I was seen by Dr. Filip. At the beginning of the consultation, the surgeon said we needed to "deal with the elephant in the room," referring to my weight. He then repeatedly stated that I was "the definition of anorexic." I explained that I have always been naturally thin, but instead of listening, he continued making assumptions about me personally and said the deeper issue was that I was unhappy with myself. I fully understand that a surgeon can decline elective surgery for medical or safety reasons. That was never the issue for me. The issue was the delivery, the judgmental tone, and the lack of professionalism and compassion throughout the interaction. At one point he even rolled his eyes while I was trying to explain myself. No patient should leave a consultation feeling humiliated or psychologically analyzed instead of medically evaluated. After my initial review six months ago, Dr Kim called me in order to make my tummy tuck right. She initially pushed lipo on me, but I INSISTED this time that that wasn't the best option for me, so she directly removed the stomach fat that was left and fixed the scar. The results look MUCH better. I am still upset about having two surgeries, missing work, driving an hour from my house to AI multiple times. It was all a mess. I have thought about breast augmentation since I was 14 years old. I have always had a small chest and although there is nothing wrong with that, I had three kids and breast fed all three of them. On December 4, 2020 I had a tummytuck, muscle repair, lipo of the flanks, and lipo of the pubic done by Dr. Wongworawat or who I call Dr. W., I'm three months post-op and I love the way I look, and my healing process isn't even 100% done yet. I was worried about how the incision line was going to look, the scaring of stitches, and my bellybutton. Boy oh boy let me tell you Dr. W., did not disappoint me! My incision line is super low, he stitched me up from the inside with dissolvable stitches so the incision scarring looks incredibly amazing, plus I apply biocereum 2xs a day to the scar which helps a lot too! AND my bellybutton looks great, just me writing this does not do Dr. W's work any justice, check out the pics! Dr W. Had his work cut out with me. He performed an augmentation, lift, and areola reduction. I had gotten several quotes and even a doctor who said the procedure was too difficult and referred me to someone else, but doctor W. Dr W and his staff are incredible. From my first consultation, through surgery and all my follow up visits....Dr W and his staff made me feel comfortable, safe and answered my millions of questions. I came to every appointment with a list and they answered them all. I am very particular about things and did a lot of research before choosing them. I was worried about the anesthesia and the anesthesiologist spent a lot of time with me before surgery to answer all of my questions and made me feel comfortable. Dr W even gave me his cell phone number since my surgery was on a Friday. I did end up texting him over the weekend with a few questions. He immediately replied and was very easy to communicate with. All of the follow up instructions were clearly laid out and I really felt that they set up my recovery for success. With any surgery there are concerns but he and his staff put my mind at ease. Well this was my final and last consultation before making my final decision. I saw Dr. Kim very kind doctor, my quote was close to 30k very high compared to the other surgeons. Even with that price she didn't promise a perfect tummy or breast because on her own words it's jus ( unrealistic )... But what really got me off guard was all the add ons. They even charge extra to use a Keller Funnel during surgery isn't part of the instruments needed for surgery? I was blown away with all the extras. Definitely regret paying $75 for a consultation. Had a great experience receiving breast augmentation with Dr W. He has great bedside manner, compassion, and takes time to answer all of your questions and concerns pre-op and post-op. I had some fears prior to surgery and Dr W. Scheduled an additional pre op appt just to address those fears to make sure I was 100% confident in my decision. Post op, Dr W is available and easily reachable for any questions that arose however big or small. I feel that it is so rare these days to talk to a doctor without jumping through hoops or calling and leaving a message with a call center. I love the results and the scarring is barely visible. I had my first consult with Dr. Pham in May 2018 and set my surgery date for November 2018.  I'm currently 3 weeks Post-Op and couldn't be happier with my results. In fact, the results exceeded my expectations. I did my research, looked at reviews, and had some consults with different surgeons. I felt most comfortable with Dr. Pham at AIS.  I chose Dr. Pham because I felt at ease from the moment I met him. He is professional, confident, easy to talk to, super nice, and honest about what to expect. He does not try and upsell which has been something I have experienced with other plastic surgeons.   I was 24 yo when I had my first breast augmentation and a tummy tuck in 2003 and I was overdue to change out my old saline implants for new ones.  I gained weight throughout the years so a breast lift was going to have to be done in conjunction with the augmentation.  I also decided to get liposuction on my flanks and abdomen.  I wanted to go with silicone implants this time. It had been so long since my first augmentation that I forgot the size. I couldn't track down a post op report from the surgeon due to records being tossed out after a certain amount of time.  Together, Dr. Pham and I decided on moderate profile silicone implants 375cc, 405cc, and another larger than 405. Which one he decided to use was a game day decision depending on what size the saline implants were.  Dr. Pham went with 405cc and they look amazing. The saline implants he removed were 365cc. I love my current augmentation way more than the first time around back in 2003.  I like the feel and look of the silicone implants and the placement is amazing which is 100% on Dr. Pham.  I didn't expect to see such a drastic change regarding the liposuction but again my expectations were exceeded.  I'm so happy with my results I can't even put into words how pleased I am. I have more confidence and I feel so much more comfortable in my skin even 3 weeks post op.  My clothes fit so much better too!   All the staff at AIS have been amazing and so great throughout the process.  Amy helped schedule my surgery and broke down prices and options.  I met with Christina for my Pre-Op and she went over all the procedures and their contraindications, do's and don'ts, what to expect, and she answered a ton of my questions.   The day of the surgery was nerve wrecking for me. My worst fear was being put under. I wasn't worried about the pain after, I kept stressing about the anesthesia. The staff at the surgical center were all great too.  They made me feel comfortable and like I was in good hands.  When Dr. Pham came in I felt more at ease. He did my markings, went over the procedure again, how long it would take, and what order it would be done. Again, very nice, professional, and never made me once second guess my decision.   Dr. Pham called me and texted me a few hours after my surgery to check in on me at home.  He has been hands on and always available since day one and especially after my surgery.  He said text anytime and send pics if there were any concerns about healing, swelling, etc.  He always answered my calls/texts right away. He is how all physicians/surgeons should strive to be.  I am blown away.  I don't recall getting this level of care from my last surgery. I have had 3 post op appointments with Dr. Pham since my surgery and he's always on time, always in a great mood, and always takes the time to listen and explain all my post-operative questions. Dr. Kim was amazing!! I had breast implant removal and a lift. My implants were 35 years old and were a mess. She is a perfectionist and I couldn't be happier.
