I came here with the front end of my car disassembled and with an incorrect mail-order inner tie rod that I had purchased online. This isn't a place for small talk, which I appreciate because I was in a hurry and needed the right part. There was a question as to whether my steering rack was manufactured by TRW or SMI. Although they only had one in stock, the sales guy said he could have the other option available for me within an hour from their other location. They're prices aren't the lowest, but there's definitely a level of expertise you'll find here that's sorely lacking at too many auto parts retail chains. These guys have experience in their field, and it shows. I'll definitely be back.

I then purchased a new vehicle and returned to Glassons when my warranty expired a few years later for a routine oil change and filter. Returning the vehicle again, the tech found that the drain plug on the pan also had not been secured correctly. I saw the BELOW COMMENT by the purported owner William posted Mar 10, 2025 .It caught my attention…read moreas Bill's picture is shown as the Owner's response, inferring that he is onsite. To my knowledge ,Bill retired and stepped away from GT automotive at least 6 years ago. I've been there a few times after Bill stepped away and more times prior to Bill retiring. Perhaps he is still the owner on paper, none of my business. I believed that the new owners were, Julie and her husband. I did not go to GT to make friends, but high quality work. However, Julie is rough, arrogant and lacks any semblance of HUMILITY and appreciation of customers. I stopped going to GT as the front desk woman "Julie" was consistently rude and dismissive. GT does great work, however, Julie was a terrible "Know It All" . ************* July 17, 2026- UPDATE - Responding to the "Owners" response to my post of July 4, 2026.... As to my standards and expectations, Customer Service is not limited mechanical work, it also includes respect, kindness, being treated with dignity. IMO, the "Owners" response to my comment reflects an unwillingness to accept constructive feedback, the need and desire to try to insult, rather than embrace, hence, reflecting a lack of humility, or ownership, full stop. In possessing a civil litigation background, I ask questions, not intended to put one on the defensive, as it may. Julie's husband (a seasoned mechanic) is kind. I just could not tolerate Julie, who works the front desk, and for the most part answers the phone calls as well. She displayed impatience with my questions. She is the conduit to the mechanics. In any business, the front desk gives the best impression on the appreciation of customers or lack of. Julie should be grateful and thankful that GT Automotive is doing well. This is demonstrated in having a high bar on respect and kindness to all customers. My comment should not be misconstrued as a vendetta as alleged, nor do I consider my comment a "bad review" as further alleged. It is intended to provide an opportunity for Julie to receive and accept the feedback in that this is how she may come across to some. Yelp Guidelines is to rate the "Overall" Experience. It is my first hand experience. Unequivocally, I am not a mechanic, nor is Julie. I had not dealt with Bill on my few last visits, as he'd long ago retired, at least 5 -6 years ago. Once again, GT DOES GREAT WORK. ********************* Business owner information William G. Business Owner Mar 10, 2025

I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. I have a 2013 Hyundai which needed front brakes badly,…read morealso needed a tire plugged because it had a slow leak and wiper blades. I live in the area and pass by this place all the time so I figured I would give it a shot. I called and spoke to Kevin who was such a great guy. Very nice. Usually mechanics come off as abrupt but not him. I told him what I needed he said bring the car in and he will take a look. He had the car for about an hour then called me to tell me the front brakes were bad but thank god they didn't cut into the rotors. He said the front tire could use a plug but he'd rather patch it because it will last longer. And of course the wiper blades which I already knew. Kevin also checked the rear brakes and told me they were ok. Now I have had several experiences being a woman where men mechanics tried to take advantage of me because I am a woman. Back in the day I used to repair my own cars (starters, carburetors, alternators etc) but since technology has taken over and everything needs to be done with computers I no longer fix my own cars. I certainly could have replaced the brake pads myself but I just didn't feel like it. So I took the car to Kevin and had him do everything. I only mention that I used to repair my own cars just to show I do know when I'm being "taken for a ride". Now Kevin could have easily seen me as a woman and could have totally tried to take advantage of the fact most women do not know about cars and just take the mechanics word for the diagnosis. Kevin did not!! He told me my rear brakes were fine. I didn't even ask him to check them. He did that as a courtesy at no charge to me!! I did not tell him my knowledge about cars until mine was fixed. Kevin and his brother are 100% HONEST businessmen!!! They are not out to rip people off. They only repair what needs to be repaired and you CANNOT beat the price and how quickly the work was completed!!! All that work (parts & labor) for under $300, and he only had the car for approximately 4 hours. So whenever I need any work done they will be the only ones to repair my cars!! I took a few business cards as I always do when I'm satisfied with the service I was provided from a business and I keep them in my wallet. About a week after my car was repaired my mom who also has a Hyundai brought her car to them and she was also 100% satisfied. Just yesterday I was at the WaWa putting air in all my tires and I was speaking to the gentleman waiting and he mentioned he had a slow leak in his tire. This was about 3:30pm so I told him to go over and see Kevin. I didn't have the card because I gave them all out but I told him where they were since he is from the area as well and knew just where to go. This is an A++++++ business and I will continue to recommend Kevin to all my friends, family and even strangers who are having car trouble. Keep up the great work and your HONEST business practice. You definitely have me as a customer as long as Yous are in business. Again if you are looking for a mechanic that is A. Kind, B. Honest and C. He joked that he'd have it done in one hour on a Saturday -- which they close at 1:00, something he did not tell me. I left and called two hours later to check on my car. He said he wouldn't have time to work on it today and asked if I could walk there because "it should be time enough since they close in 20 minutes." I rushed over. He said I owed $80 and that it would go toward my final bill for the "diagnosis." I paid, and we made an agreement that I'd drop my car off the next week. He promised it would only take a short time. I let him know I needed the car for work and that I'd be using a family member's car in the meantime. He once again joked about how easy of a fix it would be and told me not to worry -- it would be done before the week was out (this was Thursday). I dropped the car off. Saturday came, and the car still had not been fixed. I let them know I had to come get it. When I arrived, I asked if I owe anything? They responded, "Nothing, today." They asked me to bring the car back the following week because they were waiting on a part. I never brought the car back because I was displeased with the constant joking about how fast it would be, yet no work was done besides the "diagnostic" -- which I had already supplied to them upon arrival, and paid for. I am still driving around with a check engine light on, and they continue to bill me OVER $300. FOR WHAT?? When I call, they constantly say "they're busy right now and can't talk." My family has used them for many years, and I was told to go here. They have witnessed what Jake and his team of scammers have tried to pull on me. He will not be receiving any of our business again, and I hope people take this as a warning. If you want to get scammed and still have a broken car, this is your place.
