We decided to go check out this cool bar. Parking was tricky, we had to circle around the streets until we found a lot. There was a bouncer at the door to greet us and check for ID. Inside the bar is vary colorful and fun. What caught my attention was the candy land theme. They offer craft cocktails and gave us a show.

Service was good, but I'm just not a fan of these rotating themes. If you're going expecting a luxury cocktail bar, this isn't it. The decor is cheap and tacky feeling, and it almost feels like you're stepping into someone's house that they decorated for a party. Drinks are creative and different, but no where I'd want to hang out for long at.

Welcome to Neon City. If you've ever wanted to feel like the main character in a futuristic sci-fi movie, this is your moment. Adventure Time Bar completely transforms their space floor to ceiling into immersive themes throughout the year, and the current Neon City experience feels like Blade Runner and The Matrix had a very stylish cocktail baby. The space is fully interactive with set pieces, photo ops, and little surprises everywhere. But the real magic happens at the bar. I'll be honest. Themed cocktail bars can sometimes sacrifice quality for spectacle. Not here. The drinks are theatrical and genuinely well balanced. My top three: Lucy's Dream -- served as an actual cloud with no cup. St. George Valley gin, cinnamon graham cracker syrup, cream, egg white, flash frozen and garnished with graham cracker crumbs. It comes with a spoon and knife. Yes, really. Electric Sheep -- vodka, carrot, pineapple, house space syrup, Madagascar vanilla, prosecco, topped with cheesecake cotton candy and electric blue buzz button dust. Completely over the top and somehow still cohesive. Tinfoil Unicorn -- ube liqueur, toasted coconut milk rum, salted crème, anko liqueur, boozy popping boba and hand cranked shaved ice. A dessert, a cocktail, and a personality trait. I also loved Flowers in Mars, Corpo Tini which is somehow a French onion soup martini, Digital Detox, and Cyberpunk Punch. Each ticket includes a welcome drink, two hours at a table, a loyalty punch card for the theme, and a souvenir. The themes rotate throughout the year, so it's always evolving. Very interactive. Very cinematic. Very main character.

All I can say is wow! We had a blast! Our reservation came with a free welcome cocktail when we entered the bar, and every drink we tried was bursting with insane flavors! Even the drinks we were worried might be too exotic or sweet were absolutely not- everything had excitement and balance. Most of the drinks had NAA mocktail options which I really appreciate - the two NAA drinks I ordered (the Electric Sheep & Loco Choco) were PHENOMENAL. Sometimes mocktails are WAY too sweet but these were still really well balanced. We already made reservations to visit again in a month and bring friends- can't wait to go back!

I've been following Adventure Time Bar on instagram for a while so when they finally opened and released tickets on open table, I pounced. I made a reservation for 6pm for what would be their first Saturday open. The doors opened and we were checked in, ID'd, and then upon entry inside, handed a welcome drink and a wrist band. Immediately struck with a visual overload of neon, grounded fog, sparkling lights, and tv screens playing a variety of shows like Arcane, we proceeded to grab a table before ordering at the bar. NEON CITY indeed. They've got 14 cocktails on the menu along with a few wine options, beer (Weldwerks!), and a few bites. We had dinner plans after to stuck with cocktails and made our way through a respectable number. Also loved seeing St. George distillery (one of my favs) a couple times. LUCYS DREAM - they say dinner and theater is a thing. This cocktail is along those lines with the flash frozen pageantry. Made with St. George Valley Gin, a cinnamon graham cracker syrup, cream and egg white, the astronaut "ice cream" cloud was delicious. Served on a plate with spoons. ELECTRIC SHEEP - admittedly, this was the first cocktail they played to IG and I was intrigued. So after the shareable Lucy's Dream, I ordered it. Did. Not. Disappoint. Every element of this cocktail was a phenomenal gastronomic delight. This drink has everything: from the elixir itself with notes of carrot, vanilla, pineapple and spices to the whimsical cheesecake cotton candy adorning the top only to be sprinkled with a blue buzz button dust. I haven't had buzz buttons incorporated in my cocktail experience since Vegas so it was fun to relive! FLOWERS ON MARS - he ordered this riff on an old fashioned that was so light and approachable with Toki whiskey, shiso & umami bitters, lemon. The Martian cloche with lemongrass vapors was extra fun. CORPO TINI - this is me, writing the Internet about it. INCREDIBLE. If you dig a savory cocktail, you must order this French onion martini. The brioche foam and balsamic soaked Pearl onion take it to the next level. Will need to return for my own. The two sips were not enough! TINFOIL UNICORN - super cute albeit messy. Proper shaved ice (kudos) with 4 flavors like ube, red bean, coconut and one other that I forget topped with tiny boozy boba served with a spoon. LIQUID LACE - dare I call this a clarified espresso martini? Feels inadequate. Just order this sexy number. DIGITAL DETOX - loved this taste of this cocktail (bourbon, St. George spiced pear, honey, lemon) but it stained my lips dark purple pretty fiercely. Drinkers beware! The presentation of this one is fun with the frozen "boil" but makes the first few sips intense. I believe this Neon City run lasts until May, so will be back to try some more and of course enjoy my own Corpo Tini!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Service was incredible and all of the drinks were so creative. We came for a quick drink but ended up staying MUCH longer because we wanted to keep trying new drinks. Sam helped us out behind the bar and he was such an amazing bartender. You can really tell he loves what he does and takes pride in his work. The bar was cyberpunk themed when we came but we'll absolutely be coming back to see what the next theme is!

Dude, this place was so so cool. The owner is super nice, the drinks were so good and creative, I had such a great time! I will be back!

The coolest marg I've ever had- black salt and small spicy kick gave this refreshing drink a delicious jolt.

They do really fun events throughout the year, from seasonal stuff to regular ones like cat yoga and bingo, which honestly make it worth going back again and again. My boyfriend even surprised me by planning my birthday party here, and we had the best time. I have cats at home (I LOVE my kitties and they're very much my fur children), but there's something really special about hanging out with other people's cats and having them choose to come sit with you or curl up on you. It just makes the whole experience feel so sweet and personal. The adoptable cats that rotate through are always fun to meet, and the resident cat Toast is basically a pro at greeting everyone who walks in. I seriously can't recommend this place enough.

I understand that rescues want to make sure cats go to the right homes, and I fully support that…read more However, my experience with this cat cafe and the associated Happy Cats has been extremely frustrating due to lack of transparency and communication. A few month after may cat passed away, I found a bonded pair through this rescue that I fell in love with. I was told they would stay at the cafe as "ambassador cats" for about six weeks before their adoption window opened, and that I should submit an application and add my name to the list. I applied right away and was encouraged to visit them at the cafe in the meantime. Visits cost $11, which I was happy to pay because I wanted to spend time with them. Over the next several months I visited around 15 times and regularly asked staff about the adoption timeline. Each time I was told "soon". Then one day weeks later one employee said "oh those cats are not going anywhere for a long time". That six-week window eventually turned into about 3 months. only after all that time did I learn there are at least 23 people on the list for these cats, meaning there was never any realistic expectation that I would actually be able to adopt them. After months of visits, emotional investment, and an application already on file, and hearing that the cats "are not going anywhere for a long time", I finally gave up hope and said my goodbyes to the kitties I adored. Clearer communication and realistic expectations from the beginning would make a huge difference. Basically, If you are looking to adopt, this is not the place to go - their business model does not work. If you want to cuddle kitties, its pretty nice.

Just a couple days ago a friend mentioned Fox Den was one of her favorite coffee places. I guess it was just a little out of the way for me. I didn't make my own coffee this morning on purpose. We were going out to get coffee and a bag of whole beans from one of my favorite FC coffee shops. I suddenly realized I could use this opportunity to finally stop by Fox Den. The SO asks if I want to go there instead. I say yes, but with a little hesitation. I mean how good can this place really be? Will it live up to expectations? Does the "No Waste" theme come at the cost of compromising coffee quality? Upon entering the cafe, I see a wall of mugs to choose from. I pick the Mickey Mouse one. I place my standard new coffee shop order-a cortado and drip coffee. The barista taking my order says that's his favorite mug. The drip coffee comes first. I chose the light roast. It has mild acid, barely perceptible bitterness, and nice smoothe coffee flavor. I really can't ask for a more balanced cup of coffee. One of the best drip coffees I've had in a cafe. My cortado is up. The barista apologizes for his subpar latte art. It's not that bad. Consistently good latte art is not as easy as some baristas make it look, and baristas are allowed to be human. Besides, this is not the Louvre and art is not what I'm here for, no apology necessary. This cortado is excellent. The high quality pulled shots of expresso shine through the nicely steamed whole milk. I have to know which blends they used in my drinks. El Zorro for the cortado and Foxy Gal for the drip. I compliment the other barista on the shop's coffee. She humbly tells me, "the shots are pulling well today". Typically, when I get my usual cortado and drip coffee, one is better than the other, even if slightly so. Not today. Today both are of equally high caliber. It is a good coffee day.
