I was hoping to have a good experience, since this was the first time I've hired professionals to do the job. However, I didn't feel I got what I paid for, which turned out to be a lot. Our mover started complaining half way thru the job, mostly that I hadn't packed well. While him and his buddy were moving slowly, my boyfriend and I were hustling back and fourth from the house to the truck. When I hired this guy, I didn't think I would be doing half the work myself. Dave also left for about 20 minutes during the job to get lunch and when I asked him where he went he smirked and told me he went to Burger King. It was unprofessional in my opinion and I didn't need to hear him complaining while I was paying him. I gave him our new address were at least 2 times over the phone and he still didn't have it, seemed unorganized. I strongly regret the decision to hire this company. read more

Late, unprofessional (constant complaining by one of the workers about his boss and the job), payed way more then quoted, we helped them move our things, they were upset that are boxes were not packed to their standards. I heard about this company from a friend and was sad when it didnt go well...especially because we will need movers again in the near future. read more

Dave's prices are very reasonable. Use him if you want to have about 80% of the job moved and want to listen to them complain about you & the condition of your home and how you didn't pack well. They scheduled me for a Sunday but didn't want to go back for a second trip to get stuff from my home that wouldn't fit in the truck from the initial trip. Some of his employees were so vocal and unprofessional I finally asked what his problem was!! He replied he had worked 7 days an was tired...poor baby! I had damage to walls of the home we were leaving & had to have them repaired to list. 8/23/2017. Update Thanks Lisa D for your better late than never comments. Seems by all your reviews, none positive, I should have looked here first. None of the reviews are positive. U did meet with us, we moved to a new home, move ALL the stuff. U want ur clients to do the job for u?? The cleanliness of my home or any other is none out your business, do the job ur paid for an keep your snide rude comments to yourself. My money sure wasn't dirty. And as for the EXTRA GUY, one was so hung over he complained about everything he was not help to u but a embarrassing hindrance. This mover came highly recommended, but I would not recommend them to anyone!! As soon as they came into my apartment they started complaining about the amount of stuff they had to move. I had planned ahead because I knew I had a lot. I hired four men and 2 trucks for the move. I was paying them hourly, so I didn't understand why they were complaining. The owner was there and he was very rude and flat out refused to move my washer and dryer! I had to pay one of the men $100 cash for them to move them!! They also refused to move a large bird cage. I had to leave it at the apartment where it was thrown away and I had to go out and buy a new cage for my bird for over $130! They damaged my freezer which they refused to move, but did move in the end. When I opened it, some of my food was missing. I had damage to other items as well. They were not careful in moving my belongings. Upon arriving to the new location, they refused to take all my boxes to the proper rooms upstairs. I had to move them myself after the move! My brother in law had to get involved and in the end, they took $80 off the fee for the day. I was still out the $100 cash though. All said and done, they were cheaper, but this was definitely a case of you get what you pay for! If I had known what that move was going to be like, I would have paid more and gone with a different company! They had my poor mother in tears that day. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! read more
