Terrible "temp" agency. I called a few months ago after having my resume and cover letter professionally done. After being passed around on the phone to a variety of recruiters, I was finally able to speak with a woman named Annie. She basically told me that she couldn't help me find an entry level temp job because I was a "transition employee." Since I had been in a different industry for over the past decade she told me that I was better off looking for a job on my own and that they couldn't help me. Nice attitude for a company that is THEIR job to help employ people. read more

It's funny almost every review on here is a bad experience, but they all have something in common, they probably didn't get placed. Let's get a few things straight, this is a agency. There are hundreds of different agencies in the bay area, and they all provide a service. No company that provides a service will get perfect ratings. People are always easy to say negative things, but how many actually say good things? (This post is a prime example) They're not successful unless they are putting people to work. I'm sure they run into a ton of people every day, is everyone deserving of a job? With unemployment being so low, can anyone honestly say everyone is willing to give it 100% and make a living without an excuse? I contacted Aerotek right out of college, as well as a few other agencies, no names. I was always skeptical about agencies because I always thought it would be temp. I was in contact with all 3. The other agencies had jobs available and wanted me to go to work quickly, which was great! I needed a job. However, I wasn't too interested in the positions they had. Not once did they ask me what my major was, or what I wanted to do. In my mind, it was only going to be temp regardless. Then there was Aerotek, I was assigned to a recruiter, Julio. He was always in constant contact with me, which was surprising. He got to know me, and found out what I liked to do. I met with him at the Alameda office. I went through the back entrance. Everyone was nice and lively, seem like they were a cool office. Julio and I sat down, chatted about me and my hobbies, and my goals and interest. He then presented me with a few opportunities, and gave me the option to chose from. OPTIONS! Who doesn't like options? The other agencies didn't do this. I was blown away from this whole experience, it really changed the way I felt about staffing agencies, but Aerotek overall. I ended up not taking any of the opportunities Julio presented to me. I ended up taking a position with another company internally. But still to this day, I have nothing but respect and admiration for Aerotek. They left a great impression on me, and I would not hesitate to contact them if I ever were looking for another position. Julio actually still reaches out to me every now and then to see how I'm doing. He actually linked one of his partners with my brother, and got him in a job at a local hospital. The service I've received from day one has been amazing. Don't let all these negative reviews turn you away. I did my research, and Aerotek is one of the top staffing agencies in the industry. Not everyone is going to get a job there, there are some lazy individuals out there that won't be worth anyone's time. If you're looking for a agency, I would HIGHLY recommend giving this one a try. I wasn't disappointed. read more

Being from Southern California I needed a change, I was in between jobs and considering moving up north since most of my family lives there. I called Aerotek since they are popularly known even here in the OC and got in touch with a very professional woman Sandra Gonzales. She helped me understand my options and the hiring process. We kept in contact for a few month constantly touching base as to the possible employment matches for myself. I wasn't ready to move up north quite yet but if I am ever in the need I will be looking for Sandra! Thank you Sandra! read more

I've heard about many different agencies out in the Bay Area but Aerotek has helped me and is such a great company. They have a great atmosphere and it seems like many of the employee's enjoy it along with great benefits. Aerotek has helped me with my experience in the work field, as well as, my friend Vanessa Yurong who also happens to work for the company. She has spoken to me about numerous great things about the company and has been an awesome help especially going out of her way and providing great customer service. I would give her an A++++++++ if I could!! Thank you so much, Vanessa!! read more

Just began my job search. I spoke with a recruiter (Amanda Eckford) to schedule a time to chat the next day over facetime and she even sent me over a confirmation email. Its been over 1 hour and I tried emailing her and giving her a call, but no response. I've never had such a bad experience working with a recruiter and the recruiting firm. I would not recommend. Also, it seems like every time I try to reach out with questions, she never at her desk. read more

This is going on STALKING now !! called me twice this week alone, when I dialed that number back, all I get was ring, ring and more rings, no voicemail just the phone keep ringing, ringing and more ringing. this is probably the phone on the very corner of a room or office were no one sit, or probably a conference room were they do stalk and harass other fellow or future associates ! And look at those new yelp reviewer! they must be recruiting new ones ! Must be that time of year ! we shall see, I will continue to update ! read more

I have had poor experiences with Aerotek in the past but was willing to work with them again since Yohanna called and he was really caring and helpful. He connected me with opportunities where I interviewed and almost got hired at one. The thing that impressed me about him was the fact that he listened and was genuine in his suggestions. This really helped me improve my job interviewing skills. However, his teammates who also called me were really quite rude and often made me feel like I was on trial when I had to explain my job history. I've contracted before with other agencies and they gave me attitude about it, but Yohanna was not like this, which is why I wanted to write this review to thank him for his hard work. Anyway, I found out Aerotek let Yohanna go and I think that's a deep shame since he was the only reason why I even bothered to connect with them. Seriously, Aerotek needs more recruiters like him. They need recruiters who care and are willing to listen to their potential and current contractors. Aerotek also needs to update their communication systems since they constantly want me to send in references and my resume. Other agencies don't have this problem. With all this said, I am giving Aerotek a 2 star rating (which is higher than my previous 1 star rating, thanks to Yohanna) because I expect better from such a successful and big agency. read more

I had never used a staffing agency before, so i was a little apprehensive about starting. I was working a job for the county and although we knew it was just a temporary job, they never told us the end date. so as i began to get suspicious, i finally found out they would end the assignment in a day or 2. I called Aerotek (after having set up a profile with them about 4 months prior) and told them my situation. my worker (Maureen) was amazing. She had me come in to meet with her, by the end of that day i had an interview with a hospital that following tuesday... I GOT THAT JOB!! so within two weeks i started. it was such an easy transition. it all happened so fast. So far I love Aerotek! read more

Thank you so much to the team at Aerotek! I've used them in the past and after having been out of work for a year to attend school I reached out yet again. I've been working with Brian and have been so pleased with both his kindness and attentiveness. I am ever grateful for the time he's spent reviewing my application and recommending me for multiple jobs (that I actually like). Greatly appreciate the assistance and looking forward to furthering my career goals with them in the future! read more

Kelly is the absolute BEST! I had a good experience with this company and I would definitely recommend them with help finding employment. Everyone that I interacted with was professional and helpful. I was placed at very known hospital and the job was great except the management. I was able to feel so comfortable with Kelly and telling her my issues at work. She was supportive and positive about everything. Needless to say I've kept in contact with Kelly over the years and I've sent many people they're way and she has helped them as well. read more

I've worked with Aerotek before and my recruiter was Vanessa Y. There have been other agencies that have tried to help me find placement but were not very successful; They wanted to send me anywhere and everywhere for work and lacked communication. Vanessa was the first one to really find me a job that aligned with what I wanted to do long term. After Aerotek helped me find placement, I was able to get experience in the field of work I wanted and transition into a role with a company I will probably retire with! Thank you Vanessa and the Aerotek team! read more

I, wish I would have read the reviews prior to allowing this company to waste my time. I was very clear to Jessica that previous recruiting agency just schedule your time and then you never hear back from them. Prior to evening meeting Jessica she stated she was going to contact my references. I stated that she hadn't even met me yet! My references are CFO and COO and I didn't want her wasting their time unless she had a opportunity for me. I went in to meet with her and four days later I, still had not heard a word form her. Please don't pass up another opportunity to waste time at Aerotek. I applied for the same job on the company website that I applied with Aerotek in the first place. Got a call from the company the next day. If I had not follow up with Jessica. I would have never heard back from her and allowed this company to waste my references time. read more

These folks sat on my resume for something like three years. Then pow they call me up and claim they've found something perfect for me. And for the most part they were correct. After a lengthy conversation with one of their staff it definitely seemed like a go. Oh did I mention they called me at six at night. So after getting my hopes up. And figuring I've got his in the bag so to speak. The staffer asks me if I can come in the next morning. I explained that I have a prior commitment the next morning and can't break it. She then tells me it's time sensitive. Huh? She then explains that the company they're working for would be holding interviews the following day after the interview at the staffing agency. She flippantly tells me she has other people lined up for the job. I'm sorry but that's so not fair. And blatantly rude. You don't have the right to dangle a job opportunity at the last possible moment like some carrot and then pull the rug from under people because you mismanaged time. Time sensitive? Really. This was for a long term contract. Why would it be time sensitive? One day notice? Go ahead with your stack of resumes and go fly a kite with them. read more

Aerotek was a lot of help when it came to find a job, the people in the office is real helpful & they get you the best option for you when it comes to your resume. I've worked with many different agencies but I've worked with only two ladies from Aerotek from 2011(was hired permanent, same year) until 2018 and both have been nothing but great. I was placed in my current position by Ms. Jessica Chak and she's awesome! From the time we spoke before my first interview(on a Saturday, she's dedicated!) to when she just calls to just say hi and make sure everything is still going good and that I'm still happy. A lot of recruiters don't go that extra mile once they place you, if they place you at all. So, I appreciate all the extra steps that Jessica takes to ensure that my placement is a great fit for me and the company. Thank you Jessica!!! read more

It's not very hard for me to get jobs. I do very well on my interviews and usually get offers. My main complaint about Aerotek, is that out of the last two times I dealt with them, they had me under the impression that both jobs were full time. I specifically asked each time for full time work, and they promised me they only would call me if they had one lined up. My colleague at my current job told me she heard I was looking for opportunities and to call Aerotek for a position at Kaiser. She said "it's a full time position." So I called Aerotek and talked to the recruiter and specifically told him over and over again that I only want full time work. He agreed with me. He pitched me this, "Kaiser is hiring for full time, but they only pay $18/hourly. Which is $2 less an hour than what you're currently making but it's full time. Are you interested?" Because I have a bachelor degree in Health Sciences, I said "$2 less an hour wouldn't make a difference if I get full time especially because I need something in the health care field." So we went through the process, assessment testing (I passed), resume, etc. A couple of days later, the recruiter called me to let me know that Kaiser wanted to interview with me. So I went, and at the interview I found out, "This is a part time position, you are guaranteed 20 hrs. weekly, and you're not guaranteed permanent employment but do have a chance if we have openings." We took a break after the first half of the group interview and I almost left after they said that. But my professionalism is way too important to me and I didn't want to leave them a bad impression of me so I stuck by the interview and completed it anyways. This interview was brought up at the last minute, my bosses gave me a hard time getting the day off. Anyways, I ended up getting offered the Kaiser position but I declined. I had to use my sick leave hours to go to this interview and it was a waste of my time/money etc. No, I didn't want to travel farther from home to interview for something I specifically said I didn't want. This isn't the first time this happened. I currently work at Netflix, I was told it was full time only to find out it wasn't. The first time, I wasn't as upset though because I was just a new grad wanting anything at that point. But to say something is one thing when it's not isn't cool at all. Aerotek I understand you guys make money for every person you recruit, but by you leaving out the details and steering the person all wrong makes you look careless and money hungry. I will never deal with you again. read more

I was called by Carley May 31 asking if I was still looking or on the market for employment which I advised her yes. She had an opening June 2nd which happened to fall on my birthday. I accepted and confirmed for that day anyway. ( still have to conduct business birthday or not ) The location can be a bit confusing when using Google maps however I made it on time ! I met with Carley and her colleague. We walked through my resume and discussed what type of pay I am looking for etc. I was then told by her colleague their client was looking to hire at this time and I would be a great fit and to provide 3 references contingent of employment which I provided during our interview process. Come Monday morning I follow up with Carley left a Voice Mail no success. Called Tuesday morning checking the status left message again then I received a email from Carley stating " Unfortunately there are no openings at this time " this is when I become frustrated. I called her immediately once I read her email and no response. Then I get an email from Carley again stating I will forward your info to my regional manager in San Ramon. When you're in this type of business as a recruiter chances are, avoiding phone calls will not get you far. Invest your time wisely. Once I read the negative reviews not just from this location but across the board I still decided to give them a try. BIG MISTAKE. They sound excited to help you bring you in then you find yourself in the same position. Finding out, they do have production numbers to meet, I was just another appt they can use to show they are reaching out to working professionals. As of June 8th did her regional manager reach out to me ? NO. Never again Aerotek. read more

I worked with a recruiter named Monica and she was so helpful. Asked me for my goals and what I'm actually passionate about and that made me feel more comfortable about working with a temp agency since I have never worked with one before. It's really nice to know that someone is helping you get a job and prepping you for the win, never really worked with a recruiter before, so I felt really supported and empowered to do well in my interview. I got the job and she took me out to a celebratory lunch, really went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend Aerotek to anyone at any level. read more

Thankful for Jamie Miller for reaching out to me and working with me throughout the process in landing a position!

They found me. At first, It was like a dream come true (HA!) They handled everything for me, I barely had to do a thing for the fantastic new job I have now, except show up for the interview. Once I was hired, things started going south. First, the 'orientation' process went sideways. I was told to take a whole day off (really awkward when you're still employed) for a 30 minute visit. The staff didn't know what my new position would be or how to 'orient me'. The agent who was supposed to take me through this process wasn't even around. I was signed up for a higher-than-necessary background and drug screening process, that wasn't ready, and sent away, then called back, then sent for the proper processing I got through it, started working and...they promptly forgot me. I'm only a day shy of a month overdue for the end of my contract with Aerotek (whereupon I would become a full fledged employee of my new company, finally earning PTO, sick leave, and other benefits) and NOBODY has gotten back to me in 25 days of trying to reach my agent, or anyone else. They spend an awful lot of time 'grooming' or claiming to groom future employees for professionalism and success, for the low level of professionalism they express themselves. NOT Impressed. read more

Great agency, best one I've come across. I was placed into a position within a week, working in the field I wanted to be in. Recruiters seemed to actually care about me, which is something I didn't experience at other agencies. I was surprised to read the negative reviews on this agency. I had a wonderful experience here. I am so glad I signed up with Aerotek and they found me a job within a few weeks. They were always professional and polite each time I visited the facility or spoke on the phone. The gals I worked with were amazing. They took me step by step through the whole process, kept in contact with me often and wanted to know my progress. Gaby Eliason and BritneyBradley are hard working dedicated young ladies. They called me before my interview to make sure I was prepared and were interested to know how it went. They seem like they genuinely cared about me finding work. I have registered with many other staffing agencies and they don't even remember my name; they could care less, which was always odd to me because they make money when they find you a job, you would think they would try harder. I am very thankful I have a job now. read more
