He SUPER down to earth and does a thorough physical exam. I have been suffering from thyroid symptoms for about 4 years. Been to several doctors and none of them could help me. My symptoms got to a point where I thought I was dying. Was having heart palpitations, EXTREME hair loss, excessive fatigue, random sore spots and bruises on my body, vision issues, rapid weight gain, anxiety off the charts (couldn't get more than 4 hours of sleep to save my life)- you name it. None of the prior doctors could tell me what was happening. And after a while, I believe that they started to disregard my complaints- EVEN after I did my research and TOLD them what I thought was going on. Dr. Launius LISTENED to me- and for the first time in years I didn't feel like the doctor thought I was crazy. After he completed the physical exam- he pretty much assured me the help that I needed. He also said that he would get my hair to stop falling out (as it was falling out by the handfuls- and was so bad, that for a moment, I actually thought that I might have had cancer). I know- an ignorant thought, but paired with the way that I was feeling in addition to the hair loss- that is the mindset that I was in. THE NEXT DAY... his team called me with the results. Sure enough, my levels were low. I got the prescription and was felling better by the end of the first month. Dropped 10 pounds almost immediately. I'm currently in month two- and guess what? For the first time in 4 years, I was able to comb out and wash my hair without any of it coming out. I'm ecstatic! I know hair seems like a small vain thing to most people, but when you start to lose it, it really messes with your confidence. My hair is pretty thin now, and is way shorter than it was 4 years ago- but at least I can now see light at the end of the tunnel. I'm excited for progress and my new hair journey. To top it all off, I feel great. I've never appreciated my health more than I do now. I'm so thankful to have run across Dr. Lanius- a REAL health professional. Just referred my mom and best friend who are having many of the same symptoms. If you are possibly experiencing issues with your thyroid, PLEASE.. go see Dr. Lanius. MRI showed something but I can't remember all I know if the doctor's attitude lacked. A few months later, I called and asked if he would recommend a couple of items to help with my husband's knee pain and I wanted my FSA to cover it and he said he "didn't necessarily recommend" the products so he wasn't willing to help me get them. I was like, ok getting another doctor... that is how I came by Dr Muncy. Dr Muncy listened to me, made some recommendations, confirmed my left knee was probably hurting because it was over compensating for the right knee and then wanted to get me out of my pain in my right knee. He offered a plan to have a steroid injection now and then order Synvisc and when I was ready for it, it would've waiting in the clinic for me. I have osteoarthritis. He was very gentle giving the knee shot and didn't hurt me, took his time, then we went over the plan again and that was it. The reason for the 4 stars is because his office staff wanted me to handle the order of the medicine. Well the pharmacy wouldn't authorize with insurance and for 8 years I have received these shots and the office ordered through insurance and called when it was ready I don't know why they didn't want to take care of it but it took three calls to convince them how to get the injection medicine from my insurance. It's just time consuming to have to take time out to call and get it worked out. If the office staff is able to handle this order I will for sure update my review as I was really happy with the doctor.

This place is the absolute worst. A friend referred me here, but I wasn't able to see the doctor…read morehe's been seeing for years. I agreed to see one of the nurse practitioners and paid the higher fee for my first visit. She was not able to advise me on anything during that visit as she didn't have my bloodwork results yet. I have not been able to communicate with her at all about prescriptions since having my bloodwork run. The doctors do not communicate with patients through clinic's messaging system, unlike many other clinics. Messages are only responded to by the assistants. After much back and forth due to this, it has been almost two months without one of my agreed upon prescriptions being filled. One of my other prescriptions was incorrectly filled. After multiple calls and messages with assistants that were just following a script, the office manager called and insisted that it had been filled correctly and told me to go to CVS to handle it with them. The CVS pharmacist showed me how it was sent in and explained how it was done incorrectly. She tried to call the clinic but only only got the AI system. I have made more calls and sent messages since then. Today the office manager again called and insisted that the prescription was filled correctly, complete with a bad attitude as usual. She then told me I'm being fired as a patient. This is how they deal with their incompetence. This the worst run clinic I have ever dealt with.

If you are wanting someone who sees you within 5 minutes of walking in the door, spends 5 minutes with you and writes you a prescription, you may not be a good fit for this practice. Dr. Perijoc spends time with you, asks a lot of questions and runs tests to determine what going on with you. She writes prescriptions when needed, but she also addresses prevention and suggests supplements to keep you from needing prescriptions. Her knowledge is extensive and she works hard to ensure that you are not put into a box as many providers are forced to do when they have to see so many patients per day to be able to actually make a living. But if you are looking for a quality provider, she is the best we have ever seen. She is careful with your health and works to not over or under treat any condition. I am glad we finally slowed down enough to put our health and that of our kids first. We all see her and all are healthier for it!

For my second visit I called several times and left voicemails that were never returned. I called their second location and they stated the office had closed and they were surprised that the phones were still ringing. Today I needed a Doctor and I called several times throughout the day and the answering machine stated they were closed for lunch. I ended up driving to the location and found a sign stating they were moving. I am looking for a good, dependable, and intelligent physician and Dr Duser is not the one. I am writing this review to warn people to make other choices when looking for a Doctor in the Flower Mound area.
