds. Sam Warner, who I spoke to for TWO days understood my needs and wants and reassured me that pesticide granules would not be used and that the technition would only spray inside and the perimeter of my home. Sam failed at his job and was unable to communicate what we had discussed to the technician who DID use granules in my yard. When I called Sam, he was unable to apologize in fact, laughed at me several times. When I asked him to stop laughing at me, he said, and I quote "I'm not laughing I'm chuckling" (said at at 7:38pm on 7/27/26). Instead of apologizing he kept repeating that "no one has ever cared about granules being used" as if that somehow justified him absolutely disregarding the agreement we made and permissions I gave regarding my yard treatment. He also kept saying " You're not my only client I have 300 clients" As if that makes me feel better about the poison he put on my yard and "you could eat it and you'd be fine" which we now know is not true. DO NOT USE THIS AWFUL COMPANY. I can't believe instead of getting an apology I got laughed at. Really horrible that is how Sam talks to female clients. DISGUSTING! Sam told us the technician would be at our house at 3:30 PM. The technician did not arrive until 5:40 PM. Sam forgot to mention that there's a two hour window that a technician can arrive, ridiculous! We had to rearrange our evening plans. DO NOT USE ALTA they will disregard the permissions you give them regardless of how clear you communicate them and they will not apologize to you instead they will be incredibly rude. On the phone with Sam he said AND I QUOTE "what did you expect from a door-to-door salesman" which is really crazy thing to admit but I guess he is right. Learn from my mistake and never use this company. When I called Sam and asked him what granules were used on my lawn he REFUSED to tell me the product name but promised he would get back to me that night but we heard NOTHING FROM HIM (and still haven't). The receipt showed that that two granular pesticide products were used, I have included both product labels as photos. Despite Sam condescendingly telling me the product was "safe enough to eat" and that everything is pet friendly IT IS NOT PET FRIENDLY. AND IT IS HIGHLY TOXIC TO BIRDS. We have a murder of crows that live outside and are also beloved pets, Sam knew that, that's why there was so much back-and-forth with him about what was OK to use on our property. Talked to Customer Service today 7/28/26 and they confirmed that the products used are HIGHLY TOXIC TO BIRDS despite the gaslighting from Sam. IN ORDER FOR THE PRODUCT TO NOT HARM YOU, YOUR DOGS, OR CHILDREN You have to drench your whole yard in "0.5 inches of water" and then let the WHOLE yard dry completely. It is not recommended that you or your animals go on the lawn until that happens. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING WE WERE TOLD THIS IS SOMETHING WE HAD TO LOOK UP ON OUR OWN. Sam kept referring to the technician who came to spray the yard as a "chemist "and that "the chemist" is an expert and would never put anything in our yard that would hurt our dogs. THE IDIOT TECHNICIAN TOLD US THE DRY PELLETS WERE SAFE FOR THE DOGS AND THAT IT WAS ONLY DANGEROUS WHEN IT WAS ACTIVELY WET. That is not true AT ALL. It is very toxic when dry especially when ingested and we have a puppy who is very much in the puppy stage of putting everything in his mouth and a long haired dog that loves to roll around (and would've 100% gotten pellets embedded in his hair and licked them off if we hadn't done our own research) Sam promised me a full reimbursement on the money we spent this evening as well as $50 to have a neighbor "try to rake our yard", and that he would void our contract. Let's see if Sam can make good on those things. I will update if/when he does.

I wish i can put 0* here. I have rodent issue in my backyard and i found out this company on google…read morereview, wish i would have checked yelp before hand. The initial assigned person promised how their bait and strategy is advanced and even have a entire village built to test the poison bait, DO NOT TRUST any of that. I paid $100/month not including several hundreds of dollars in the initial service, all they did is come and replace bait station, when asked to do more to put it under control, the only thing they did is to put snap trap inside the station, nothing more after that. they killed probably 6(visible ones) or so rodents through half year of service, i did that myself within a week with snap trap and poison. Then winter came, the rodent activity got worse, got like 8 rat holes and a collapsed stone tiles. And i told them i saw a rat peaking outside the hole the other day, and the onsite dude told me it could be anything, and if i don't take a picture of it, they wouldn't trust what i said. i mean i subscribed them for the exact service and there are holes all over a corner of my fence, do i look like i subscribed and paid $100/month for fun? Most of all, this is no way to talk to a customer, it takes years to build a trust, and only 1 second to destroy. I was willing to give them 1-2 month to give them one more try, but the dude just told me i should cancel it which i did. and the dude ended up taking away all my bait stations, including ones i owned myself, i thought i paid hundred of dollars in the initial service to get those bait station and baits and $100 per month for those. This is a company that you pay money to them for a service, and they spend more time telling you what you need to do than do it them.
