I saw a doctor in Joliet who automatically was suggesting that I might have a tumor or MS. I have scoliosis and was hoping it was a pinched nerve. He suggested that I get an MRI of the neck and brain. Being a frugal shopper, I shopped around because I have a huge deductible that wasn't met. The cost of a neck and brain MRI is pricey but I discovered that FDG included the radiology report among other things. I also discovered that they are one of the most competitively priced diagnostic facilities in the area. I went in and was not disappointed at all by the friendly front desk staff and professional techs. I read the last review and found it hard to believe that a tech would offer assessment information because when I asked a tech if she could tell me if she saw anything scary she told me that the radiologist is the one that is able to make the assessments and would provide a thorough report on the findings. Even though it was a holiday weekend (Labor day weekend) I had my report forwarded to my doctor on Friday ( I came in on the day before which was Thursday). Now I don't know if the reports will always come so quickly but I feel that the radiologist might take a quick peek at imaging stuff to see if there is anything glaringly obviously wrong, then would place that on a priority screening (I think but I have no idea what really is their policy, perhaps they stick to a fist screen first read; I don't know). Either way, my experience at Future Diagnostics Group was as good as could be expected under the circumstance of sitting in a MRI booth with knocks and pings, but that really wasn't that bad either, I was actually falling asleep and felt very relaxed. Would I recommend FDG for other screenings? Yes. Of course you should do your homework and shop around if you need to but I don't think you would be disappointed. All I could say is that the staff was nice and professional and that was good enough for me. M.B.

I just wrote a review for Future Diagnostics at New Lennox because I didn't see this location... oops... this is the location I had MRI done. It's located in Joliet. Well worth the drive from Chicago!! Everyone was so professional, medically knowledgeable and so very kind and caring!!! And the MRI cost was nearly 1/3 less than the hospital I was referred to originally. I was able to get in so soon after calling!! Lori Russ is phenomenal!!! All of the MRI techs are great!! Each person I interacted with was professional, so knowledgeable and so very kind! And, each person really took the time and listened to what had been occurring with me medically..so refreshing!! I recommend Future Diagnostics without reservation!! Truly the best medical experience I have ever had!! Many thanks to Future Diagnostics and all there!!!

I had severe facial pressure and pain around my eye and I knew it was a sinus infection. I walked in around 8:30 in the morning, and left around 9am. Only had to wait in the waiting room about 10 mins before being taken back. The front staff is always nice, as is the nurses I've seen. The doctor was kind, knowledgeable and didn't try to rush me out the door. Like I said, I've been here a few times before and I've always had a pleasant experience. They also let you book an appointment online in advance, and this lessens your wait. I did that with my first appointment (and my son's - they saw us both at the same time for strep), and we were in and out in no time. The bathrooms, waiting room, and the patient rooms in the back are all clean - which is a huge plus for me!

The supervisor around the department very well although you wouldn't really know she was the supervisor because she blended in so well with her team they were always friendly always on time and always helpful. I learned much More about my heart from this group of women. Participates come and go as they complete the program and they are always complementary about the program. I'm so glad that I was able to participate. It was nice too that they were able to work with me. There's some appointment changes that I needed. I would recommend this program to anyone that's had cardio issues. It was great.

This rating is in response only to the lab services. In the past year, I have shown up for lab…read morework, only to be turned away because the lab was not staffed. If you are going to have a lab, it should be staffed or have published hours when it is going to be staffed. The office response was to go to another location, which was out to Oswego, and very inconvenient for a working person. Today's visit was an insult; an at home lab test was ordered for me, which I picked up the supplies last week. When I returned my test today (urine to analyze for kidney stones), I was told the lab gave me the incorrect supplies and I had to do it over again, but they did not have the supplies, and I would have to go up to a lab in Downers Grove to pick up what I needed. Not only is this inconvenient, but now it is more expensive as I have already met my yearly deductible. Here it is December 30, and there is no way I can get it done before the end of the day tomorrow. There definitely needs to be some changes for the lab for services and communications at this location.
