I gave then two stars because at the end of the day I got a New Loan with an OK rate but My experience with them was not a good one. The original Salesman/Specialist was knowledgeable and Good at his job, sold me on an easy process and quality organization. The follow up was far less than 5 Stars, starting with follow up emails with wrong phone numbers , things that were promised that would not be a problem turned out to be a problem, people calling me from other companies that I was not expecting, so basically there communication was less than stellar. Even on the Final closing where I was getting some cash out, a person called me asking for my bank account and I was not willing to give it because I had already given it and I did not recognize the name of the company nor did I expect their call. I told my contact at AdvantageFirst and he told me to not give them my information. Turns out it was the Bank that was providing the Cash out. People make mistakes I get it, but too many in my opinion for this type of business. But here is the main reason for the bad review, very close to 1 star. During the process of a loan , they have to verify your employment and need info from your company. I work in California and my Corporate is in Texas , they were provided this information. In my company we have several Stores in California, someone from their company decided to choose one of the California companies that I am not even associated with and send my personal confidential information to that company. After I found this out , it feels that I had to this person that this information only goes through HR or ownership , and she seemed to not know this. Since then I had a couple of hits on my personal accounts and it has been a hassle. For this reason I cannot recommend this company. read more
