My experience with the front office staff at Warminster Dental was extremely disappointing. They were unwelcoming, unhelpful, and came across as rude throughout my interaction. A dental office can be stressful for patients, and the first impression starts with the people at the front desk. Unfortunately, I felt like I was treated as an inconvenience rather than a patient. Customer service and compassion should be a priority in any healthcare setting. If interacting with patients in a courteous, respectful, and welcoming manner isn't something the front office staff can provide, they may want to consider whether this is the right profession for them. I sincerely hope management addresses these concerns because a friendly, professional front office makes a tremendous difference in the overall patient experience. read more

Really disrespectful & rude front staff. They make you feel like they are doing you a favor in making an appointment. Would not reccomend.

BEWARE Especially if you are elderly and have no dental insurance. They will try to get you into one of their "smile coverage " programs and then if you have a disagreement with the reception desk about ANYTHING they will dismiss you from there practice and keep all of the money you paid. They also try to make you have dental care that you DON'T need. Like caps on teeth that you have no interest in capping at a high cost. They really want more money than just a regular check up. I love Warminster Dental! Dr. Halton is excellent. He's also a kind & friendly person! (Who doesn't love people who love their pets?) I'm in the middle of major dental work & I'm anxious about "any type" of medical or dental procedure..... They are always comforting, explain all the procedures, and are welcoming and friendly. The staff at the front desk, the Dental Assistants, and everyone I've met have been welcoming, kind, and non-judgmental. An extra "shout out" to all the administrative staff! Staff is very rude, especially Denise at the front desk. Dr Walker is unprofessional and rushed her patients. To top it all off, their xray tech is not a certified tech, so she spends extra time trying to figure out what she's even doing. read more

BEWARE of Warminster Dental Associates and their "Smile Program" which is for patients who don't have dental insurance. It's essentially a bait and switch. My family purchased the "Smile Program" which stated that you receive 2 cleanings per year. I scheduled my 1st cleaning appointment with Warminster Dental Associates, but when i got there they told me this appointment was not for a cleaning, but instead was a new patient visit where they simply take x-rays and review my teeth. After the checkup, they told me they will not be cleaning my teeth because they want me to purchase a debridement before they "polished" my teeth. This debridement was not covered under the "Smile Program" and they wanted me to pay $170 for this. When I told them I didn't want the debridement at this time they told me that they will NOT polish my teeth until I pay them the additional $170 for the debridement. I asked them for a refund then for the "Smile Program" and they said they don't give refunds. So essentially, they took my money for the "Smile Program" which stated I get 2 cleanings per year, but refuse to clean my teeth until I pay them another $170 for a procedure isn't necessary. Bait and Switch! Please be careful doing business with Warminster Dental Associates as they are very unethical and money hungry. read more

I normally absolutely hate dentists. I mean hate going to the dentists, my appointments with Dr, Halton were amazing. I never felt a needle, which is my biggest fear of all. I never thought I'd be writing a review for a dentist on Yelp, but some things are just so unexpectedly great you have to let others know. Backstory: I spent hours, HOURS, looking for a dentist who accepted my current dental plan (Aetna DMO -- impossible to find quality dentists who accept it). I came across Warminster Dental Associates amongst Aetna's search results and they caught my eye, being a smaller practice than the other offices I call "dental mills." As a foster parent who is forced to take her kids wherever their insurances are accepted, these "dental mills" scare and disgust the living crap out of me, the ones I've been to at least. Dingy offices, dirty instruments, and a large, rotating cast of impersonal dentists and techs who either cannot or refuse to communicate clearly and comfortingly. My experience making an appointment with Warminster Dental Associates was pleasant. The receptionist guided me through the process of having Aetna confirm that I was on their DMO list (Aetna's fault) and from there, we scheduled away. I was assigned to Dr. Benjamin Halton who simply must be the most friendly and upbeat dentist in the Western world. During each of my four visits, I was greeted enthusiastically with a smile and a handshake. I have never had such pleasant and comfortable experience at a dentist's office... let alone four of them. Seriously, I almost *almost* wish I had a reason to go back before my next 6-month cleaning. Besides the enjoyable conversations about childhoods and quality television dramas, the man is a damn good dentist! I had four aging silver fillings replaced within the last week (goodbye, mercury!). My last two were done today, twelve hours from writing this review. I do not feel as though today started off with a mouthful of dental work. Every other time I've been to a dentist, I've felt the needle, then the sting of the Novocain, and then also the pain of whatever was being done followed by about six hours of delayed numbness. Dr. Halton did everything expertly, from numbing to bite adjustment. Completely comfortable experience. The office was easy to find and the the rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. My wait time for each visit was typically between five and ten minutes. The techs and hygienists working there are super friendly, professional and informative. The only thing that struck me as odd was that my cleaning and check up had to be done as two separate appointments, but each experience was great and with my $5 copay I really couldn't worry about it. I highly, highly recommend this office for your dental needs, as having your teeth drilled couldn't possibly get any better than this bewilderingly pleasant experience. I just can't believe it could. Great place! Been a client since the beginning of 2015 and I'm glad I made the right pick. When I first came to Warminster Dental they were at their temporary location. My 6th month follow-up they were at their new location and it's such a beautiful office. I've had to get some work done in addition to my cleaning, so my several visits have been pleasant. The dental hygienist are very kind and make you feel at home. Both doctors that I have had are welcoming and make a point to talk to you besides asking you about your teeth! I was a patient here years ago and recently tried them again. I always liked that they were efficient with short wait times and high tech painless cleanings. However, I experienced severe dental issues after visiting them, TWICE. Years ago a hygienist chipped my tooth and the dentist mocked me when I asked about getting it fixed. Tried again a month ago and after an exam ended up in the ER in the middle of the night with an abscess and swelling, a month of antibiotics and appointments and a root canal. I'm sure it was a coincidence and there was already infection brewing that they disturbed but I would avoid this practice. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This morning I came in, in excruciating pain. As soon as I walked in the door I noticed people were in and out fast. I get taken back and I say to the hygienist I have a pain on my right side top and bottom. She takes Xrays and as soon as shes the broken tooth up top. She automatically claims that is the problem. I say to her no the bottom hurts bad also, I have a partially impacted wisdom tooth. She said She DID NOT SEE it on the Xray, but she would tell the dentist. I can see it myself when I look in the mirror how can you guys not see it on the xray. The dentist comes in and says the same thing- broken tooth up top nothing else. She offers me nothing but a referral just to get THAT TOOTH EXTRACTED. I then say to her my wisdom tooth is causing the pain too, she said she didnt see anything and I should talk to the oral surgeon about it, she could do nothing for it because I came in for pain in my broken tooth. When I actually came in because the entire right side was in pain. She didn't even offer me an antibiotic. I had to ask for it, and she gave it to me after basically saying I didnt need it. She saw me for a total of 5 minutes. She didnt even seem like she cared. So I left and I was in so much pain I decided to get a second opinion. Thank god I did. I actually have an infection in my broken tooth and in the wisdom tooth which both NEED to come out. The second dentist took the time to hear me out, and tell me exactly what was going on. She spent 15 mins checking both and telling me I needed a strong antibiotic. Its almost like warminster dentals dentist just wanted to move me in and out. I threw up and got dizzy because of the pain so the 2nd dentist who actually cared gave me ibuprofen 800 and tylenol 3s. Please start treating people like people and less like dollar signs. read more

Dentists do a good job but the practice is limited. Hygienist was terrible. If you like being lectured while you're being tortured during a cleaning then this is the practice for you. read more

I had my six month exam today. I was told that I needed a full set of X-rays today. I told the worker that I would wait until February because my insurance was changing then and I could afford it at that time. She then told me that I was still covered with their "Smile" insurance which I had purchased last year and that I would not be charged for the X-ray service..so I told her ...since I am still covered I would accept the service. She explained that I would "absolutely not be charged for this service"......until I went to checkout. I was given a bill for $302. I told the office manager Christi that the dental assistant Amanda had told me that I was covered under their "Smile" insurance plan. She told me that she "misspoke " and that I owed $302.UNBELIEVABLE!!....not even a "I'm sorry sir....it's our mistake"....nope....just pay up! I came home frustrated mad. My wife then decided to go back and see if she could talk some sense into this person Christy.Christy said that if we purchased another year of their "Smile"insurance,the bill could be reduced to $235...but I explained to Christy earlier that I wouldn't need that because I will be 65 in February and my Medicare supplement would cover that.....didn't even make a dent....just pay up....so I was extorted for $235 in insurance that I don't even need!! I guess they figure that seniors are just stupid and can be manipulated easily. I will never go back to this practice because of their unscrupulous way they handle their business. read more

I have been going to this practice for the past 7 years (2 times a year!!) and have always had a good experience....accept for the last time. There seemed to have been some miscommunication because I was expecting to see one dentist to perform my cavity but another dentist (who I do not like) came in and did the procedure. I told the tech that I was expecting one dentist and Dr. Halton came in. She said that I was told about the change in which I replied "I was not." Upon check out, I told the receptionist (who also happened to be the office manager) and she said they will put the names of the doctors I prefer to see in my file (which was fine with me) ***Five days later, I received a form letter (with no letter head and not signed by any doctor) that they were dropping my kids and I from the practice and they deleted our future appointments! I stopped by the office during the next business day and was told I seemed unhappy with the practice so they were dropping me. So, instead of trying to make things better (which I thought they did!), they will no longer see me....I would never recommend this practice!*** read more

This is a great office...everyone is super friendly!! Painless dentistry at its best!!! I would recommend this office to all of my friends and family!! All the doctors and staff are very knowlegible and show great care for their patients...I actually enjoy going to the dentist now and the work is amazing!!! read more
