I didn't particularly like the guy with his up sell as to me needing some sort of sanitizing light in the blower cavity for mold. The estimate was way over the top! But he checked out all parts of the system thoroughly, said things were in order, and that was great. Then the summer visit came yesterday and don't know where the communication breakdown came but when i talked to the scheduler a couple of months ago and made the appointment, I immediately documented it in my Google calendar. Well, yesterday's appointment was to be between 8 and 10 AM. Then 10 AM came and went, and so did 10:30 and 11:00 AM. I called at 11:30 and was told that my appointment was late afternoon. I said no thanks cancel my appt and hung up. Within about 20 minutes or so I get a call from technician David, whom was told to call and report to my home. Very nice guy, we talked about the system, do's and dont's. He went outside and checked things, hosed out the inside of Condensor fan housing and the coils. He said everything looked great and we were done. Upon reading other reviews, it looks like most customers had a good experience, so I as well would say they are worth a try.

Our air conditioning unit wasn't dead, but it was in the process of dying. We called Russett, who…read morehas handled our HVAC needs for decades. We found out Russett sold to Rite Way as of the next day, so we would be dealing with a company we knew nothing about. First, RW was immediately responsive and scheduled an installation project manager to come out the next day. Dominick Stephens arrived as scheduled and discussed options, features, and prices. He was personable and knowledgeable, and made an excellent impression. We made the decision and RW was able to schedule the installation of our new unit the following day. Is that efficient or what!?! The two installers, Arthur Mejias and Henry Arroyo, showed up at 8:00am as promised. They explained the plan and we were thrilled to hear that they had A-frame ladders to go over the wall so they wouldn't have to keep traipsing through our house. That also solved our kitty problem: Oliver has never been an outside cat, but he thinks he would like to go out. So we didn't have to worry about him escaping. Very appreciated. They really knew what they were doing and were incredibly polite. They did a very professional job, including the sheet metal work in the garage. They finished the installation around 5:00pm and then showed us how to operate our fancy new control box. If we were to rate Rite Way on a 1 to 10 scale, they earned a 10 in all categories. We recommend Rite Way and the three employees who made the project happen.

I've spent about $30k with Riteway in the past 3 years. Based on my experiences with their services…read more(HVAC replacement, split install, water heater estimate), I can't recommend them, especially considering the premium price tag. Here's a short list of issues we've had: 1 - Mini split makes loud ticking noise (Riteway has been unable to fix this; see video) 2 - Closet door left with gaps and won't open/close without force 3 - Sloppy ductwork has been ineffective 4 - Riteway (accidentally) broke our water heater, took no responsibility, and quoted $4,600 for a new one 5 - Work not completed for months; no proactive followups unless I call/email persistently Hiring this company is certainly the expensive way, but I'm not convinced it's the right way.

I sent an email a month or so I'm ago for a tune-up, and asked if I could also get a quote for a mini-split for the garage. I never got a reply. So maybe the company has gone thru some changes. You will probably have to call them to get a response.

We were shocked by the estimate we got from the company we had been using for maintenance so we decided to see what other companies were charging. Once we made our decision we had an appointment two days later. We were told it might take 6 hours and they were done in roughly 3.5 hours. All 5 of the guys were great. We decided to obtain a second quote and Daniel from Hamstra spent 3 hours checking the systems and concluded it was in good working condition. Brenovations HVAC is literally "the worst" AC company we have ever delt with. Being an AZ resident,…read morewe get approximately annual AC services, so we have LOTS of satisfactory services in the past. The HVAC Tech was called out to replace a motor, a rather simple service. The Tech failed us on this service in the following ways: left the wires exposed (in violation of the company's own policy), swapped the motor in a way that left the threaded bolts banging against the fan blades (potentially damaging the blades), removed/discarded the HVAC cap without the home owner's permission, & was abrupt, completely disregarding our concerns about the safety of exposed wires in an area adjacent the kids' backyard playground. The Tech came out several times to fix his mistakes, but then became obstinate. After going round and round with Brenovations' management and eventually the owner, they also gave up because the Tech absolutely refused to come back. So unless you want service from a company that: fixes HVACs in a way that could cause more damage, violates its own policy, takes property off the job site without the home owners' permission, disregards safety concerns of children, and has no backbone to stand up to their own techs, then we suggest you stay far away from Brenovations HVAC. To make matters worse, Brenovations HVAC has completely given up on the service: leaving us stuck where we started with an incomplete job and hazardous situation. After all the work, frustration, and lost hours, we are nowhere closer to resolving the failure of the original service, making Brenovations literally "the worst" AC company.
