In the beginning of the text they said they would honor the groupon price but to please not buy the groupon and pay them directly. I thought that was a little odd. Then after they asked me the price groupon was offering I told them, they said okay, we began to book the appointment and then they came back and said they can not honor the price and to just buy groupon and pay that way. I was so confused by the end of this transaction that i just decided to find a different place to get a massage with my boyfriend.

This was my second time trying Atom Massage. The first time, I booked with a male therapist,…read moreassuming he would provide deeper pressure since I prefer a firm massage. I was completely wrong. Despite repeatedly asking him to apply more pressure, I eventually decided to end the session early. They sent in a female therapist instead, and she was fantastic. However, she stopped after an hour even though I had paid for 90 minutes, so I had to remind her. While I appreciated the quality of her massage, I was disappointed that no discount was offered for the disruptions. Because she did such a great job, I booked with her again--but this time, the experience was completely different. She didn't ask about my pressure preferences or problem areas, and I had to request deeper pressure multiple times. She seemed rushed, as if she just wanted to get through the session. Had I not experienced her skill before, I might have considered it an average massage, but knowing what she was capable of made it all the more frustrating. I won't be returning. Time to explore other options.

First off, my biggest complaint is…read more.. I wish the appointment never ended! Kelsey is great. Honestly, I never get any "me" time, as I am a busy mother and student. Self care was much needed. Kelsey was kind enough to make time for me on a Sunday morning. Her office is in downtown Vancouver, WA. I live in NW Portland, and the stroll was easy with only a 13 min drive. Parking is free on the weekends, by the way. How nice is that, right? As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by Kelsey. She offered me water or tea. I filled out the usual paper work. Kelsey made sure I understood what my options were. I told her about the pain in my body, and she worked with those points during the massage. It was very relaxing. I also like her music selection. It was putting me into a trance. Kelsey pulled a lot of stuck energy out of my system. I could feel my blood circulating during the session. Her touch is strong and gentle. It was a healing experience. I felt a bit emotional as it ended, but I felt safe in my body and mind. I am typically high strung with anxiety, and as soon as I left, I felt calm. I was in a relaxing daze. My body really needed the healing touch. I will definitely be going back to see Kelsey. So very grateful!
