We booked it online, we paid for the Vancouver airport - Downtown for $53 (sedan car). When we arrived at the Vancouver airport, he was already waiting for us outside the hotel. They have their own booth so very easy to spot them. The driver was very friendly and answered all our questions about the city. We used them again a few days later to go to the airport. The driver came to our hotel 30 minutes earlier. We wasn't ready but he waited for us patiently outside the hotel. No attitude at all~ read more

Aerocar Service - Limos Near Me

They were on time. Everything else was so disappointing. Duct tape on the seats. Couldn't sit next to each other the usually long back seat on a limo had the entire middle seat missing. It looked and felt old and dirty. Driver was very nice. Honestly, I would not book through Aerocar Service again. It just wasn't worth the money nor was there anything luxurious about the experience, which I believe is the actual goal when renting limousines. read more

BEWARE of the hidden charges!! I'm giving 3 stars only because the driver got us to the airport in a jiffy. Customer service was LOUSY, probably because the driver figured he'd never see these tourists again. I booked this thru my hotel, and asked to be picked up at 10 am for a 1:00 flight back to the US. The positive part of this review was the driver was on time. At 10:00 the driver walked into the lobby and told my friend that "he's here" and walked back outside and sat in the car. He never offered to load the limo nor did he tell us that there's a ONE DOLLAR PER MINUTE WAITING FEE. If he did tell us, my friends didn't mention it. So 10 minutes went by and I finally told the driver that we shold start loading up. I casually mentioned the hotel said our rate would be $60 for the ride, which he replied, No, its now $70 because there's a dollar a minute fee for waiting. WHAT THE HELL?? Why didn't he say this while he was sitting in the curb?? Like a mad lady I yelled at my friends to hurry up and lets go. The ride to YVR was QUIET. He didn't chat with us, but did use his phone to chat with someone. I guess we were too noisy talking amongst ourselves, he rolled up the chauffer partitian so we wouldn't bother him. The air in the car was warm, and I asked him to turn on the AC. He said we had the controls, and didn't even offer hints on how to cool the back down. We had the windows down, and it was raining! Eventually we figured out you had to turn the AC all the way up to cool down the car. So, here's the kicker.. At the airport, I asked him to give me a receipt. He goes "How much was the ride?" and I said "Well it was SUPPOSED to be $60 but you dinged me 10 minutes for waiting, so I guess its now $70. As if he was doing me a favor, he said "To be nice, I'll take away the $10 wait fee." and handed me a handwritten card with $60 as the fee. Originally I had $80 to give the driver a $20 tip, but when he upped my fee to $70, I was still going to give him $80, giving him less tip. Since he lowered the price, he was shocked at the $20 tip. He goes "Are you sure?" and I said "keep the change.". I'm wondering if he had jerked me off the $1 a minute, hoping to pocket the "waiting" fee. In the end, he still made out ahead... If I get this company again, I will ask for their "wait" policy. Things like this should be disclosed to me, by the driver or the hotel. Also a traveling tip I've learned is ALWAYS ask for a receipt. Even if you don't need it, it'll keep the driver honest, as you can see, I don't think the driver "found it in his heart" to discount me back my $10. read more

From the time I called late at night to reserve my early morning car, I knew I would become a fan. The woman who took my reservation was talkative, kind and sympathetic to my early bird time. My car was waiting in the right spot (not like most taxis) and a real person (the driver) phoned me when I was a minute late. He helped me with my bag and insisted on opening and closing the door for me. Yes! Chivalry lives in a few little spaces... Sure, he was a bit more talkative than I could handle at the crack of dawn and it was pricier than a cab, ($43 + tax to the airport), but being on time and jovial at 5:30 am makes this worth the splurge. read more

DO NOT USE THEIR APP TO BOOK! Booked a SUV on their app, and it showed as "confirmed". The SUV didn't show up - I called to see what was happening - they acted as if I had done something wrong and told me that I should have called earlier that I needed to provide a credit card. No apology until I called the second time telling them I intended to post the poor service on social media. Would definitely not recommend counting on a ride to the airport from them! read more

* New name, new company, almost the exact same service! * Old reliable LimoJet (http://www.yelp.ca/biz/limojet-gold-limousine-services-ltd-richmond#hrid:e-E-0J1ym_3fSczzFYHHbA) lost the contract at YVR and raised its prices by almost doubling them for a transfer to the airport. So I was searching around and found out HighEnd took over the contract. I wasn't impressed when calling for a reservations, as apparently their dispatch system just isn't working well yet (being the new exclusive YVR provider I guess overwhelmed them). But the car turned up a bit early as LimoJet always did, and got me to the airport in the same comfortable way. Speaking with the driver it sounds like most of the old LimoJet drivers have switched over to the new company as well. So it was a pretty seamless and painless transfer for me as a customer too. So there is a new $39 provider from downtown to the airport. Considering a taxi normally runs someplace between $25-$32 depending on traffic, this is a great deal: - They are on time, instead of the potentially missed taxi connection if the taxi doesn't feel like showing up on a busy day, or just ignores a pre-booking, or has a 30 minute hold to connect on the phone. - The car is a nice and comfortable sedan, instead of a ratty taxi. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 for now is the booking just isn't as efficient. So far it doesn't seem possible to book on their website like you could with LimoJet, and dispatch on the phone was a bit confused. I hope they work out these bugs soon, as they are now the primary game in town! read more

Why are they never around after 8 pm? Last night we waited forever for a car. But he pulled away when he saw I had a small dog in my arms. However other cars have no prob. He is not an independent with his own car. Car #33. Then we had to wait forever for another. Terrible service. read more

HighEnd Limousine, doing business as Aerocar, are a relatively new provider to and from Vancouver (YVR) Intl Airport. They also offer other transportation solutions within the city, however my review is directed towards the Aerocar service. I have been using it as a test trial going to and from YVR, both late departures/arrivals. Compared to a taxi which usually runs 28$ from Yaletown to the Airport, their rate of 43$ plus Tax is not too terrible, in the end however you still pay double than the cab fare. Do I need a fancy schmenzy ride for 25 minutes? Probably not. But do I want to take the Toyata Prius aka Car aka Taxi apart to fit myself and my Rimowa XL luggage in there? Definitely not! Despite I can't stand it when people who drive are talking on the phone or listen to loud, exotic music. Both of which cabs are notorious for. (Eek!) So I usually rather take the Canada Line or in this case (as it was a leisure trip) Aerocar. The service was very reliable, the Sedan arrived ~5 Minutes early and the driver was very friendly, We reached the Airport in a breeze with a good feeling of comfort and in happy expectation of the trip. On the return the car was ready, warm and with the same friendly service. Satisfied! If you don't mind spending a few $ extra then this service is absolutely for you. Happy travels!! Cheers S. :) read more

Cabs and car services at the Vancouver airport are hectic at times to say the least but save yourself the trouble of using Aerocar. Our story goes like this. Called the number listed on the podium and was told the car was dispatched and on the way. 15 minutes later we called in to check on an ETA just to have an idea and they said 5 minutes. 15 minutes after that one of the ladies wearing an Aerocar jacket came outside to the podium so I approached and asked her if she had an idea on our car number (48). She quite rudely said it would be at least 30 minutes more as she walked away. Last, we called back and they said that car had been dispatched elsewhere and that we were out of luck. We went to the cab lineup which moved quick and were ok the road in 15 minutes. Told the story to a few friends and they all said the same thing. 0/5 stars read more

So we booked with Aerocar again and the service was great! We got to the concert quickly and early, and he dropped us right at our gate! Later when it was time for the pick up, the driver was close by and we spotted him right away. The drivers have always been nice and polite. Definitely my favorite limo company! read more

Booked the stretch limo for 8 of us concluding a family Alaska cruise. Cost about the same as taxi fare (at 2 per taxi) -- but felt in the lap of luxury! Two were dropped off at the Sheraton and the rest on to the airport. Totally professional, timely, and FUN! Also having it all paid for including the gratuity, ahead of time, was one less worry. No hidden charges to report! So when we arrived, 8 days earlier, there was a line to get a taxi and no line to get a towncar from Aerocar, so the three of us that came in together availed of that service as well. I will only use Aerocar Service on any future trips to Vancouver. read more

AEORCAR DID NOT SHOW UP! I ordered a sedan for a pick up at Vancouver airport and the company failed to pick up my client, and I still don't know why. No one at the company could explain what happened and, after speaking to a few people at Aerocar, no one even apologized. When I initially called to book the car, I had a feeling I wasn't dealing with a professional company because the woman on the phone was rude and denied that my home address exists because it's not in her system. I had to convince her that that's where I live. She reminded me twice that I need to include gratuity, which is also rude. Her tone and attitude were extremely unprofessional. So, I was right about Aerocar's bad service. I paid an extra $50 to have the Aerocar driver find my client in the airport, which, for some reason, didn't happen and my client got off the plane, which arrived on time, and took a taxi instead. I then had to waste even more time calling Aerocar 3 times the next day to convince them to not charge me for their lack of service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AEROCAR to anyone. read more

Much better option than standard taxi service for getting back to the airport in Vancouver, a city with generally poor airport transportation options. Arrived at our door on time, tip was already covered, drive was smooth and professional and about the same as our taxi from the airport had been. read more

*Hidden charges SCAM* *dont give credit card information* I used this service for my best friend bachelor party to take us from downtown vancouver to YVR. We needed to make one stop along the way and I was sent a quote of $59.36. We used the service got to the airport and had a great trip. It wasn't until a couple weeks later that things started to go south. I observed on my credit card statement 2 weeks after the trip that I had been charged by aerocar another 74.96. I assumed it was just a mistake and that it would be easily overturned. I called aerocar and they said their accountant was in a meeting and that he would call me back. He never did, I called again and got the same story. Long story short I had to call SEVEN times actually get a hold of anyone who could help!! So I finally get in touch with the manager and she apologized for my experience and told me to email over the charge from my visa card. i did this and she replied that the charge did not originate from aerocar and that I should dispute it with Visa. So i did About a month later I see that the 74.96 charge that was taken off during the dispute had been re-applied to my card. I talked to visa and they said that aerocar sent in a statement saying that the charge was legitimate and it was applied because we had a stop along the way to the airport. i guess it DID originate from aerocar. So they tried to charge more then double the quoted price, two weeks later, with no explanation for the charge. Keep in mind I have an invoice from them stating exactly what the charge was and the exact route to be taken including the one stop we had. long story short- got quoted $59 for a trip from vancouver to YVR with one stop along the way. got charged two weeks later an additional $74.96. total cost of a limo ride from downtown to YVR $134.32. Add in the terrible customer service and outright LIES and this service is just NOT worth it. read more

I took Aerocar once from my trip from downtown Vancouver to the airport. The driver was very polite and friendly. However, the sedan he picked me up in was extremely old. I noticed there were over 300,000KM on the odometer of the vehicle. The seats were also quite worn and peeling. I would expect a vehicle in better condition for a 30 minute trip that I paid $70 for. read more

One of the things I'm not too fond of beautiful Vancouver is the fact that they have no uber service yet. I'm sure it'll come one of these days, but until then, I'll have to settle for taxi. The reason I booked with this car service company is primarily to get a nice and comfortable ride back to YVR. Paid CAD68 including tip to driver online, and received confirmation by email right away. If I were to pay taxi, would've been CAD50 so the price difference wasn't much. Driver came as scheduled, 5AM, for pickup. Would've been nice if we had some water or coffee to go along with, but nonetheless, it was definitely worth the price to pay. A black Ford Expedition showed up, and off on our way to YVR. Arrived at YVR in 20 minutes. Driver dropped off us in front of the United terminal. Very professional, and smooth ride to the airport. I would definitely consider using their service again to and from the airport on my future trips to Vancouver. Overall experience: A+ read more

My experience with Aerocar was terrible. I ordered it to take my family to the funeral of my husband so we would not have to worry about anything. It was raining. The car picked us up on time and got us there and then promptly left the site with our umbrellas. The drivers did not assist in any way and in fact the trunk of the SUV hit my daughter on the head when she was getting her purse out of the back. On the return, the driver was to take us to the home of a relative and we were the last ones to arrive as he did not know where he was going. It was very upsetting to all of us. I tried in vain to complain to the manager and all calls were ignored. This was a very unsatisfactory experience and i would never use Aerocar again. read more

Took Aerocar in from YVR to downtown Vancouver. After paying I was chastised for not tipping and told "not to screw around if I am on a budget" and "take a taxi instead". Taking a taxi instead of Aerocar is apparently great advice. I thought leaving a tip was for service worth tipping. read more

All you could ask for. We walked outside the Air Canada terminal and saw a car and driver there. We were on our way to our hotel within minutes. The driver gave me a card and I made reservations back to the airport. The return driver showed up 15 minutes early and as we were checking out of the hotel the driver greeted us. Very Professional. I'l use them again. read more

No stars. Do not use this service. A car was hired for my father's funeral. The driver was late, the car was shabby, the driver closed the trunk on my head because he wasn't paying attention, he left the cemetary on a coffee break during the time he was being paid, he didn't have umbrellas in the rain and he got lost on the way to the reception. Can you imagine being late to your father's funeral reception? We were. We called to resolve our issues but didn't receive any response. We tried to call many times, plus numerous emails. We paid over $400 for this terrible car service. read more

This is the worst service I have ever used. The app doesn't work properly. The car didn't show up. Despite a confirmed booking and multiple notices saying a car is on the way. It wasn't. I just wanted to give a quick shout out to the staff at Aero Car. The provide excellent service. The cars are always clean, on time and the drivers a very helpful and professional. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT use this "service" this company picked my friends and I up downtown. I was charged on my credit card twice. I spoke with Gurwinder, who said he would take care of the issue if I were to send him an email with my receipt. I did so, and after a few weeks, nothing. I've tried to contact the company with his name, and either got an excuse that "he was busy" or "he is not in the office." Multiple attempts to get the second charge reversed has only resulted in frustration. I have never posted a yelp review before, as it takes a lot for me to get upset, but this is ridiculous. This is not how you retain customers. Shame on you Aerocar. read more

No show at the Vancouver port for a pre-paid limo to the airport. Had email confirmation AND I called two days before to confirm. Then worse: when we called day of, we had to wait for the next available operator, held for five minutes, then call was automatically routed to answering service. By the time they called back, we were pulling up to the airport in a cab. If you enjoy the risk of being left on the street after pre-paying your fare (with tip!) and confirming your arrangements, then this is your car service. read more

Incompetent or Liars?? Our travel agent booked Aerocar to take 11 of us from Canada Place to the airport on a Sunday after our cruise. We paid $356 in advance for 2 limos so that we could avoid lines and get to the airport quickly. I called when we cleared customs and was told that the cars would be 15 minutes late - not a great start. One car showed up and the driver said that the second car had "broken down" but that another car would arrive within 30 minutes. We put my elderly parents and 2 college kids in the first car and waited. When no car showed up, I called Aerocar again (international call by the way) and was told the car was 10 minutes away. Another call and the car was 5 minutes away... this is how it went for an hour. The dispatcher told me that the car was in the holding yard on the last call that I made - but the man at the limo desk who calls down to the holding yard said that no car was there for us. So was the dispatcher a liar or incompetent? After I told the dispatcher there was no car here, she went back to her "broken down" story again. I asked for a refund and was told that because of the holiday (BC Day) there were no managers in the office until Tuesday. There was never an apology offered - just excuses and lies. The limo desk at Canada Place took pity on us and called another limo for us - cheaper than Aerostar by the way. At this point, we were in danger of missing our international flights back home, so we were grateful for the service of the Canada Place limo desk. To date, our travel agent has not received a refund for the car that did not show. Aerostar management is "looking into the matter". We suspect that although we paid $356 for 2 limos, the Aerocar schedulers only picked up 1 for our reservation - but who knows the truth? These people lack integrity, efficiency and the ability to provide service that was PAID FOR IN ADVANCE. Avoid Aerocar - the cost of doing business with them is too high! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Limos are old, dirty and run down. Picked up at Ferry. As soon as passengers started coming off ferry, he started calling me to ask if we were coming. I said yes just getting off ferry. Then he call again. he gave us no time to get off. On our return trip we booked for 8am and he was late and we missed the ferry. Then we arrived home to the credit card company saying I had a bunch of charges on my card in Richmond and Surrey while I was away, I only gave them my credit card number. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. save you and your company money and grief and aggravation at being ripped off. Absolute thieves. we were a group of 7, and a ford expedition with room for 8 pulls up at the Vancouver airport YVR and says he can't fit us all in, he wont let anyone in the back row. He has a 2nd black aerocar limo pull up and so 4 of us go in expedition and 3 in car. We get to the destination and one driver wants to charge us $75 the other $105. they talk amongst themselves and tell us its $105 per car, total collusion and price fixing. absolute BS. I booked car service online. Arrived on-time to YVR and went to the Aerocar booth just outside the terminal. The guy behind the booth said it would be 5-10 minutes before the driver arrived. It ended up being closer to an hour. Apparently, unless you pay for the additional $50 charge to have meet and greet service, you won't have a car waiting for you. Why they ask for your flight information and pick-up time is beyond me. Once the driver finally arrived, he loaded my suitcase into the back, and got me into the car. He then made a beeline to the airport to use the restroom. No big deal; just a little strange given the wait time. Driver was OK. I arrived safely to the hotel in downtown Vancouver, but I wouldn't consider the driver to be friendly, either. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this service, given the ridiculous wait time when a reservation was made. I recommend taking a taxi or using Blacklane, which has taxes, meet and greet service, and gratuities already included. read more

We flew in on June 2nd into YVR. We booked our vehicle inside the airport, declared the number of passengers and they saw the number. We paid. Had a reciept that we took to the aero car counter outdoors. Pretty straight forward right?NO. When we got out to the desk, the driver was about to let us in the car when the young aerocar attendant started trying to hit us up for more money. The driver sided with this guy and asked us to pay another 40 dollars. We were frusterated and tired after a long flight from Tokyo with kids that in the end we just said "fine" and just decided to not give him a tip. Company should check if they actually got the extra money I gave the driver which I suspect he split with the desk guy as it was not recorded. It was utterly embarrassing as it was my friends first impression of Canada. Thank goodness she met many honest wonderful people while there and had a lovely ride back to to YVR in a normal taxi. read more
