Booking was quick and easy, pricing was upfront, communication was great and execution was even better. The guests enjoyed themselves, we felt supported and well resourced on the day of and my son had a blast! We would definitely recommend this location for parties. My biggest tip is to bring a lunch, hang out by the shore, and just chill for a bit. There are so many fun play structures where kids can run around and get all their energy out. They also have smaller play areas and different activities for younger children. I took my son when he was one, right when he was starting to walk, and he was still able to appreciate so much of it. I also think the parents will enjoy this place. I'm not sure if it's the views or the fact that there's lots places to unwind, but I found it one of the more relaxing spots to frequent as a parent. If you do not bring your own food, their options are surprisingly great. We were really impressed to see they have vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, and dairy free options. They also offer discounted tickets if you are on SNAP/EBT or military personnel, which is awesome. Now that my son is older, I am definitely planning to head back soon. They have all kinds of fun programming like bubble bashes and Halloween events. It is truly one of those places you never get tired of coming back to.

My children love love love this camp! I have a son who is 7 and another who is 5. They have been to…read moreseveral camps and they both tell me repeatedly that Camp Funderblast is their absolute favorite camp. Veronica, the woman who runs the camp, is absolutely amazing. She is creative and cheerful and energetic and warm and welcoming. My children adore her. They also love the other camp counselors ( who apparently have funny names like marshmallow etc). There is swimming and storytelling and hiking and game playing and exercise and arts and crafts etc. My very active (and easily bored) 7 year old comes back from camp each day filled with stories of his day and excited to go back the next day. We love this camp and plan to keep going!

I would caution any parent considering this camp. I was asked to pick up a child whom I had never…read morepicked up before, and no one at the camp was familiar with me. When I arrived, I told the director, Tiger/Troy, which child I was there to pick up. Without any hesitation or apparent verification, he summoned the child over the walkie-talkie. He did not ask for my name, check my identification, confirm that I was authorized to pick up the child, or otherwise verify my identity. There was apparently no meaningful attempt to establish that I was the person I claimed to be before releasing a child to me. As a parent, I find this deeply disturbing. Child pickup and release should be one of the most basic and important safety procedures at a summer camp. A stranger should not be able to walk in, name a child, and have that child sent over without any identity or authorization check. What concerns me even more is that this was not a minor administrative oversight--it was a failure of a fundamental child-safety protocol. Parents entrust camps with their children expecting that there are safeguards in place to prevent exactly this kind of situation. I would strongly encourage parents to ask this camp exactly what procedures they have in place for verifying authorized pickups and whether those procedures are actually followed. Based on my experience, I would not feel comfortable relying on this camp to adequately protect a child during pickup.

He has been able to shine in the sport he most loves while engaging in a Covid-safe, outdoor environment. The instructors are very knowledgeable and really learn each player's zone of proximal development, carrying them seamlessly to the next level and ensuring that they really play their best. The directors, Jenn and Blair, are so professional and accommodating, checking in with me often around the ever-changing environment of the quarantine. Azzi is an amazing program and we are now diehard fans! If you are looking for a solid, strong, fun, and Covid-safe basketball for your son or daughter, Azzi Hoops is a wonderful option. Ok so we have been an Azzi Camp family since summer of 2016…read more My son got a taste for basketball after 3rd grade and any Azzi opportunity is an amazing opportunity. We've done winter holiday camps and week long summer camps but covid brought a whole new perspective. Basketball is tough with lots of touch and risk for contact but with good planning I trust what we now have for summertime: 3 weeks long Outdoor courts Small groups Same coaches Temps on arrival Zero tolerance for any health concerns Keeping staff and campers healthy Honestly I'm thrilled I'm a local pediatrician whose now 8th grade son is thriving with Coach Jennifer and Coach Blair Praying these guys come up with an elite camp for older kids ! We love Azzi Academy!! Thank you
