First time in this store, it smells fresh and heavenly! My sister purchases her hand soap here, she loves it!!! Staff is friendly, they offer hot tea to drink, they spray their customer bags with a nice fragrance. I was given samples of my choice, the body scrub, I LoVe it, will be back to purchase!! They are right across the street from Face Haus. Metered parking.

Such amazing customer service. I went in today to purchase the poo drops as a cheeky gift for a friend and in my attempt to take a bunch of things from my car to my apartment in one trip I dropped the glass in my driveway and shattered it. I called the store to see if they would replace it for me since I bought it that day and they did with very little back and forth or drama. It's such a hard time to be working retail in stores, and I so appreciated that the staff was so helpful and understanding, even when it was my fault that the accident happened. Will definitely continue to shop at this location.

Downtown Aēsop is the Aēsop for me, but I like to check out other Aēsops when I'm in the area. It's not cheating if I don't buy - just a little harmless flirting! Downtown Aēsop, baby, you know I loves you! Don't get mad at a man for just looking! The Third Street Aēsop is small, bright, breezy - a much more typically "L.A." store than either Downtown or Silver Lake. (I haven't visited the other three as of yet.) it fits in with the West Third vibe perfectly without trying too hard like some places. (I don't want to say Le Labo, but let's just say it rhymes with "De Dabo.") The service at the West Third Aēsop is the one thing I don't love as much as the Downtown or Silver Lake stores: Pauline, the manager, is amazing. She's one of the best Aēsop specialists around. But on my last visit, she wasn't in, and the service was just... cold. Like I was intruding. I felt like the sales associates were just waiting for me to go. And so I did. Aēsop will always score high in my books, but after my last trip to the West Third Aēsop, this particular store isn't hitting the tippy top.

    Two products from Aesop.

The first thing I want to bring to your attention is HOW MUCH BLIND BOXES there are of various kinds. You've got some for newer popular anime series to older classic favorites, to several miscellaneous but ultra cute original characters (I'm looking at you, Baby3)! Watch out for end of season sales, although I'm not sure how often these happen, but I was in for a treat the last time I visited in mid-February. They had up to 50% off on select items, and they did not disappoint! One final piece of advice, other than if you're trying to avoid the crowd to arrive at opening hours and avoid the lunchtime, is to BYOB! This means bring your own bag (not booze)! Trust me, you'll wanna thank me later. :) I do recommend a bigger tote bag if you have one at home. The store does provide you with bags, but when your haul gets big/heavy, a nice tote will make carrying all those blind boxes A LOT easier. I went to 3 other merchandise stores including a Final Fantasy popup and ended up chucking everything in my one medium to large canvas tote. My palms thanked me for it. I'll include a picture of next haul since I wrote this review later than intended. Happy shopping!

The shop itself is on the smaller side, but they really pack a lot into the space. They carry a little bit of everything from snacks and blind boxes to household items and stationery. There's also a huge selection of Sanrio and anime merchandise, so it's a great place to find cute collectibles or small gifts. Whether you're shopping for yourself or looking for something fun for someone else, chances are you'll walk out with something. The staff has always been friendly during my visits, and while the store can get pretty busy at times, the overall experience is still enjoyable. Prices are fairly decent for the area which is definitely a plus. If you happen to be in Little Tokyo and enjoy browsing cute or quirky shops, I'd definitely recommend stopping by--it's worth the visit!

My family and I made a short stop at the Little Tokyo Mall in Los Angeles early one Saturday…read moremorning, just prior to leaving for Las Vegas. We were interested in stopping because it was our first time there and wanted to see it, however, we only had approximately one hour to explore. The shopping center wasn't too busy yet since it was so early, but also most all of the stores were closed as well. We did not get the complete experience of everything that this mall offers. A couple of bakeries were open when we visited and I am glad that we stopped! They allowed us to get some sweet treats and pastries, and they actually became one of the highlights of our trip to Little Tokyo! Although some of the stores weren't opened yet, it was great just to explore the area! All of the storefronts at the mall and surrounding Plaza were decorated for the holiday season. This brought an extra layer of charm to the shopping trip and helped create a cozy, festive ambiance! The quietness of the early morning hours created a amazing environment for us to walk through and enjoy our short little excursion to this beautiful shopping center! Although my visit was brief, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would love to go back again, but next time during afternoon or evening hours when all the shops are open so I can finally see everything the Little Tokyo Mall has to offer!
