At the end of your course you get to practice on a real model to see if you understood all of the techniques. Whatever you do.... Don't volunteer to be a model if you don't FULLY trust the person doing it. I let another lady use me as her model and my brows ended up asymmetrical! I'm a perfectionist so I could tell they were uneven but she couldn't. So that's my tip. I will upload a picture of how I did her brows, they came out perfect!

She told at least six of us, that she wouldn't turn our hours into the state, until we made a video for her and left a 5 star review for her school. She is, by far, the most unprofessional and immature "teacher" I've ever experienced- and I have a 4-year degree. She is the only one you will come in contact with - she has 1-2 other teachers who are only on-line. Despite this, I never ONCE saw her perform an esthetics basic. I actually got my hours, without ever covering anatomy and physiology- a requirement by the state. New students beware.... It was a nightmare.

Trying to save some money I went here. I should've run. The girl helping me and the teacher Ms. Dee have very different hair than me. I offered what I knew about my hair (I'm a level 6, my hair lightens pretty quickly), and I was told "we'll see." I should've run. The long of the short is that I went in for baby lights. I saw them separating my hair in big sections. I should've run. Instead I ended up with BLOCK HIGHLIGHTS. Like straight up 90s style. I've never cried over my hair. But I was distraught. I couldn't speak. I checked out and I was sobbing before I ran to the car. (I ended up going to a very expensive place that is well known to spend way more to have it fixed--save yourself the time and tears--go to the fancy places).
