Once I decided that I felt confident that I would be able to continue working out on my own and expressed that I no longer wanted their services, they did everything in their power to complicate the process of terminating the contract. They came up with any and every type of excuse that they could to try to continue to get money from me long after I stopped attending the gym and utilizing their services. I am currently in a situation where I told them months ago I wanted to end my contract, and they then required a 30 day notice so another months payment, and then after receiving that, they have taken 2 additional payments out of my account and are trying to say the contract was never closed out to continue taking money out of my account. Also, now they refuse to answer their phone for me and are saying my account is still open. I wanted to support this Black owned business and had good results from Jibril's training efforts, but the level of customer service is not worth the results. Additionally, Madison, you are not good at your job, maybe you should look into some other opportunities because working with customers isn't one!

My main goal, at first was simply to get back into a routine. Get back to wanting to workout, build up my stamina and my strength. My friend recommended FD and I haven't looked back. There are classes running basically all day, Monday-Friday with a few classes on Saturday and Sunday. There is also personal training options and open gym, so there is really no excuse. You can find something you would like to do. I have been consistently going to the gym 4-6 days a week, at the 5AM class. It's a combination of strength training and HIIT, outdoor activities and more. They mix it up so you won't get bored! I had a personal trainers before and I knew that wasn't the route for me at this point. The class session is great because the gym is large enough to not feel like all eyes are on you, but small enough that you still get the attention you need, if needed. They do well at learning your goals, your strengths and your weaknesses, and being sure to adapt workouts for you if that's what's needed. They will also have conversations with you about your nutrition, ensuring you're eating the right things, getting enough water and sleep. If they don't see you for a while, they will check-in to make sure you're ok. They're concerned about you as a WHOLE person. Everyone feels like family. You build great relationships with your fellow gym mates and trainers. I honestly couldn't see myself going anywhere else! I've tried other stuff since then, and though they could be a great addition, I'll always have room for FD. I highly recommend it!

The gym isn't that big, so it was surprising when I saw how much they packed inside. I think you get your moneys worth with a membership here. Depending on the time of day, parking can get a little crowded, but even if you can't park directly in front of the building, there's plenty of parking nearby. The location is great too, just off Gilead Rd, near Starbucks, Walgreens, etc. I've been very happy here. There are just a few machines that aren't available that I wish they had. But like I said, they are regularly updating and swapping out equipment, so maybe I just need to inquire about what I'm interested in.

It's not a super large gym, perhaps like some others in the area. However, it is a really good size and you never really have to wait for machines or equipment. It seems that they try to keep the equipment up-to-date and every now and then you will see some new/updated equipment on the floor for use. It's also not crowded (usually the regular 1-3 people are there), at least during the super early morning time, when I go. If you go later in the morning, there are a lot more people there and it can become a little crowded. Either way, it's always your average, typical gym folks there that are considerate of others, never any grunters or ones that make you feel out of place when working out. This Anytime Fitness is located in a shopping center with a variety of establishments such as Walgreens, Starbucks, FedEx, and many other eateries and stores. So it is a great location with plenty of parking and things around which may be needed before or after a workout. The owner, manager and trainers are very nice and helpful when needed. If you live in the area, definitely try out this Anytime Fitness for your workouts.

You've probably heard a lot about Crossfit from various places. For most, it brings with it a strong emotion either way. I can tell you that I was not a regular gym rat. Sure, I biked every now and again, but I wasn't feeling a strong attachment to it. Since joining Crossfit 704, I've seen great improvement to my work outs. I think if you find the right box, CrossFit is an awesome choice for a lot of people.It's different every day, so it's never boring, someone is writing your workouts for you so you don't have to think about it, and its fun.When I don't show up, people notice and ask where I was.It gets you to do things you wouldn't do on your own. I would never go running or rowing on my own - but if it's in the WOD, I don't have a choice. Also, I'll go and do things that I would never do before (such as yoga classes, or spending a saturday afternoon doing hill sprints) because I know it will help me get a better time on a WOD later on. Does it work? Well, what's your goal? If it's to get in better shape or to lose weight, then yes, it works. However, it's not some cureall magic pill - as with any other training program, you will get out of it what you put into it. This location is amazing. Crossfit is all about community, and I feel it every time I show up. HUGE part of CrossFit is the supportive community aspect that comes with each gym. I guarantee you'd finish a workout a few seconds (or minutes) faster if you had 10 people screaming your name and cheering you toward the finish line. The coaches, the community, the life changing possibiltiies - you have no reason not to check out Crossfit 704.

There is a limited membership to each location. Its cozy and smaller. It's open 24/7. All of these factors resolved my issues with other gyms. My initial sit down assessment with Aidan was included in my package. He was the first trainer that could explain my extreme fatigue during my workouts and told me some simple tips I incorporated in my own workout by myself and it made a huge difference. He was very knowledgeable about explaining how he can move forward with my concerns and goals. On my assessment I had a body scan to see where my percentages were. Looking forward to working out here more often!!
