When THAT one didn't produce a result he advised I have a mechanic do a more detailed diagnostic, possible an ECM issue. Didn't try to sell me a battery, or cat cleaner. I was able to Facebook message Mike, and we worked out a great cash price on a VQ37 with 81k miles on it. Just $1100! Sure, might have found something slightly cheaper online, but having a motor shipped in sight unseen? Yikes, no thanks. And after all the work, the motor is simply EXCELLENT. My 370z (flex) spins like a top now... frankly it runs even better than the day I got it. Partial credit to the shop that did the work, and the remainder here for selling me a good engine. The one tiny little gripe is that dude at the front desk with the bluetooth headset and the glass surrounding his work area like a hockey rink. I mean, what IS that? Why work at a *front desk* if you are clearly trying to shield yourself from the outside world as you do... whatever the hell it is you do. Fortunately, there are other people working here. Within the first 3 months the CUE system stopped working twice and only displayed a black screen. As a result, the radio, heat, back up camera, staring wheel controls, and parking assist do not work. Stephens reset the system and it would work for a few weeks and go out again. In addition, the car does not start up at least once a week where I have to continue to hit the push to start until it eventually starts. Most recently, the car has had an issue shifting into drive. Update: I still a little disappointed that I had so many issues with the car within the first few months however Stephens has gone above and behind to resolve the issue especially the service department and Bryan the service manager. I was so frustrated with the issues I hung up on Bryan when I was advised on how much it would cost. Instead of getting upset and giving up Bryan called the head office and found a program that would cover the majority of the cost. Instead of taking it personal he understood my frustration and continued to help. He called me several times to provide updates of the status and resolved the issue fully. One would not expect to have so many issues within a year after paying $30k on a vehicle. However, based on my experience with the service department I would say the issues I had were just and abnormally which happens. Based on the service and resolution I would have no problem buying from Stephens again or recommending them to others. I truly appreciate the work the service department and Bryan did to correct the issues with my car. Great guy!

After having the car inspected for a wrap on the top, a reputable company informed us that the car has no ceramic coating. We were shocked, so we had it looked at by another company known for ceramic coatings, and they confirmed there was no coating on the car. Both companies put their findings in writing. We called them up, and they claimed to have done the coating but had no solution for us. Understandably, we are very upset; we gave them a chance to offer a solution or make it right, and they basically just said, "we did it," and that was it. The car also has swirl marks and did not undergo proper paint correction before it was "coated." Walking out after spending $100,000, we should be 100% happy, and we definitely aren't. We feel like we were swindled. I will give two stars because the salesman and the people who gave us the car tutorial and set up were very kind and informative. However, their response to a very valid complaint is unacceptable.
