I've been a loyal Nissan owner for over 20 years, but Nissan of Dearborn gave me the most…read moredisrespectful and distressing experience I've ever had with a dealership. I dropped off my car for service, only to be told to just "throw the keys in the drop box" while staff stood inside. I was left waiting over a week for answers, only to learn the car supposedly needed $12k in repairs. Then I was offered just $500 for trade-in value -- a slap in the face. When I mentioned possibly buying a new Nissan Juke, they didn't even give me a business card, treating me like I couldn't afford it. On a second visit, their rep even told me to drive my unsafe car off the lot and "sell it on Facebook." Completely reckless advice. When I stood my ground, they made me come back a third time with my title, making the process as painful as possible. Meanwhile, their staff lied in follow-ups, claiming they only met me once. I have proof I was there multiple times. Worse, I am a combat veteran living with PTSD. Phone calls are a medical trigger, and I made it clear I needed communication by email only. Nissan Consumer Affairs and this dealership ignored that reasonable ADA accommodation request, continuing to call and text me instead of respecting federal law. A formal complaint has already been filed with the U.S. DOJ, and the MDCR will be next. To top it off, I even got a text asking me to change or remove my review -- showing their real priority is protecting their reputation, not fixing how they treat customers. This entire ordeal has been disrespectful, unsafe, and discriminatory. After two Nissans, I was ready to buy a third -- but not anymore. The one-star review stays.

Maybe it's because there's something about cars that calms me down. I love working on them…read more Learning and fixing things DIY style. So this is probably the best place and one of the cheapest place to find used parts for your car. $1 to rent a wheel barrow. Bring your tools and you're ready to go hunting. Just go through rows and rows and rows of cars that they have on the lot. We were looking for wheels and a rear hatch switch for my chevy blazer. The wheels were pretty easy to find. $40/wheel is a very good deal. Specially when I'm just swapping the tires out for winter treads. The switch was a bit harder to find. I felt like we searched each and every one of the same car or similar til we found one that has the clips still intact. Anyways,, for less than $200,, I walked away with a good switch and four rims for my chevy blazer, and I'm definitely a happy camper. I'll probably be coming back again next time for other items. I really feel the happiest when I'm doing things that give me a sense of accomplishment in the end. Specially when doing dirty man stuff like ripping parts off and putting it back together in your car. And for that,, I truly do appreciate you Taylor Auto Salvage. Thank you for reading my review. I hope this helps.

I have been on a couple of occasions to buy a part. This last visit was for a replacement aluminum…read morerim. Thanks to Michigan potholes I needed to replace a rim and tire. I called and they promptly looked up my vehicle need and found my rim for $45 with exchange of the old rim. That price was much cheaper than the others wanting $130+. I arrived and waited about 15 minutes for them to find the rim and mount my tire ($5 extra). Overall I have been satisfied with the service and selection of salvage parts. TIP: They don't put the parts on when you buy them from the counter. They open at 8am on Saturday and you should arrive early since they close at 2pm.

Their prices are good, not super cheap, but they definitely wont break your wallet. If you're in a pinch and need a new tire, they'll install one for you for 20 bucks. They do oil changes and all the basic regular maintenance you need for a car. If something is broken, they will use their huge salvage lot inventory to find a replacement part. If they dont have it, they can get it from elsewhere. Each time my car has been fixed, theyve done a phenomenal job. The one downside is that you will probably have to wait, because they are very busy. But once its your turn, they're quick to get you in and out. I'd recommend arriving at 830 or 845 am and waiting for them to open. Then you'll be out in no time. Otherwise, bring a book and take a seat!
