It's simple, great communication, acted with urgency, was on time, and charged a fair rate. I called on this for pool repair service. I needed a gap sealed off that had opened up in my pool below the deck and near the skimmer. This was not the type of work for a standard pool guy and not a big enough job for the big pool builders. We moved into our new home almost 6 weeks ago and the pool was a hot mess! I wouldn't even touch it, bleh! My husband tried some chemicals and it was a bit better but still no where near where it should have been to my liking. He tried several pool supply companies and lots of advice . We had a problem with the filter so we were referred to Michael and Affinity . The filter needed some work and he got it going. Wow! I regret one thing, and that is not calling Michael from Affinity Pools earlier. Our pool has not been clean for over two months. We have called the all the big companies to come and help and they always gave us dates 1-3 months out. We did have Leslie's come out due to a part being under warranty. The issue was never fully resolved and after having multiple technicians from them come with no help we decided to look elsewhere. We read reviews on Affinity and contacted them. Michael contacted us right away and made his way out to come get a big picture of what was going on. He was out TWO DAYS later. He came on time, he was extremely knowledgeable, he explained everything he was doing, he was professional, he actually looked at every issue in depth, he listened to us, he went the extra mile. He originally quoted us for $$$ but when he got into the root of the issue he was honest and was able to save us money in the long run. Used this outfit for pool inspection on a house we bought recently. No attention to detail or to the pool. Has cost us $1,000's so far to make repairs that we would have asked the sellers to make. Michael's answer: file a claim on your home warranty. These items are not covered, so this isn't the solution. A thorough and honest examination of the pool during inspection is what we were seeking. This would have allowed us to make informed decisions. That is why we paid for a separate pool inspection. When we have approached Michael about our issues, he has been very unprofessional, bordering on rude, each time. Don't use Michael or Affinity Pools for a pool inspection. read more

If you're thinking about using AFFINITY POOLS company, DO NOT! The owner, considers it common practice to cyber-bully and harass his customers. ONE YEAR after his company completed a job and were paid in full, The owner took to texting, email and NEXTDOOR as his forum for personal harassment. This individual was given proof by the banking institution responsible for payment, he participated in three way conversations with banking officials in the fraud department (as this were his terms to cease harassment - which he did not cease) and was assured he did not need to communicate with the client about a matter that was obviously an internal accounting problem within his company or the banking systems utilized. The owner did NOT heed this advise and instead choose to knowingly harass his client with threats which resulted in police involvement. It had come to the point that the courts and police are involved for protection of personal safety of two females without protection other than that of the local police. This is a scary situation for me and my daughter. We are constantly living in fear for our personal safety, persecution and unknown consequences as a result of using AFFINITY POOLS company. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE using this company!!!! read more

My fiancé and I have been using Affinity Pool service for about 6 months now and they have been nothing less than amazing. We bought our house at the end of summer in 2013, it had been sitting vacant for over 150 days. Needless to say the pool was in bad shape. I tried taking care of it myself and going to the local stores to get the water tested and spend a large sum of cash on chemicals and cleaners as well as other equipment. With the combination of different advice and information j got every time I went in the store and my lack of expertise in maintaining a pool properly I finally caved to my fiancé's plead of hiring a pool service company. I found Michael from Affinity Pools through a colleague and gave him a call. After hearing my pools situation he was out the very next day to diagnose it. The water had a green hue and he figured out the problem instantly. He had our pool up and running just in time for my mom to visit from Nebraska. Since then we have hired him to service our pool weekly and have had absolutely no problems with our pool. Michael is always very friendly and professional and never try's to sell us anything we don't need. He takes pride in his work and it shows.
