However, I cannot even describe how TERRIBLE my experience with Schweon's was. Alan, the owner, has the largest ego I've ever seen in a man, like...ever. "I've been in this business for 43 years, I know what I'm doing." Woah! Congratulations, man! Good for you! But when you belittle me for how I want MY own tuxedo to fit for MY wedding, you clearly shouldn't be in this business. If you don't want to meet the customer where his vision lies and treat me like CRAP, then don't sell to customers! Make suits for yourself! At least that'll save others from dealing with the egotistical, arrogant, and outright RUDE employees that work here. I also don't want to make this a race thing, but let's just say, I haven't seen him (or his other employees) treat his white customers this way. Alan, if you're reading this, no one gives a crap how long you've been doing this. No one. If you treat your customers like how you treated me, you've been an awful businessman for 43 years, or whatever number you were blabbering about. Time to retire and reflect on your ego! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Not sure why they have all these great reviews; it's probably all their family friends and Caucasian customers. They deserve 0 stars for how they treated me.

Rarely do I try on clothes here, the sizes are pretty consistent. The other day, I had time so I took about 15 pieces into the dressing room. I needed two items in smaller sizes. I asked the salesperson if she could grab me the 2 pieces. Her reply was that I could get them.... I interrupted her conversation with her coworker. Ouch, next time I'll stick to the Loft locations that won't mind helping me.

I spent too much on a dress because I was just frustrated by the trying on process at many stores. Try this store or the prom store in the old Franklin Mills, or Jan's in Cherry Hill NJ. It isn't hugely staffed, but it is decent enough for a store in the mall. Most of their clothes actually fit me as well. This is why it makes it my new favorite store.

Prices range form average to pricey but as always it depends on what "pricey" is to you. I find the clothes really not my taste or size, but I have added a scarf or two to my accessory box. Mini-MI loves to buy little knickknacks for her room and as gifts for birthdays. Everything is in little sections and by occasion, there isn't much elbow room in some sections-- so I would suggest you carry your toddler or baby, not room for a stroller. It can be really warm inside I don't think its from the heater as much as its a small building without open windows and twice the perfume or air freshener is a bit overpowering. What exactly is in the building directly behind the parking lot? I imagine on a summer day with the patio fully being utilized, this would make for a more appealing landscape. Upon entering the small shop, inviting scents and visually appealing colors welcomed me. Because it was Valentine's day weekend, the shop was covered in beautiful flowers. Everywhere I looked there were flowers. Roses to be exact. The store is arranged nicely for the amount of space they are working with. Be very careful...this is not a place to bring your stroller into unless you want to risk knocking something off the rack. Prices are a bit steep. I can understand to an extent. The chocolates being sold were from another store (as per the label), so in order to make a profit, there had to be an upcharge. It makes sense...you're paying a little more for the convenience of gettting...say the chocolate and some other gift all in one place. It's nice to have the option, but if you're looking for reasonable prices, it isn't happening here. I appreciate the off the wall items that are unique. They have Alex and Ani, and other bracelet brands I haven't heard of that might be the next hit. I was bummed about not seeing the entry forms for the lipstick kiss contest. Over by that area was some coffee and mini biscotti. I wasn't sure if this was complimentary or something you had to pay for. A sign would help. The staff was friendly and helpful. A little too helpful for my taste, but I'm just a person who would rather look around on my own. I'm certain, on this weekend in particular, some of the men found the willingness to help pick out items and answer questions very pleasing. The bag you receive your purchase in is cute. I would have preferred to have been asked if I wanted to be on the mailing list as opposed to asked for all of my contact info prior to ringing me up. In a small shop like this, I didn't know if it was a requirement of sorts for the transaction because it wasn't mentioned to me what the info was for. Overall, this shop definitely has a niche - there aren't many places that specialize in some more unique women's gifty items as well as serve a light fare amidst a patio. I'm glad this shop exists, and I like that they have a Yelp promo. I'd return if I was in the area.

That kind of response is completely unprofessional and made it feel like they didn't even want my business or to take the time to help me. For a first encounter, this is not how you run a business or treat potential customers. Honestly, after this experience I'm starting to think a lot of the positive reviews here might not be genuine. A gentleman, whom I refer to as the store manager, translated my requests to the seamstress downstairs. I then returned to the main showroom, and the owner quoted me a price. I picked up the items without the chance to try them on due to scheduling constraints, and later that day, I found the alterations to be unprofessional and not in line with the price I was charged. I was leaving for vacation and could not address it immediately. Upon my return, I showed the store manager my concerns and asked how we could rectify the situation. He advised me to speak with the owner, who was unavailable, and to come back in a week. A week later the owner still wasn't there. The store manager suggested I call the owner, and I asked if he could call him while I was there. He mentioned he doesn't always answer his calls. I said, so why would he answer a call from a number he's not familiar with? In the meantime, I took the two pieces to another tailor to see what could be done to make them wearable. After months of many visits, I reiterated that the work done did not reflect what I paid for and requested a refund. The store manager asked to see the pieces again, I explained that what was done could have been done by me, and he responded, "so why didn't you do it yourself?" I then stated I wanted a refund so I could take them to a proper tailor. He called the seamstress, and they spoke in Spanish about possible fixes. He explained she could complete the additional alterations, and I could pick them up on Thursday, with later delays pushing pickup to Saturday. After four months, the garments are finally wearable.
