We stopped in during the St Pete 2nd Saturday Art Walk, which is really a MUST DO event. So many great galleries and shops to see in so many interesting neighborhoods. We parked by this gallery and stopped in on our way to Central Ave. They had pro sports team art by a local artist and some nice Carlton Ward photographs upstairs. He's a National Geographic photographer and has particpated in the missions up through Central Florida to highkight the areas natural features and advocate for conservation. Very friendly and helpful lady working at the gallery. They had a vintage early 70s pinball machine for sale that they let us play. :) All good.

It's so colorful and cheerful inside. You can feel the creativity flowing and gelling. Inspo is everywhere. The staff were so welcoming and supportive-especially to someone who still paints like an elementary school kid (that would be me). We paid $10 for the special ghouls night out session... but I've heard you can do walk ins, too. There are shelves full of all sorts of figures and plates and other pottery to choose from. The prices are on the bottom-and that covers the paint and the firing. My friend and I had a table to ourselves-and could spread out our snacks and drinks (they had cupcakes, cookies and small cans of soda available but you can also byob and foods. We brought charcuterie items, champagne and pumpkin doughnuts). It was such a relaxing and happy experience-painting, snacking and chatting. The staff checks on you. You can also go ask for more paint at any time. My spider won't win any awards-but he sure was fun to decorate! I can't wait to see how he'll look after firing. I'm told the colors will darken. It should be ready for pickup in about a week. I'm told they have art classes, day camps and summer camps and that you can hold parties here. It's fun for all ages and I may bring my mom, sister and niece here for some three generation bonding. It's a comfortable space with lots of easy parking available. The class was $90 per person and included about an hour and a half of time, which felt perfect--not rushed at all. They have a huge selection of stencils to choose from, plus tons of different glass pieces in all shapes, sizes, and colors. We also loved all the extra embellishments like seashells, beads, and other decorative touches--you can really make your piece unique. What made the experience even better was the staff. The woman helping us was incredibly friendly and so helpful throughout the entire process. She made everything easy to understand and really helped bring our ideas to life. If you're in St. Pete Beach and looking for something creative and fun (especially with family), I highly recommend this place.
