I come to this location when I have questions- they're all very knowledgeable and friendly. I came in with a weird shaped light bulb that they were able to identify. When I told them that the now burned out light bulb was melting the housing it was in, they were able to supply me with a similar bulb with less wattage to bring the heat down. The clerk was fast, friendly and extremely helpful. The price was quite reasonable. I know I'd have paid ten times that if I'd asked a mechanic to help. The store was clean, the aisles were well lit, and I was able to get help from the clerk while socially distanced. The parking was easy with a big clean lot that's well lit. They're open late. Advance Auto Parts now has Die Hard Batteries, which they're pretty excited about. I'm excited for the Bruce Willis commercials. Yippie Kai Yay!

I…read morejust bought the truck used last month, and didn't have a spare yet, so I figured I could just pull the wheel off and roll it to a tire shop to have a new tire mounted on it. Unfortunately for me, I hadn't noticed the wheel locks on the lug and subsequently that there was no key in the pickup when I got it. I walked to the closer large chain tire store and asked if they could help me out, and their answer was a firm no. The wheel locks could not be removed. So I walked on down FM-78 until reaching this little tire shop nestled between two mechanics on FM-78 near Converse. I explained my situation and the owner assured me if I could get my truck there, they could break the wheel locks off. I had it towed, and sure enough, they had the first lock broken off in no time. The owner inspected my other tires and found they were all old and in desperate need of replacement. He gave me several options on used tires he had in stock to meet my needs and get me back on the road. No pushy sales tactics or guilt trips like at that major chain I mentioned. Just solid advice, and I went with a more than fair offer on four good quality used tires. $100 a piece. No charge for labor, mounting, or balancing, and they threw in new wheel locks. The new tires were mounted on my rims, and I was back on the road in under an hour. I will definitely be going back when it's time for a fresh set and a spare to show my appreciation!
