The ER doctor diagnosed pancreatitis and prescribed pain meds and discharge. I rejected that diagnosis and waited for Dr. Caldwell to arrive. He got to the hospital about a half hour later and had a different diagnosis, a heart attack. A heart cath revealed a 99% blockage in the LAD and I had a triple bypass the next day. He literally saved my life. I cannot recommend Dr. Caldwell highly enough.

Dr. Paturu is one of the nicest physicians I've ever met. He takes the time to really listen to my concerns and then carefully explains everything to me. In fact, I had a question days after my first visit and called his office. Not only did I receive a prompt response, Dr. Paturu personally called me. How often does that happen? The phone is not answered, calls are not returned, follow-ups are not completed, promised text messages for appointment setting are not followed through. I have had to travel quite a bit around my appointments here and it has been impossible to get rescheduled and information confirmed. At this moment that I'm writing this review, I am supposed to be scheduled for a telehealth meeting with the doctor as I am not in town. I did not receive the promised link texted to me and I had to call a nurse who said she would have reception send it (reception did not answer the phone yet again). I have not received the link and my appointment was to start four minutes ago. I was put on the books for this appointment five weeks ago.

It was a very easy process; took about 5mins total. The day of my appointment they sent me a text msg an hour before. You text arrived and remain in your vehicle when you make it to be checked in. When it's your turn you bet a text telling you to come in bring your id and issuance card. I was greeted by staff, offered a new mask and asked the COVID questions. The wait was about 5-10 mins wait time to be called back. Shirley was assisting Dr. Williams for the day so she took my vitals and everything m. She was very upbeat, polite and funny. It took Dr. Williams about 10 mins to come in after that. She was just as pleasant, very professional and informative. She explained everything to me and made sure I understood what my results were and what they meant for me.

He absolutely listens to what you tell him -- he never rushes you out the door and, in fact, continues to ask questions until you really can't think of anything else. He really wants to know what your concerns are. On top of that, he is extremely kind and covers all the bases when helping with a medical problem. When I go back each time he remembers what we talked about (not just things he could read from my file) and shapes his treatment around the whole picture, not just the one thing you need to talk about that day. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a primary care doctor who actually cares about his patients!

Then you listen to the menu. Then you make a selection and listen to music. Then the robot comes back on and says "Your call is important to us. Please stay on the line." Finally, someone answers the phone. You tell that person you want to talk to the nurse. Then you are put on hold for 5 to 10 minutes. The nurse comes to the phone and has to look through some paperwork. She puts you on hold and says she will be back "in a sec." You are on hold for 5 to 10 minutes. Then you are mysteriously cut off. Then you call back and start the process all over again. You are told that the nurse will call you back. You wait 6 hours and call AGAIN. If you need to talk to the doctor, a nurse calls you at the end of the day.
