Long story short, in 9 degree weather, outside and in, they worked all day New Year's Eve and part of the day after New Year's and got the job done. They would have finished on New Year's Eve, but they found the reason for the drained water and replaced a large section of pipe. The brand-new furnace is a thing of beauty. They even hooked up a fire and carbon monoxide sensor near the furnace as a safety precaution. Another extra they did was move a lot of junk out of the way to get the furnace in place and the old one out. You know how basements can get. My wife and I are both disabled, and we never would have been able to do it ourselves. As for cost, our home-owner's insurance paid for everything, and they didn't think the cost was excessive. I honestly don't know furnace and service prices, so I'd have to go along with what the insurance company said. Needless to say, I highly recommend these guys.
