My review of Dr. Rochelle Nguyen and her practice is past due. She has been my dentist for over 4-years. I had just moved to Seattle in 2015 when a friend recommended me to Dr. Nguyen after I had a filling partially fall out. Dr. Nguyen was about to close for the evening but took me in that same day. I have had all my dental work done by her since, from teeth cleaning and fillings to two extractions and implants. Dr. Nguyen is very thorough from start to finish (and with her post check-ups). I have family members out of state who are great dentists/oral surgeons, so my expectations are high. I trust Dr. Nguyen as much as I do them. Dr. Nguyen is very conservative in that she will try everything possible to save your teeth, knowing that any root canals or extractions are a last resort since it involves bone loss. She is proactive in caring for your teeth, and even more so post dental work to ensure that you continually take proper care of the work performed on your teeth to ensure longevity. She is economical with your time and dental work, and will schedule treatment that can be done in a manner where it is convenient and less costly to you (saving you on time and cost of an office visit). Her office pays attention to your dental plan and will assist with the benefits/services you are entitled to receive. Dr. Nguyen is very gentle when it comes to working on your teeth. She is quick yet thorough without ever compromising the quality of care that is provided. Her entire staff has the same work philosophy as Dr. Nguyen--they are compassionate, friendly and helpful, and takes great care of you. Dr. Nguyen and her team will make sure you understand everything that is provided you; from the dental procedure you will undergoing, to pre and post care, and the dental insurance side of things. Dr. Nguyen cares about her patients, and that is reflected in how she would often stay past closing hours to tend to new patients for emergency care (like she did for me in 2015) or to provide last minute dental care because you are going out of state/country for a long work trip or vacation (like she still does for me!). Dr. Nguyen is also very particular in who she refers you to for specialized work outside the scope of her practice, because she wants you to have the best care (she recommended me to a fantastic endodontist) whether it is with her or another practice. It had been many years since I last went to a dentist, and when one of my wisdom teeth broke open I knew just a simple cleaning would not be my only visit this year. Dr. Nguyen took good care of me, finding time during a fully booked week to get me in to deal with the broken wisdom tooth asap. She was very careful to make sure I wouldn't feel any pain during the extraction. The following week I went back for a routine checkup, the first in many years for me. Dr. Nguyen once again was there to not only do the x-rays, but carefully check each tooth visually and took pictures so they could show me all of the problems. The actual cleaning process was fast and was more thorough than my old dentist. When I went back again the following week to deal with cavities that had developed, Dr. Nguyen was there again to quickly deal with all of the fillings in much less time than I anticipated, and even though one of the teeth was almost in a state where a root canal would be needed, she worked hard to make sure the tooth could be saved. All of the staff was friendly and more than willing to explain any questions I had about all the procedures, and I was very impressed that Dr. Nguyen was so skilled in all of the dental procedures. After my last dentist, and seeing how so many professionals now a days tend to be specialized at one or two things, its a great thing finding a dentist who felt like she could do it all easily. read more

I had to find a new dentist when I moved to a new place. But it's always a scary place to go to so I kept waited and waited until one day my right teeth (up and bottom) hurt really bad. I did a research (on yelp!) and found Dr. Rochelle Nguyen's name. I walked in without an appointment, yet her staff was amazingly nice and friendly. Dr. Nguyen examined my teeth right away and told me I needed root canal. I knew I needed one (3 years ago -_-) so I made an appointment asap. It was my first root canal in my life! I was terrified!!! But Dr. Nguyen was very very nice and professional. She did everything she could to help me calm and relax. During the procedure, she was gentle and confident, made me feel very comfortable. She did a thorough, clean, painless job. Next day, Dr. Nguyen called me in the morning to make sure I was okay and told me what to do in case I was in pain (even though I wasn't :)). I went back about a week later to check and make sure everything was good. And I made another appointment to get ANOTHER root canal done. I can't believe I am saying this but I actually had a pleasant experience for a such a scary job. I love Dr. Nguyen and her staff and have recommended her to everyone I know! Dr. Nguyen and her staff care immensely about the patients experience and go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable while visiting her office. If you are timid about seeing a dentist like I was then I encourage you to visit. Dr. Nguyen not only provides the technical care that is needed but she provides a comfortable soothing atmosphere to allow the patient to relax as much as possible. That was telling in my recent visits. I needed some significant work done on my teeth and the experience couldn't have been better. I can't express enough how grateful I am for Dr. Nguyen and the team at Advanced Dentistry. My mom, who is 79, recently underwent dental implants for both the left and right upper sides of her mouth. Naturally, I was very concerned about how she would handle the procedure, especially at her age. However, Dr. Nguyen's approach put all my worries to rest. The use of surgical guides and platelet-rich plasma made all the difference. My mom didn't even need ibuprofen past the first couple of days and experienced minimal bruising. The level of care was exceptional--Dr. Nguyen personally called the next day to check on my mom's progress, which meant a lot to us. I flew up from California for an appointment with Dr. Nguyen based on a family member's glowing recommendation and I am glad I did. As a physician myself, I do not hesitate to give Dr. Nguyen my highest recommendation. I had a cleaning, multiple tooth filings with air abrasion and fitted for a teeth whitening system. Her incredible technical skill set, combined with her genuine and caring bedside manner set her apart. She clearly works hard to go above and beyond and provide the best care possible, which makes her a remarkable and high quality advanced-care dentist. I plan to fly up again for my next dental visit. I have been going here for a few years and am very happy with my experiences. They accept a wide range of insurance plans (I have to switch employers multiple times within the last few years). I find the out if pocket fees very reasonable and have never been afraid to go to the dentist since going here. Dr. Rochelle always explains a procedure to me before starting so that I know that to expect and I usually can get an appointment the same week. I used to have very yellow teeth and since starting my visits, my smile is much brighter. I adore the receptionist Jessica, she's always friendly and makes me laugh. I needed an implant and phoned around to a dozen or so dentist offices (Bellevue/Renton area) summer of 2020 looking for someone qualified and at reasonable cost. Selected Dr. Nguyen - she gave me a free examination and carefully explained what the implant procedure involved but gave me additional options for me to consider. It is apparent to me that she does many implants and is highly skilled judging from the work she has done in my mouth. Her rates are reasonable, equipment is state-of-the-art and friendly staff. I recently had my first Implant inserted and I have had no pain what so ever. Given where in my mouth, lower left molar, I wasn't expecting any complications and there were none. I have had extensive dental work done in the past and am pretty knowledgeable of the dental world. Dr. Nguyen was very informative and answered all of the questions I had in a professional and respectful manner. I had so many teeth done here within a short period of time to get ready for my oversea job transfer. Dr. Nguyen has been extremely thorough and knows exactly what she is doing. I am the most pleased with the root canal of my back tooth - somehow I had 4 canals on my back tooth which is rare but she flawlessly treated it with a beautifully crafted crown. Dr. Ngugen provides a great dental experience (well, as good as a visit to the Dentist could be). I am a longtime patient. She has been very personable and gentle in her work. Her office is beautifully decorated and nice soothing, comforting music is played throughout the building She is known as leader professionally, keeping up with the latest in her field and teaching others. I just moved to Renton from Scottsdale and was nervous to find a cosmetic dentist to replace my chipped front crown. I was shocked at how affordable it was to get both front teeth replaced when I had spent thousands to get them in the first place back in Scottsdale. Dr. Rochelle did not disappoint! Dr. Nguyen was recommended to me by several people as she's known in Washington to be an expert at dental implants. She has an amazing bedside manner, some of the best and newest technology available, and is a bonafide expert (she even teaches classes at UW). From the beginning, the front desk called my health provider and created a cost structure that they haven't wavered from.
