Peter then recommended an A/C brand, including the number of BTUs. He also gave me the model number, and then quoted the price, with delivery charge and tax The A/C he recommended is functioning very well (it is EXTREMELY quiet, just as he said it would be). Yaaay! The biggest and best "plus" is that it has a timer that I can (do) set, to have the unit turn itself on --about an hour before I arrive home. I started having problem with my stove at home in November. The broiler worked, but the oven…read moredidn't. So I called Jim Gaita. He said he would be glad to come take a look. I was hoping to have it repaired, instead of buying a new stove, in order to save money. Jim came out, told me it was probably some part that was broken that needed to be replaced. He charged me $220. He told me my oven was fixed, and then went on his merry way. A few days later when I used the broiler, it wouldn't turn off. I had to unplug the stove completely, because there was a loud beeping sound. I called Jim's number, but got a message that he was in Florida until February. I decided to wait for his return. I left a message for him, asking him to call me when he got back. I got a call from his wife, stating that he was in the hospital. So I waited a few more weeks. Today, I finally got in touch with Jim Gaita. He told me that even though my stove broke the first time I used it after he "repaired it", it wasn't his fault and there was nothing he could do. He flat out told me, "I DON"T CARE". Absolutely horrible customer service! I'm out $220 and now have to go buy a new stove. Avoid this horrible person and the crummy "work" he does. I understand he's got health issues and is probably burnt out from all his years in the business, but giving me at least a partial refund would have been a show of good faith. He clearly has no interest in providing quality service at this point. He's looking to make as much as he can before he retires. STAY AWAY! I'm going back to All Home Appliances.

Hope there's no line, which there generally isn't in the early a.m. Front exit area staff will direct you to one of the available Self Checkout kiosks. Unfortunately, no manned cashiers any longer. Upon checkout, the line was kind of long, but it moved quickly. They had multiple registers open, and the team members working were quick to get everyone out a quickly as possible. I know HD experiences can be hot and cold, but I was impressed with my experience here. The store was clean, well staffed, and before I knew it we were out the door. I wouldn't hesitate to return here for my home improvement needs.

All of my questions were expertly answered, and each step in diagnosis was perspicuously detailed. Informed by years of experience, Ijjumaa's chain of deduction and reasoning flows effortlessly. By the time he reached his conclusion, I felt no surprise and had a pretty good idea of the range of costs i faced. After clarifying my choices, he explained avenues for resolution and their practical (part options, time and logistics) and financial ramifications. He suspected that the $150 part (plus labor) was malfunctioning temporarily, having been frozen. Where Dockery's might have charged me for a part that was not working before removing it, they chose to invest in my trust by reinstalling the part and recommending a procedure to follow after he had left and the fridge had completed it's defrost cycle.
