One of the worst experiences in customer service that I have ever had in my life. I signed a…read morecontract for 1 year and ended up staying at the gym an additional 6 months on a month-to-month basis. Once I decided that I felt confident that I would be able to continue working out on my own and expressed that I no longer wanted their services, they did everything in their power to complicate the process of terminating the contract. They came up with any and every type of excuse that they could to try to continue to get money from me long after I stopped attending the gym and utilizing their services. I am currently in a situation where I told them months ago I wanted to end my contract, and they then required a 30 day notice so another months payment, and then after receiving that, they have taken 2 additional payments out of my account and are trying to say the contract was never closed out to continue taking money out of my account. Also, now they refuse to answer their phone for me and are saying my account is still open. I wanted to support this Black owned business and had good results from Jibril's training efforts, but the level of customer service is not worth the results. Additionally, Madison, you are not good at your job, maybe you should look into some other opportunities because working with customers isn't one!

I was lied to about the contract I was entering into, have had unauthorized drafts on my account,…read moreand didnt receive the training I paid for. On 11/14, I entered into a contract with ABS to be effective 11/22. The contract was for three month, with training 2x a month for 30 minutes each. My complaint has two parts. First, I was lied to about a portion of the contract, and the way the system is set up, I could not see what I was signing before I signed. I was told that I was signing authorizing the draft from my account, when in fact I was signing to leave the contract open ended. I was never provided information to cancel or told that there was ANY action required on my part. On 2/11, I called the Ballantyne location and spoke with Warner, who confirmed that there would be no draft for 2/22., when in fact, there was. Second, I am still owed two months, (two hours, $160 worth) of personal training sessions. Save yourself the headache, and find another trainer.

Very disappointing experience with InMotion Wellness…read more I initially purchased a 3-month package and was given the impression that I would be contacted before the 3 months were up to see whether I wanted to continue. I never received a call, notification, or receipt letting me know that I was being enrolled into an ongoing monthly membership. I later discovered that I had been charged $199 per month, despite the fact that I have not used the services at all. I also did not receive receipts or any communication notifying me that these recurring charges were taking place. Once I realized what was happening, I contacted the Statesville location to ask about canceling the membership and getting a refund. I was told someone would get back to me, but I never received a call back or any follow-up. I understand that memberships can have terms and conditions, but there is a big difference between knowingly agreeing to a recurring membership and believing you are purchasing a 3-month package and will be contacted about continuing afterward. I'm extremely disappointed with how this has been handled, particularly the lack of communication and follow-through when I tried to resolve the issue directly. I hope InMotion will take responsibility for the situation and make this right.

We arrived a little late and caught the tail end of the warm-up, but they made room for us without any fuss, and we jumped right into the workout. The class was a full-body circuit with a nice variety of exercises that kept things interesting. It was definitely challenging, but the atmosphere was positive and encouraging throughout. There were about 15 people in the class, and Jaquwon did a great job walking around, checking on everyone, offering pointers, and providing encouragement when needed. It felt like everyone got individual attention despite the size of the group. Overall, I really enjoyed the workout and had a great experience. If I lived in the area, I would absolutely make this one of my regular gyms. I'm already looking forward to stopping by again the next time I'm in town!

I've been going to Fitness Destinations since January of 2021 and I am still loving it!…read more Coming out of being home all day, everyday for a year, eating everything in sight, I was eager to get back in the gym. My main goal, at first was simply to get back into a routine. Get back to wanting to workout, build up my stamina and my strength. My friend recommended FD and I haven't looked back. There are classes running basically all day, Monday-Friday with a few classes on Saturday and Sunday. There is also personal training options and open gym, so there is really no excuse. You can find something you would like to do. I have been consistently going to the gym 4-6 days a week, at the 5AM class. It's a combination of strength training and HIIT, outdoor activities and more. They mix it up so you won't get bored! I had a personal trainers before and I knew that wasn't the route for me at this point. The class session is great because the gym is large enough to not feel like all eyes are on you, but small enough that you still get the attention you need, if needed. They do well at learning your goals, your strengths and your weaknesses, and being sure to adapt workouts for you if that's what's needed. They will also have conversations with you about your nutrition, ensuring you're eating the right things, getting enough water and sleep. If they don't see you for a while, they will check-in to make sure you're ok. They're concerned about you as a WHOLE person. Everyone feels like family. You build great relationships with your fellow gym mates and trainers. I honestly couldn't see myself going anywhere else! I've tried other stuff since then, and though they could be a great addition, I'll always have room for FD. I highly recommend it!
