We just moved to Ventura last week and once we really settled into our place, we realized, looking at our couch, that it had definitely seen better days. Cue Advanced Carpet Care! Niel was the best and saved our couch! Not only is he a true professional, but he's also very down-to-earth AND honest! We had asked about cleaning our rug too, but he had a good eye in realizing I paid hardly anything for it, and suggested it wouldn't be worth it (which I had already been thinking, but the Mister at least wanted to ask). If you're looking to get any fabrics steamed and cleaned, stop looking, cuz Niel is your dude to get the job done. read more

Neil was so very personable and friendly and gave me a quote over the phone, which was what he honored when he came over. He was very honest since our carpets are very old, and explained how he cleaned the carpets and then he made our carpets clean and smelling good! He was done really quick (1 1/2hrs) and I am very happy with his work!! Pricing was very affordable! Attached is a pic he took of one of our rooms...you really don't know how dirty your carpets are until you take a side by side! Thanks Neil!! Will call you back!! read more

I live out of town and looked up carpet cleaning companies in Ventura to have my uncle's carpets cleaned. Neil answered on my first call and was able to schedule within a week. He showed up on time and did an amazing job. The carpet had never been cleaned in the 13 years my uncle has owned the home. My uncle has a small dog who marks all around the house, and various other stains. Neil was patient and listened to me and my concerns and was realistic about what he could do with off-white, apartment grade carpet. It turned out better than expected. Thanks Neil! read more

Neil just cleaned our carpet before the holiday and made them look wonderful. He took the time to explain some of the reasoning behind the staining and the process of removing them. His explanation of why our carpet attracts and keeps some of the stains made me rethink our carpet choices for the future. Neil gave me an estimate over the phone which was very reasonable. He was on time and worked quickly. It was wonderful to have clean and fast drying carpet. Thank you Neil for a job well done! read more

Neil cleaned my carpet today and got better results than I ever imagined possible. I had a room that had pet accidents in the carpet and there is absolutely no odor at all now. He got the heavy traffic areas back to the original color, even on my low quality carpet. Thanks, Neil! A+ read more

I can't thank Neil from Advance Carpet Care enough. I'm a painter who stores tons of paint in the house. Anyway I "had" a roommate who got drunk and took all of my orange paint and sprayed it all over my carpet. Seriously make sure you vet your roommates thoroughly. My carpets looked like a reject Pollock. Thankfully Advance Carpet Care came to the rescue. The cleaner told me it might not come out but thankfully it ended up looking good. Seriously terrific service. read more

Neil came to my rescue! One of the big-name carpet cleaner companies couldn't complete the job because their engine exploded inside the back of their van...literally. It was engulfed in smoke and oil poured out of it onto our driveway and down the street. Half of the carpet in the house was done and the other half was already sprayed with cleaner! Neil answered his phone right away, was kind and informative and arrived in less than 90 minutes! He was very polite and explained how he cleans carpets...the right way. I was amazed at the difference between what the big-name carpet cleaner did and what Neil did. His equipment was up to date, well maintained, clean and powerful. I could HEAR the strong suction as he cleaned the carpet! I highly recommend Neil at Advance Carpet Care. I won't be using the big-name cleaner company ever again! Thanks, Neil! read more

My carpets look amazingly improved. They felt like a lost cause because they were in a rental home and I had no idea where half the stains came from. Paid $160.00 in cash for this guy to come clean 3 bedrooms walkway paths only, not the whole room less than 270 Sq feet for all 3. I used a bissell to spot clean in the master early in the month so I had some nice clean spots. So this guy was to come clean the carpet and make it as clean as the spots I made. 24 hours later I still have my clean spots and my carpet does not look like he cleaned it at all. I called him asked if he would come out and just go over the area again, he basically said no. I must have used bleach on the carpet...NOT! I use the Bissell soap that came with it for pets. DONT use the cleaning service on the back of City Shopper he will take your money and run. I did call another carpet service they said if he was professional he would come back for at least 20 minutes with hot steam it again. This guy RUINED our carpet! read more

Short version: Neil was awesome. Hire him and move on to other worries. Long Version: - Quality of Work: I used to clean carpets for a living, came from a family-owned multi-generational janitorial business doing big commercial buildings with industrial strength equipment and picky business clients. I think I'm qualified to tell you the system Neil uses is a very good one. Most importantly, it sucks the dirty water out to his truck mount. Don't get a system that doesn't do this, otherwise it just moves dirt around and makes your carpets look brighter, but the yucky stuff is still there just buried deeper. Also, every step of the way he would point out things he was doing to deal with trouble spots, get my approval on them before moving on. His emphasis was on making me happy. - Price: Wasn't the absolute cheapest, but very affordable. - Reliability: Scheduled a couple weeks ahead of time at my convenience. He remembered without a reminder, showed up on time, did the work efficiently. - Professionalism: He's got great equipment, dresses well, communicates well. OK, enough. Go hire him. read more

I won't be using any one else! Neil did a wonderful job on our older carpets getting out some really set in red Juice stains. He showed up on time, was quick and very pleasant. I will recommend Neil to friends and family. read more

Just finished a carpet cleaning within the last few hours. Neil was so friendly both on the phone, upon arrival and throughout the cleaning. Carpets were cleaned and look great! Price is the price regardless of how dirty your carpets might be. No up-selling or being made to feel uncomfortable. Drying so quickly too! Carpets not wet to the touch when he finished so I know he didn't put large amounts of water on the carpet. Lots of steam! Will use Advance Carpet Care for all of our future carpet cleaning! read more
