I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again.. read more

horrible customer service , and delta partner is horrible to, they are such a liars they offer a hotel if I take a deal in Mexico City and after I landed in Atlanta, every single person I ask for the hotel they where rude and nasty, not helpful at all. i will never booked a flight with them again read more

husband took a flight and checkpoint. He had money in his jacket so he pulled out the money and they said to put it in the bin when the bin came out there was no money this happened in Mexico City. I don't know why they spend so much money in surveillance systems. When the corrupt one is the one that runs the floor I could delete the videos. We have Travel dozens of times and it's always something. The check you in checkpoint. Going to check you again getting on the plane it's really weird I think it's because they want to go into your bags. Do not leave your money on attended. This is not the first time they do it it came out in the news. But my husband didn't believe it until it happened to him. read more

My son was to have a destination weeding in Mexico. However due to COVID-19 the resort shut down and cancelled and refund me the money on my American Express credit card. I try to get a refund from American Express for the airfare, they told me I have to talk to Expedia. When I spoke to them, they told me its Delta then Delta told me it's AeroMexico. The refused to give me a refund. They said I could get a voucher and rebook. I try then I was told they could not do it. My voucher was expired. They would not answer the phone not speaking English. So, I lost out on $2500. Why COVID was not my fault. Why can I get a renewed voucher to take my kids to Mexico. I'm a Veteran 70 years old. Aeromexico did not grant a refund after the death of my grandfather. To make it worse, the customer service rep had instructed me to submit a refund request since a grandfather was consider an immediate family member by the Airline and therefore would apply under the airline's policy. This just opened a wound when the response to the request was the following: "The airline does not consider grandparents as direct family members, we are sorry if the agent who attended you provided the wrong information." As an airline based in Mexico and serving many Mexican families, this insensitive response is unacceptable and very rude. I would not have submitted a refund request had the customer service representative not instructed me to do so. The fact that the airline thinks that it is more important to hold on to a measly $200 than to do the right thing is beyond me read more

The worst flight experience of my life! I booked my flight from DC to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico back in the beginning of June for a flight in October. The night before my flight I tried to check in (my confirmation was still on the website), and was unable. I called Aeromexico customer service and was on the one with them for nearly FOUR hours. It turns out, my flight had mistakenly been cancelled internally by an Aeromexico employee. This was unacceptable considering I was flying internationally with a group, I didn't find out until the evening before my flight, AND I paid for insurance. I was offered an alternative flight that came in later than the group I was traveling with, which was very inconvenient. No reimbursement for my flight was given. Also- on the return flight from Puerto Vallarta, my group (7 people) all had checked in to our flight online the night before. When we landed in Mexico City for our layover, none of our online tickets worked, and we had to go inside the airport and all go through security and bag checks again. Terrible experience, avoid Aeromexico if you are looking for a stress free experience! read more

Complaint 1: Lack of Communication: Several of the Mexico City airline employees told us that the San Jose Del Cabo airport had been closed all day, Thursday 8/31 and continued to be closed through Friday 9/1 due to weather issues as well as airport employees unable to get to work at the San Jose Del Cabo airport. If the airlines were aware of this why was there no notification to Delta airlines that their passengers boarding in DCA will likely not be able to arrive at the final destination to SJD. Not only was there no notification of the airport closure but the whole time I was checking the status of the flight from MEX to SJD it was saying on time for 1405. We arrived to MEX roughly around 1215 from DTW (Detroit), went through customs, received our package, rechecked our package (set to go to SJD), and went through security We passed by multiple employees, 2 of who, when asked because we were aware of the weather concerns in Cabo, informed us that the flight to SJD will be leaving on time). We were looking for the gate information around 1315 (less than 1 hr before boarding) and were unable to find it. Meanwhile the information boards at the airport continued to show "On Time" for this flight (AM0274). After standing in line for sometime an employee informed us that SJD had been closed since 8/31 and had no plans to reopen for 9/1. Yet none of this information was ever communicated to passengers nor to DCA or DTW so at least they could inform their passengers. Now Aeromexico is in no way responsible for weather issues however it is Aeromexico's duty to inform their passengers of delays and/or closures. The reimbursement that I am asking for is not due to weather it is due to the lack of communication skills Aeromexico had on Friday 9/1. Had my friends and I been informed of any closures or delays we would not have continued on our travel that day and would have figured things out on our own. Because Aeromexico failed at one of their tasks, myself and 5 other passengers were stuck in Mexico City for the night. The first attachment is a receipt from the hotel night stay in Mexico City. Complaint 2: Lack of Assistance Once we were finally informed we were sent from one stand to the next with each person saying they can not assist us with anything and for us to go to another location for information and/or help. The only thing we were given was a number (51 33 4093). Which due to us being out of the country would not even work on our phones. We asked at least to be able to use a phone to call and all we were told was to buy a calling card. We went to go get a calling card but all the 7 Elevens that we could find were sold out. So for 4 hours we spent going back and forth from desk to desk, standing in lines, looking for a phone to use to call this number, or to find a calling card. My boyfriend and I were on a return flight a couple of days ago from Cancun to Washington Dulles Int'l Airport and had a layover in Mexico City. When we asked several employees if we had all the necessary paperwork, they dismissively waived us off and told us that "you are fine; go to the gate" in Spanglish, which was fine. Although not the best service, we figured they knew better than we did. When we get ready to board, my boyfriend was missing the other half of his immigration papers and when we asked if they could assist us, they told us no they couldn't help us and we would have to go all the way through the airport to get the papers. Additionally, the male attendant took my boarding pass as if I was getting on the plane which I wasn't- thanks to them. This caused us much grief because once we got the papers that we needed (which they should have had on their counter at the gate LIKE ALL OTHER AIRLINES) we had to spend additional time explaining why the most important piece of my boarding pass was missing- which caused us to miss the flight when we made it back to the gate. We were 2 minutes too late and we could still see the plane- very unfortunate. We then were told that we needed to find the ticket sales office (they did not want to give us directions) to buy new tickets. Aeromexico did not have any convenient or reasonably priced flights, so we booked with American Airlines and paid an additional $600 USD to fly home. As I mentioned earlier, when we finally boarded (13 hours later) our flight in Mexico City, the personnel were very friendly and had extra immigration papers for customers who either forgot or didn't realize they needed the documents. The icing on the cake: they have no actual baggage claim office at the airport we landed in at Washington Dulles Int'l and no customer service or baggage phone number to call to track down our backs. Only an email that sends a auto-generated message back. We are still trying to get a hold of a LIVE PERSON to assist us with hopefully getting our luggage. Aeromexico fell very short of any customer service standard, and I plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau! read more

I just had the most horrible customer service from Aeromexico on just trying to configure my iPhone app so I can access my flight info. while on travel, spent over 40 minutes talking to different people and no one could help me. I'm just hope that I don't have the same service while flying Aeromexico!! Argh!!! read more

On August 1, 2016 myluggage was lost coming from Managua to Washington Dulles airport DCA. We had to wait one hour to go they customs in Mexico City and transfer our bags to the DC flight. That was the last time I saw my bag. After I realized that my big wasn't on the bet I told one of the ataff that rudely asked me to wit. Just to get a lost baggage claim form took me two hours from the staff. I had to sent several emails to get a reply. The phone number that I got from the staff was a non working number. The email from the staff didn't work neither. 15 days later and I still don't have my bag or any resolution. Just to track somebody to reply to you is impossible. read more

TSA has all new modern scanning equipment installed at IAD. Our United UA1057 flight from IAD to Chicago ORD was located at gate D7 across from the United Club located adjacent to gate D8, therefore we hung at the club prior to boarding our UA1057 flight. We boarded UA1057 as Group 1, however while online I was upgraded to first class, using my 20 PlusPoints so I was happy. Our flight departed and arrived on time, however we had to spend some time waiting on the ORD tarmac before arriving at our gate. On our return from ORD to IAD on UA1634 I was again upgraded to first class seat 1F again using my 20 PlusPoints several days prior to our departure. I was very happy that I was upgraded on both of my roundtrip flights. TSA pre-check again was very smooth. We hung at United Club across from our gate so it again was a short walk to our gate. We boarded UA1634 as Group 1. UA1634 departed and arrived on time. Our luggage arrived on an earlier flight, therefore we were able to pick up our luggage very quickly. Overall we enjoyed our round trip flights from IAD to ORD.

This airline is of the best I have ever flown with…read more Upon boarding the plane we were provided provided escort to our seats in first class, which were actually more like apartments. The first class seats literally have everything you could possibly need for pajamas, toiletries, snacks and entertainment. If there is anything you may need just push the call button or ask and they will do whatever they can to help. Everyone onboard is exceptional in everything they do, especially ensuring you are satisfied and have everything you require. The entertainment offered on board is quite a variety and they keep up to date on tv shows and movies. They also provide flight information in real time and other entertainment options, including music. They do have headphones available as well. The food is order on demand, so instead of setting your dinner order, breakfast order and times, they will share with you the menu's in advance, place your order when you are ready. The dink menu for first class is phenomenal, the vintage scotch and port are two of my favorites. I love to end the evening with a 1964 port. Take your drink to the bar I order to stretch your legs if you like, whatever you are drinking will follow you if you advise staff, business class does not have the same drink menu. The food is exceptionally well prepared and so is the place setting. You will also be asked to schedule your morning shower, I noticed many people not wanting to shower but I have to say there is nothing better at the end of a long flight and no worries of getting cold feet as the bathroom floors are heated for your comfort. You will have 30 minutes to shower total and 5 minutes of water use so watch the timer and turn off in between lathering and rinsing. Once you are ready for bed just ask to have the bed made up and you will be ready to sleep, not everyone uses the pajamas supplied but I find them very comfortable. If your looking for a five star airline, you have it with Emirates! Cheers!!

The long haul business flight was surprisingly bad. On the plus side, the food was delicious and service was friendly. I enjoyed trying a range of Austrian wines, and they were kind enough to give me a second entree. But the hard product - the seating - was lacking. I slept worse than I'd have slept in economy - the seat was hard and uncomfortable, and the temperature in the cabin was swelteringly high. The short haul Schengen flight from Vienna to Athens was pretty standard, and is often the case with intra-EU flights, the "business class" was just economy seats at the front of the plane with the middle seats blocked - no extra legroom or roomier seating. Again, the food was delicious, I was surprised at the quality (and quantity) of the meal on such a short flight. I'd definitely avoid Austrian on a transcontinenal flight in the future. In fact, my return flight was originalluy on Austrian, but I changed to United. Say what you will about UA, but the international Polaris Business class is still one of the best transcon options until you get into First Class territory.

With the agents there, why not announce or put a sign that would let passengers be aware of needing new printed tickets flying into US of Canada instead of waiting to tell everyone and have to go through another line elsewhere. It's a good thing we had enough time of layover. So we go to their customer service and get the tickets, come back in line and AGAIN we're told wait somewhere else until another 30mins to get in line for boarding. So we couldn't even sit down by the gate cause they had it blocked off and only let a few in. Wait what??!! So we board and no air vents for individual air flow. I thought I was going to passed out from being hot. As for the meal? You get what they have! No choice!!! It was more Vegetarian than anything. So if you fly with them or connect with them through United, now you know.

I had to use multiple pillows and blankets simply to avoid significant back pain during the flight. I am very VERY frustrated with the experiences I have had with AeroMexico. I have taken your airline TWICE in the past 3 months and BOTH times I have had to miss my connecting flight. The first time was November 2016. The flight was delayed and my group missed our connecting flight back home. We let this first incident slide. The second time was Monday, Feb 27th 2017 on flight AM1592. The airline crew kept delaying the flight every 15 mins until it was 2 and a half hours delayed. My layover was 2 and a half hours long. So when we landed we would have just 1-2 minutes to get to our gate. We tried to ask the airline/crew to notify the connecting flight crew to just wait for us because there were 8+ of us on the same connecting flight. We asked this before our AM1592 flight took off since we were just sitting on the plane for a good 45 min. The crew and airline was uncooperative and unwilling to accommodate the entire group that needed help. I cannot let this incident slide. This is the SECOND time in 3 MONTHS that I have flown AeroMexico and missed my connecting flight. This is unacceptable. In addition, when we were asking to find another flight to get home, your representatives were very unhelpful and the only flights out required us to spend an extra night...somewhere. This required me to spend more money and time and energy to find a hotel. We all also missed a day's worth of work and missed deadlines. I want to be compensated for all my trouble and terrible experiences that I had with your crew and representatives. I sent your customer relations and email, per your instruction, to get my issue resolved. Surprisingly/unsurprisingly, your customer relations rep was unhelpful and again could not meet any level of customer service. No reimbursement or any sort of compensation offered.
