They put in a walk in shower with only suppose to take a day.But ended up taking almost a week. this was on 4-23. They were lacking the bench and here it is 2-25 and I have yet to receive my bench. My advice is to be very careful with this Company! read more

I worked with Aesop's Gables twice...the first time was for a replacement cabinet drawer and a second time for a replacement cabinet door. Some businesses would neglect or ignore such small orders, but not this company! Both times I received fast, friendly, and affordable service and material. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Aesop's Gables! read more

AZ location went out of business without doing any work however, the loan company they suggested is now asking for money.

I would give this company a zero if I could. Do not do business with this company they will take your money and will not do the work. It has been 5 months they scheduled the appointment and never showed up only to find out they had gone out of business 8/03 in El Paso. Women be especially careful if purchasing services from this company. They bring in their financing and will get paid the same day of the signed business agreement and will not honor the contract. If you have been affected by the fraudulent business practices of this company report to your local law enforcement, your state OAG consumer protection division, and the Federal Trade Commission. read more

This was interesting. They finished up the project and the addition is actually good quality. But hearing things through the grapevine, I can't legitimately give this above 1 star. If you bail on your clientele it's an automatic 1 star from me. Steer away from the Lindfoot's!!!!!!!!! read more

BEWARE!!! This is a scam outfit. they will get you to take out a loan for window replacement, then take the money and run. SCAM SCAM SCAM! DON't do business with these creeps!! ZERO stars!! Thieves!!! read more

my business is your priority? seriously? I signed a contract in good faith to have my shower replaced... you had me sign for a loan with the bank YOU said you work with then took the money and disappeared... now I've got the bank harassing me for their money... the address showing isn't valid... the phone number isn't valid... rate you? you get a negative from me... taking advantage of people... shame on you! read more

SIgned contract for windows with them July 10th 2023. Haven't heard anything from them since July 18th. Finally made contact with the salesman through some personal contacts. This place fired their whole windows department in August without ever notifying their customers. I've paid almost $17k for windows that this company has no intention of ever delivering or installing. They refuse to answer or return calls & emails. Anyone know good lawyers in ABQ? read more

I paid for my large window, in full, on March 22, 2023. They never retun phone calls, No one answers during operating hours. and it is now middle August. I will never do business with them again! horrible service. read more

We ordered windows and doors last Oct/Nov (2022) were told it would be 4-6 months due to supply chain issues. Now going on 9 months, no real contact, no real progress.. Yet I am PAYING for the windows and door EACH MONTH while they sit on their %$%^$'s doing what exactly? If you can't deliver windows, give me back my $$ and I will go with a company that can ACTUALLY deliver.. read more

Daniella was great always calling once a week to let us know what's going on with the window took some time but even if I didn't answer she left a voice mail which I appreciated when they finally came to install the window Scott and Eziekiel were very Kind and they even went the extra mile to paint the frame to match my other windows the other guys that did the plastering after Scott and Ezekiel installed my window did a great job as well. Its kind of scary when you finance something in advance but they sure did deliver and workers there honor their word unlike some others so I think this is a great company out here in El Paso if you want to install windows. Hope this review help someone looking where to get their windows. Thanks again Asaeops gables! Reviewed by a very satisfied customer. read more

Aesop's Gables - Kitchen & Bath Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Never finished stucco job. Refuses to complete work. Made a mess and never cleaned it. Also left hundreds of pounds of cement bags on my dining room floor. read more

I'm sad that they appear to be closed now. This was one of the first businesses I contacted prior to moving to ABQ. They were speedy and efficient in installing extra cabinets into our house, and all the knobs and handles for our cabinets. They were fairly priced and offered a wide variety of options. read more

Ordered a bathroom shower redone, paid $14,000.00 and it shows on the contract that is was paid to Aesops Gable. They have torn the shower apart, put up two walls and disappeared. It's been torn apart for three weeks and no one will call me about it. I've been given phone number after number, been transferred all to a voice mail (this has all been at least 20 times) and have been hung up on and still no response. They didn't even have all the fiber glass parts to finish and the project manager told the installer "to work with what you have, instead of getting the proper material. Worse company ever. read more

We purchased windows in May 2023 from Aesop's Gables and then they silently dissolved that portion of their company without any communication to us. Did they cash the check we wrote for our windows in full? Yes. Heart breaking experience for our family. read more

They took $6,950 from us!! Beware! We know of 7 others that have been scammed by David and Monica Linfoot. They have countless business names registered. Do your research. Their contract we signed in July had a fake license number. They aren't even licensed in our city. We know of at least $100k these thieves have stolen from customers. They are also known as Bath Planet, Xmplar, Renewal by Anderson, Axiom Solutions, Granite Transformations, and AG Big Cowboy Construction. There are probably more. We have found people stiffed in New Mexico, Arizona, California and Texas. SCAM!! Aesop's Gables was reputable for over 30 years and then the owners sold the business to the Linfoots. It went downhill from there. We have unearthed so much information. It's sick. David and Monica Linfoot's companies are being charged in New Mexico. See attachment. After he was charged, Monica Linfoot opened a new company called AG Big Cowboy Construction. Bad news. They will steal your money. If you are a victim, please feel free to reach out to me. We have done tons of research. read more

If this is the same company that operates under Aesop's Gables in El Paso, TX, and handles Renewal by Andersen windows, I tried calling the Albuquerque phone number on multiple occasions to verify, but this company does not answer the phone or return calls, so I think it is the same entity since they exhibit the same poor customer service. Therefore: The installation guys are great, but the company and it's management, at least for the El Paso location is the WORST I have ever experienced. Made a down payment of $45k in April 2022 and window and door installation was finally completed 6/15/2023. Over 14 months when the quote said 4-6 months. They sent the same guy out twice to do a template for the door and when it arrived it was the wrong size. The installation crew had to make field modifications to make it fit and the stucco guys did a good job of hiding the measurement errors. Then they had the gall to demand payment 30 minutes after the stucco guy finished painting when I was at work and had not seen the finished product. They could not wait one damn day for the rest of the funds even though they sat on our down payment for over a year. That makes me think they have serious financial difficulties and I would NEVER do business with them again. read more

Steve Alfaro has been my go to person and has been awesome to work with. He has jumped through hoops to get our work order completed, and made some great recomendations for additional needs, such as counter tops and other items we are needing to complete a renovation of our guest house. I have appreciated the integrity of this company by doing what they say they will do, and getting it done. Thank you. read more

I had them recommended thru Angi for a kitchen remodel. They called and were happy to set up an estimate appointment but didn't show up or call, twice, after I gave them another chance. They apparently use a call service as no one answers and the voice mail is not returned. Definitely a red flag on service and one not to use. read more

We are in need of a shower renovation for our master bath and Mike McCoy was sent out to help us with the re-do. Mike is a total professional. He knows his business and we feel extremely fortunate to have him guiding us through this process. He was completely honest when it came to what we could or could not have and he also provided excellent suggestions for modernizing our 20+ year old shower. He worked with us on the cost and gave us every break and discount possible and we truly appreciate that as we are on a fixed income. I can't recommend him highly enough and if you are in need of anything done by Aesop's in Albuquerque, I would advise you to ask for Mike McCoy directly. Very happy customers! read more

I recently took out a loan for $25000 dollars to have my stucco redone and my doors replaced. This was through Aesopes Gables who merged with Aestheic windows and doors. I took this loan at the end of May 2023. We are now in October. The guys came out and did my doors. Super great guys, and the stucco guy came out same day and said they would start the next week. That was the end of August. Well, the day they came to do my doors was the day they were merging. They knocked out stucco to put the doors in and left a opening all the way around the door. I was not worried cause I knew they would fix it when they came to stucco in a couple days. I then got a call that I needed to finance the $6000 left through a different company than I had already been approved through cause they no longer work with the other company. I explained that they left my house exposed to the weather, not to mention we were having this done to prevent damage to our home. They sent someone who filled in around the doors with concrete and left. Now around my doors are gray and my house is still brown. I only purchased the color of door I did because the house is supposed to be stucco and painted gray. I let them apply for the loan and I was approved. That was the last I heard from them in 4 weeks. I have left numerous messages and no one gets back to me. I guess my next step may have to be to take legal action. They already have $25,000 that I am paying on and I can not get in touch with anyone. I am very disappointed with this company and I am not the only one having issues since they merged companies. read more

This was the company that installed cabinets in my newly built home. I've now been waiting for over five months for them to complete installation of the last set of shelves. After much calling on my end, they finally scheduled an appointment--they then came on the WRONG day. So, we rescheduled. They came AFTER the appointment time, when I only had fifteen minutes left to be at home. Turns out they didn't even have the correct measurements. So I rescheduled again. I called them at the start of the appointment time, and they confirmed they would come and would also call me ahead of time to notify me of arrival time. By end of appointment window, still no worker and no call, so I texted the scheduling guy. No response. I ultimately sent an angry email to them, and then quickly get a text from them stating that the worker had been here, knocking on my door for twenty minutes. I do not believe them, as I was sitting near the front door the entire time, and my dog would have gone bananas as he does anytime anyone even drives down our driveway. So, now scheduled for the fourth time, and not holding my breath. Horrible service, and most likely lying to cover their asses. read more

Absolutely the worst cabinet company in Albuquerque. All the sales staff has quit and no one knows what is happening or who is doing what. The manager is never there, always away somewhere else. We have been working on getting cabinets from them for over a year. Said the installation and renovation would be done in a week. Cabinets just came in, and we are told we May have the installation completed by Sept or Oct 2022!!! The manager should be there all the time so that when situations like mine can be resolved right away. Let the buyer beware as the saying goes. When an entire sales staff quits, there are issues with this company. read more

Our neighbor recommended Aesop's Gables to me and my husband. e have been considering replacing our cabinets and counter tops in our kitchen (it was long overdue), and went down to the Aesop's Gables showroom to get some ideas and ask questions. I have to say, from the moment we walked into the showroom, until our beautiful kitchen was done, we were treated with the utmost respect and had such a wonderful experience. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and showed us many different options, making it easier to narrow down what we liked and didn't like. The installers were polite and made sure we were happy with the final product before leaving. I highly recommend Aesop's Gables for anyone looking for new cabinets, countertops, doors, or closets. I'll admit, I've driven past this place a thousand times and merely noticed the cowboy out front. When you need cabinets, STOP at the place you also have driven past on a daily basis, and go see Barb! Planning a kitchen from top to bottom was an overwhelming task, especially with the insane prices of good cabinetry. Aesop's Gables not only blew away the competitors with their incredible prices, but my designer Barb really went above and beyond in helping me put together a dream kitchen. The final product looks like it came straight out of a magazine and cost me about half of what you'd think. I got better quality cabinets than the big-name stores at a better price, and fabulous personalized service you can only get from a small business. Not only did I happily give them the kitchen contract, but I also had Barb design all of my closets. From my first phone call all the way through to the completion of the projects, I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. Thank you, Barb and Aesop's Gables, for giving me a beautiful home! read more
