I'm a 65-year-old woman who was ready for a big transformation -- not to look like someone else, but to feel like myself again. I started by interviewing several surgeons because I was planning to have a lot done and I wanted it to look natural. Many had great reviews and seemed capable, but Dr. Kim stood out from the very beginning. She was thoughtful, thorough, and so knowledgeable. My first consult with her lasted about an hour, and the second one went for two full hours. She took tons of notes on everything I said. I remember walking out thinking, She's the one. So, what did I have done? Quite a bit! I had a face, neck, and brow lift; fat grafting (used as filler in my facial area); lower eyelid blepharoplasty; and perioral dermabrasion on my upper lip. I was under anesthesia for around 8.5 hours. From pre-op to post-op, the process was easy to follow and honestly kind of seamless. I've had zero complications -- none. Violation #6 I have implant removal surgery 5 and half grueling and painful months after my initial surgery at San Diego Surgical Center observed by over 20 members of the medical profession. My surgeon did not speak to me before or after the surgery. No photos or descriptions of the removed implants. No pathology report of the fluid and material removed from the surgical area as requested by Kaiser Medical. No documentation of key findings and/reasoning for my pain and suffering the prior 5 months Violation #7 My surgeon sends me paperwork releasing me as a patient (abandonment) the day after I request the documentation above with stitches still in my body, unanswered questions regarding next steps, no new plastic surgeon to step in and take his place during the peak of Covid 19 lockdown. I am told it will take 6 months to a year before I heal and see the results. As I continue to seek Medical help, and Learn New findings as of June 10,2022. My surgeon was negligent in his care and treatment of me in that he failed to care for and treat me in accordance with the standard of care and skill required of and ordinarily exercised by the average qualified surgeon engaged in medical practice at that professional level, such as that in which my surgeon was engaged. No follow up after consultation to see how I was doing, which spoke volumes considering my visit was due to an issue with his original work. I did my research and got a second opinion- the difference in care and service was like night and day. I'd steer clear of Dr. Sarosy. It's time for him to retire.
