Very costly place with fancy billing. Never have I seen so costly dental services in Philadelphia. Even insurance is not applied for some services. I don't understand why like this. Then what's the use of having dental insurance with Medicare and Medicaid plans I don't understand sometimes. read more

Do not be fooled by the fancy office. This is a horrible dentist. I went for a check up and I was told I needed 4 fillings, I have never had a cavity in my life. I was confused but agreed to proceed. This procedure was extremely painful and I knew the minute they were done it wasn't correct. My bite was never the same. Another time I mentioned I was getting married and with him minutes they told me I needed about 10,000 worth of work done. These people just want money, horrible dentist. read more

I took my wife who is 77yo with Alzheimer's disease, to advanced dental. I expected them to do an examination and then give us an estimate of the care she needed. We already had seen our our regular dentist. He recommended a crown and root canal. He did not take our insurance and he wanted 2200. I called our Medicare health insurance co. They said advanced dental took our insurance. When we went to advanced dental today 3/2/2021, I told them my wife has Alzheimer's disease. WITHOUT ASKING, they did a tooth extraction and now my wife needs an implant. They wanted to charge us 2200. I was not prepared for a bill that large. We do not have any credit cards. I do not have 2200 in my checking account. I told them that and I think they were taken a back. We paid $100 and we left. I am going to get the money from my stock broker and pay them next week. Luckily. we have money to cover the expense. I really never liked advanced dental. They always want to charge for the most expensive procedures. Once they signed me up for medical credit card card without asking my permission. We only went there because our Medicare health.insirance is excepted there. I know that no insurance covers cosmetic procedures like crowns or implants. Still, doing 2200 of dental procedures without asking a responsible adult is GROSS MALPRACTICE. IMO. Next week when I pay them I will let them know I am very mad and I believe they should learn something from the experience. I am going to talk to the manager. read more

I found this dentist about 8 years ago out of desperation. I had a broken tooth and was on my way to our dentist in maple glen when I got in a car accident and missed my appointment. I called them and the maple glen dentist told me they couldn't see me till the following week. I was basically in tears from the pain. Got the van towed and went home and started searching and found them right around the corner from my house. Called them and they got me in that evening for a route canal. I've had multiple issues resolved by them now and my wife and kids also go here now. We've been very happy with the services we have received. As a matter of fact they wound up fixing a couple issues that resulted from poor work from the maple glen people for my wife. read more

The communication is horrible. why have Insurance because every time you go they wanna charge you for everything they can. They never tell you before hand you take time off from work to go to an appointment then they blindside you with charges. we will NOT be using them EVER again! i left this practice because I have been lied to multiple times about claims being processed. Ive been patiently waiting for months for a claim to be submitted to have work done. 3 months, only to find out that it never had been. I called to check on updates and I was there in person to get a status, everytime I'm told they had to resubmit it ... but they NEVER did. I'm done. read more

I have very good dental insurance and yet, every time I go there a mysterious balance appears on my bill. I never receive a bill in the mail, but months later when I show up for another treatment a new charge appears. I am getting very frustrated with this practice. I had bite wing X-rays and a cleaning at Advanced Dental Smiles (ADS). Then their dentist examined my teeth with no comment. Several months later I went to my periodontist who found a crack in one of my tenth by looking at the X Rays that had been sent to him by this ADS. Needless to say I am changing dentists. read more

2 stars and that's only because of Dr. Chinna... Dr. Vineta is an absolute joke doesn't listen to her patient and says nothing is wrong and then boasts about the one with a Dental license... Lmao time to go back to school! About a year ago she misdiagnosed my absessed tooth stating it was a sinus infection result in 1,000s of dollars to save my 2 teeth. Then a month ago my regular dentist wasn't there so in pain and needing to see a dr she sees me and again says nothing is wrong everything looks fine. When I tell her it feels loose she says no its fine if it comes out then they can do something so I spent 15 days on vacation in discomfort. Luckily my normal dentist called in a script for me and helped for a bit then the same bridge that "wasn't loose" got worse so I went back and in the room again everything is fine I asked them to pull on it and it popped right out... They clean it up and cement it back in then a month later same bridge has this sudden pressure under it hard to explain but as if a seperation from the tooth as I chew. I called up they said Dr Chinna wasn't there and probably couldn't get me in... So I said ok then about 2 hours later the tooth starts to throb so I call back and inform the girl on the phone and she says if I get there in 10 minutes I can be seen so I rush over get there with time to spare and then get rushed through the process I explain the exact same sensation is occurring as it did the last time she said nothing was wrong and that when Dr. Chinna ordered a steroid for me it helped alot and I could get by till she is back in again since I have to work the next week and she wasn't there.. She refused and said it's not loose and began to debate back and forth saying she had tugged on it... When I say tugged on it my 4 year pulls harder and I told her the feeling is the same and she started going on that she's a dr she went to medical school and starts getting her staff to defend her as she still debates me about how my tooth doesn't hurt because it's not loose then says when I eat it might come loose but it's not loose now... Then why is the pain the same then I asked her... "it might have gotten loose when I ate on it but wasn't loose when she looked at it" Foh... And you are a Dr? read more

Best experience I have ever had at a dentist. After going to my old dentist and his antiquated practice it was frightening but relieving to see what all the new technology he wasn't participating in can do for your teeth. All these issues I complained to him before about which he brushed off truly were issues, and with ADS' imaging and X-ray technology their techs and doctors were able to explain everything to me in living color and set up a plan to correct years of dental incompetence. The staff is fantastic A+++ and the office is beautiful, clean and welcoming. Though may journey may be long I am excited to return to ADS. read more

I had extensive work done at this location, literally 10's of thousands dollars, I began to have problems while I was still having treatment done there, 1st there was a problem with my billing, which I was overcharged $4,500 over what I had agreed to. Then I had a implant abscess so badly that it had to be removed, now after consulting with various main line dentist, I find out that the procedures that I had done at Advanced were questionable at best. Advanced Dental Smiles IS a Very UNPROFESSIONAL dental office. DO NOT GO THERE. Save yourself time and money. The office manager is a jerk; he (an Indian guy) has no intention nor ability to resolve problems but blaming others. The dentist was not even in the office but they scheduled a bunch of appointments and did NOT bother to notify the patients that the dentist is not coming in so need to reschedule. Clearly there is NO customer service at this dental office and they don't treat patients right - they treated you as if they were the only dental office in the world. I've been dealing with them for a month and fed up with their lousy service. Heck with them. The only thing they did do is to make sure you won't smile. This place is a JOKE! They have a special for $89 and don't tell you its only for people with no insurance! So they bill my insurance for $490.00 and when I went in to talk to them they tell me It is not me paying its my dental insurance. I call that cheating the system they make almost 400.00 for my cleaning! They also say its cheaper than Warminster Dental....wrong my daughter paid 248.00 the week before and had Flouride treatment done. read more
